Usually, spatulas are too big to store with the product, leading to loss or dust accumulation. This one is cleverly designed to fit inside the container! Ingredients: Packed with 41% Centella Asiatica extract, 6% ceramides, and squalane - high concentrations of ingredients great for hydration, skin regeneration, and barrier function! Texture and application: It has a thick, buttery texture like coconut meat. However, it doesn't melt instantly on the skin as expected. Honestly, it's the most challenging product I've used in terms of application. Absorption: Due to its thick consistency, it takes quite a while to absorb. To avoid irritation, I gently press it into my skin, using my body heat to help it melt and absorb better. If you're worried about it being too oily due to its thickness, fear not! Once fully absorbed, it leaves the skin feeling soft without any stickiness. It's like 'matte but moisturized' - dry on the outside, hydrated on the inside! Scent: Perfect for those who dislike strong fragrances. It has a subtle floral scent, almost unscented. Blemish potential: None! As someone with sensitive skin, this is crucial. Even the best ingredients can be useless if they don't suit your skin, so I'm thrilled this didn't cause any blemishes. However, be cautious with the amount used, as it contains stearic acid which could potentially clog pores if overused. Moisturizing effect: The 6% ceramides really deliver! It locks in moisture, reducing dryness, and I noticed my skin felt softer the next day. Subtle glow: I compared it on the back of my hands - one with, one without. The side with the product had a subtle, beautiful glow. Using a small amount before makeup could give a natural, dewy look. Overall rating: 3.5 stars. Despite being packed with great functional ingredients, the application and absorption issues significantly detract from its other benefits. I hope they improve this aspect!
ConsThe texture makes absorption quite disappointing. It takes a while to melt on the skin and feels like you're applying candle wax (paraffin) to your face. This makes me reluctant to use it regularly - definitely needs improvement urgently. Be careful with the amount you use in the morning, as too much can cause makeup to slide off. It's not really suitable as a moisturizer on its own. It's better used in small amounts over your regular moisturizer to lock in hydration. The price is surprisingly high for what it offers.
TipDue to its thick texture, I recommend using this as a night treatment rather than in your busy morning routine. If you're concerned about the application, try mixing it with a drop of jojoba oil or a bit of your regular emulsion or cream. I found it works better when I gently press it into my skin, allowing my body heat to melt it for better absorption. As someone with chronically chapped lips, I discovered it works great as a lip balm alternative. The gentle ingredients make it perfect for this dual use!

It's great that it doesn't feel drying on my skin, yet it's not sticky at all. Plus, it's non-irritating, so I didn't experience any blemishes.
ConsThe way it absorbs is a bit challenging... The texture is thick like butter, making it difficult to control the amount and apply smoothly.
TipDue to its thick consistency, I found that applying it right after using plenty of essence, or mixing it with essence, helped improve how it absorbs onto the skin.

This was a great opportunity to learn more! When I first opened the jar, I was surprised - even after removing the inner lid, I thought there was another layer. It felt so solid when I touched it (probably even more so from being chilled during shipping). I was confused at first, but then I read the product description which explained that the high ceramide content makes the texture firmer. I had to use the spatula to scoop out the cream. They advise not to use too much, so I used about half the amount of moisturizer I'd normally use in winter. It's hard to quantify exactly (I should have weighed it!), but I'd say one rounded scoop with the spatula is enough. I tried rubbing it between my hands at first, but quickly realized why they say not to do that - too much gets absorbed into your hands! Now I just apply it directly to my face and blend it in. It reminds me of those trendy multi-care sticks, but you're using a spatula instead. You know how you scrape the last bits of lip balm out of the tube? It's kind of like that, but it's not greasy at all! At first it feels a bit clumpy, but as you blend it in with the warmth of your skin, it spreads evenly. After applying, my skin feels very matte - not exactly dry, but definitely not dewy or glowy. However, it does feel moisturized and supple to the touch. While it looks quite matte, it doesn't feel tight or uncomfortable at all. I sometimes add a bit of face oil on wrinkle-prone areas before bed, but honestly, most nights I forget and it's totally fine. I wake up without any dryness, even though my skin still looks matte. It's definitely a unique product, but the important thing is my skin never feels dry!
ConsThe main drawback is definitely the texture. It's pretty difficult to use without the spatula, and it feels quite stiff when you're applying it. But since this is due to the high concentration of beneficial ingredients, I'm not sure it needs to be changed. It might be polarizing, but ceramide enthusiasts will probably find a way to make it work. Once you get used to it, it's not really a problem. Perhaps they could emphasize the benefits of ceramides more in their marketing. For example, they could explain how ceramides are naturally present in the skin's outer layer, helping to strengthen cell bonds, which makes it great for people with wrinkles or even atopic dermatitis. Some specific examples like that might help!
TipUse the spatula to scoop out a small amount (you don't need much - it might take a few tries to figure out the right amount to cover your whole face). Then, as if you were applying a thick lip balm, rub the cream directly onto your face in small areas. It might feel stiff at first, but as you blend it in, your skin's warmth will help it spread more easily.

