Despite its thick consistency, it absorbs well. It's my first time experiencing a cream with this unique texture~
ConsI noticed there are some ingredients ranked 2-3 on the list. It's a shame I can't use this on my kids because of those components.

The texture is quite rich, so you need to scoop it out with the spatula and warm it up in your hands before applying. While I'm not sure if it provides enough hydration for my extremely dry skin, it leaves my skin feeling incredibly soft after application. I've been using it for about a month now without any blemishes, so I'm satisfied. Let's be real though, it's hard to find that one perfect cream that suits your skin, right?
ConsConsidering the price, the effects aren't exactly mind-blowing. Also, because the texture is so thick, you have to really work it into your skin, almost like giving yourself a massage. It can be a bit of a hassle.

Due to its high concentration, it has a rich texture. At first, it might feel a bit heavy on the skin, but after gently massaging it in and allowing your body heat to melt it, it absorbs well into the skin! Although it's a bit inconvenient to scoop out with a spatula, I'm satisfied because when I apply a thick layer on clean skin before bed, I can feel my skin gradually improving by the next morning. If it weren't for the price, I'd love to slather it on thickly every night!
ConsThe downside is, of course, the price. Also, the inconvenience of having to use a spatula to scoop it out makes me wish it came in a tube form. It's a bit cumbersome to travel with!
TipI find that applying a thick layer of this product alone on clean skin every two or three days works better for me than mixing it with other products. If ceramides work well for your skin, I recommend giving this a try!

This cream has a rich texture but absorbs well. When applied, it feels like it coats the skin in a protective layer. It's not greasy or sticky, just nicely hydrating.
ConsI'm prone to blemishes with new skincare products, except for my usual ones. I experienced slight itching and a few small pimples appeared. However, when I reduced the amount of cream I applied, these symptoms disappeared.

For my first use of any product, I'm more concerned about potential blemishes than effectiveness, so I pay close attention to the ingredients. I appreciated that I could use this product without any particular worries. The texture was thicker than I expected, so my honest first impression was just okay... However, it comes with a spatula, and once you warm it up slightly with your body heat and spread it, it's surprisingly comfortable to use. It's perfect for this season! Even with just one layer, it kept my skin hydrated for a long time without any deep dryness. Although I received this as a promotional item, I really love the ingredients. I think it will be my go-to moisturizing and barrier cream for this winter!
ConsIf I were to purchase this product myself, I think the cost might be... quite significant. While I like the ingredients and how it feels on my skin, the price makes me hesitate about repurchasing.
TipEven if you apply it generously, as long as you make sure it absorbs thoroughly, your makeup will go on well. I applied two thin layers and didn't experience any pilling with my makeup. Since it has a rich texture, be careful not to apply too much before putting on makeup, as it might cause pilling.

I love that the ingredients are clearly listed inside and that they've used environmentally-friendly packaging materials. - Texture: It's incredibly thick and rich! When I first opened the double cap, it was so flat I thought there might be another plastic lid underneath. Even when I tried to melt it with my hands, it didn't budge. That's why the instructions say to use a spatula to scoop out the cream and apply it directly to your skin. - Feel on skin: Of all the creams I've tried, especially the super thick ones, they usually leave you feeling like 'I've just slathered on cream!' with an explosion of oil and stickiness. But this cream doesn't feel greasy or sticky at all! You know how in winter, when you step outside, the icy wind feels like it's going to tear your face apart? This cream is perfect for winter use because it's so rich and nourishing!
ConsFirst off, it's a bit on the pricey side for what it offers. Also, when you first apply the cream, instead of feeling like 'Wow, hydration!', it's more like it's creating a barrier. It's not sticky, but it feels like it's putting a film on your skin. Rather than replenishing moisture, its thickness seems to absorb the hydration from previously applied ampoules and emulsions, almost making your skin feel drier? It seems best used as a final step to lock in all the previous layers and prevent moisture loss. I probably won't repurchase.
TipFor easier application, try mixing it with your emulsion when you apply it.