Noticeably improves skin texture and smooths out uneven areas 2. Absolutely no oiliness, leaves skin feeling fresh (even less greasy than serums) 3. After using this product overnight, skin feels firm and resilient during cleansing, rather than just soft (a completely different sensation compared to other skincare products) 4. Visibly reduces redness from acne scars and other blemishes 5. Almost fragrance-free, making it suitable for everyone
Cons1. Worst absorption among over 100 cosmetics I've tried... Extremely thick and difficult to spread. About 3 times as stiff as mineral sunscreen. Takes a long time to apply. Despite this, its benefits outweigh the application issues, hence the 5-star rating! 2. Somewhat pricey
TipBe careful not to apply too much, as excess product won't fully absorb into the skin and may pill off when touched, similar to dead skin cells

The texture is quite firm, reminiscent of butter straight from the fridge. You need to scoop it out with a spatula. Despite its stiff appearance, it melts into the skin effortlessly, like butter on warm bread. When applied, it doesn't feel sticky, but rather matte - slightly more luminous than a primer. While it has a rich feel, it doesn't come across as greasy. After application, my skin feels well-hydrated without any dryness. Though I've only used it for about ten days, so there weren't any dramatic changes, I could feel sufficient hydration without excess shine. I think it might even help control oil production a bit - I noticed less oiliness in the morning after applying it at night. A little goes a long way, making it quite efficient. I'm considering repurchasing after I finish this jar if it continues to impress me.
ConsDue to its firm texture, it doesn't spread as easily as other moisturizers. It's not that it doesn't apply, but it requires more effort compared to other products. Sometimes, if you try to apply it directly from the spatula to your face, it can slip off. To combat this, I've been transferring it to my hands first, then applying it to my face in small amounts. The description mentions that the high ceramide content is responsible for the stiff texture, but I wish they could develop an easier application method.
TipI apply this product as the final step in my routine. I've noticed it seems to spread more easily when applied over toner or emulsion rather than on bare skin, probably because the skin is already slightly slick.

Just reading that, you can tell how delicate my skin is, right? 😢 I really can't use just anything on my skin, but since this product has no allergy-triggering ingredients and has a clean formula, I applied to be a Hwahae Tester and gave it a try. ✔️ It works even better when mixed with other products rather than used alone on the face. (I've included this tip in the tips section, so check it out if you want to try it! 😊) ✔️ You might think the amount is small, but since it's a balm-type product, you only need to use a little at a time, so it doesn't run out quickly. ✔️ Even for dry skin, it doesn't feel very oily. In my opinion, it could work for combination skin too. If you have oily skin but experience dryness in winter, you could use a tiny amount on dry areas.
Cons📌 Application: Being a balm, it's very thick. It's not an easy product to use. In winter, the product doesn't melt easily. 📌 Moisturizing power: Since it's not very oily, it might not be enough for the winter + dry skin combination!
TipI mixed it with a thin emulsion and the balm. (I usually use Illiyoon emulsion, so I mixed it with that.) Also, as mentioned in the instructions, it works well when applied to damp skin. Lock in the moisture and then apply a small amount to your face, melting it with the heat from your palms!

It's packed with ceramides and other ingredients that help with moisture. A small amount provides sufficient hydration. After application, it feels truly velvety without any stickiness or tackiness. It's like creating a protective barrier as the final step in your skincare routine.
ConsFor someone with very dry skin like me, the absorption is disappointing. It has a waxy, stiff texture that clumps together and doesn't spread well. When I apply makeup over it, it pills and clumps up, coming off like dead skin cells. In the morning when I wash my face, I'm not sure if I can feel the hydrating effect.
TipI recommend using it as directed - scoop it with a spatula and apply it immediately while your skin is still damp. It's best to use small amounts in multiple layers for optimal results.

Even slight pressure causes redness, and when dry, it feels tingly. *Hydration Being a balm-type product, I didn't feel dry even without applying multiple products. Just using toner, ampoule, and this cera-balm is enough to withstand the winter winds. *Finish It leaves my face feeling like it's coated with a protective layer. It's not greasy but feels like it adheres well to the skin. *Soothing When I apply this product, my skin doesn't feel tingly due to its excellent hydration. However, I'll need to use it longer to see if it helps with redness reduction. Though it seems like the redness might have decreased a bit?
Cons*Texture It feels a bit stiff when applying. There's some friction with the skin, which causes redness. Of course, the redness from friction subsides quickly. If you don't properly prep your skin before applying the cera-balm, it can be difficult to spread. *Price Almost 90,000 won... It's expensive
TipThe instructions say that applying a small amount is better for the skin. For the whole face, you only need about half a fingernail's worth. It's pricey, but it seems like it will last a long time

It's a cream unlike anything I've experienced before. It's incredibly thick, but once you apply it to your face, it provides intense hydration that matches its rich texture. The moisturizing effect isn't greasy at all; instead, it feels like a firm, plumping layer on your skin. It's a wonderfully pleasant kind of hydration that doesn't feel oily in the slightest. Looking in the mirror, your skin appears matte, but when you touch it, it's surprisingly moisturized. I'm writing this review feeling great about this unique sensation! After waking up, my skin feels even more delightfully hydrated. You really have to try this product to understand - it's truly amazing!
ConsThere are definitely some drawbacks, but the overall experience and effects make me willing to overlook them. The application can be a bit challenging. You need to massage it in with several motions to help it absorb, and due to its very thick consistency, it doesn't spread easily. However, because it gives such a clear feeling of improving your skin, I can work with these minor issues.
TipYou can overcome the drawbacks by mixing it with a slightly thinner moisturizer!