I was expecting it to be thick since it's called a balm cream, but I didn't realize just how thick it would be! The best part is that despite being a balm, it absorbs well and doesn't leave a shiny finish. This means even those worried about excess oil can apply it comfortably. Recently, my super sensitive skin has been prone to redness with the slightest misstep in my routine, but this cream didn't cause any irritation, which I really appreciated.
ConsIt's a bit disappointing that there's no built-in spatula holder in the container, considering you need to use a spatula to scoop out the product.
TipSince it has a true balm-like consistency, you need to scoop it out and then thoroughly massage it into your skin, allowing it to melt in completely.

Luckily, I was selected by The Hwahae Testers to give it a try! ☆Texture: A rich, buttery cream reminiscent of coconut butter ☆Application: Glides on smoothly with a moisturizing feel ☆Experience: Unlike many hydrating creams that can be heavy or oily and cause blemishes, this one absorbs well without feeling sticky or suffocating. Its thick balm-like consistency is perfect for winter rather than summer. ☆With 6% ceramides and other beneficial ingredients for the skin barrier, you can feel this rich cream gently replenishing moisture as it touches your skin. After using it for about a week, compared to my previous moisturizer (Laneige), this product seems to have reduced redness and made my skin feel smoother. It's so soft! Despite its rich texture, it absorbs surprisingly well, leaving skin feeling hydrated.
Cons-The price is a bit steep... I'm using it sparingly. As we age, our skin barrier thins, so I'd love to keep using this if there are occasional discounts. -If you apply too much at once, it can pill. I recommend layering small amounts. In my experience, using about a fingertip of this cream plus a small dab of hydrating essence is sufficient.
TipRather than applying a large amount at once, it seems to absorb better if you layer small amounts and gently massage it in. Highly recommended for cold, dry winter nights!

The texture is thicker than butter - you need to spread this rich cream well as it doesn't melt easily like butter would. Some cosmetics hit you with a strong scent as soon as you open the lid, but this cera balm cream has a very subtle floral or herbal fragrance. The scent is so delicate yet pleasant, it reminds me of something from my childhood and I found myself taking in the aroma. While it takes some getting used to when applying, you'll quickly adapt. After application, your skin doesn't feel greasy, but rather velvety on the surface while feeling deeply hydrated. When I wake up in the morning, my skin still feels moisturized, not dry at all. As fall and winter approach, I usually worry about battling dryness and which cream to use, but thanks to this cera balm, I'm not afraid of dryness anymore. There's an inner lid when you open it, where you can hygienically store the small spatula, which is very practical. + Additional note (Jan 11, 2023): I love this cream so much! I got to try it as part of The Hwahae Testers, but it's so good I'm thinking of getting one for my mom who has dry skin too. I think their crowdfunding campaign has ended... Anyway, thanks to this cream, I haven't felt any dryness at all lately.
ConsThe texture is very thick, so at first it was difficult to apply as I wasn't used to it. The instructions say to apply it directly to the skin using the enclosed spatula instead of transferring it to your hand first, but I found this quite challenging. It kept falling off at first. So I found it easier to just put a small amount on my fingertips and spread it directly on my skin. I'm not sure if it's because I changed my skincare routine when I started using this cera balm cream, but I did get some small blemishes on the first and second day. They've subsided now.
TipBecause it's quite thick, make sure you prep your skin well with your previous skincare steps for better absorption. Although it says to use this instead of your regular cream, I applied it after my usual moisturizer, focusing on drier areas before spreading it all over as a final step. This way, I wake up with perfectly hydrated skin.

Even applying a small amount leaves your skin feeling coated and hydrated. Even when applied generously, it doesn't feel greasy and absorbs quickly! Its excellent moisturizing power keeps your skin hydrated for a long time, and even without exfoliating, your skin texture becomes smoother. I have super sensitive skin, but even when I apply it generously, it doesn't cause itching or blemishes!
ConsThe texture is extremely rich, making it harder to spread thinly compared to other creams. It doesn't melt as easily as expected, so you need to apply it in small amounts rather than all at once.
TipAfter applying the cream, if you finish with an aloe soothing gel, your skin calms down much faster and feels more hydrated than when using either the cream or soothing gel alone.
