As someone with extremely oily skin and excess sebum, I was really pleased with how well this product calmed my skin. This foam cleanser is amazing! I typically have surface dryness and deep dryness, but wow. Though I don't have a photo to show, after using my makeup cleansing oil, I tried this foam cleanser sample. It left my skin feeling incredibly clean and refreshed. The scent isn't overpowering either, so it should be suitable even for those with super sensitive skin. I ordered this because I was curious to try a vegan product. It doesn't cause any blemishes and keeps my skin nicely hydrated. This toner has a transparent, water-like texture that glides on smoothly. I loved how it feels refreshing and hydrating without any slippery residue. Its non-sticky, water-based formula makes it perfect for use as an exfoliating toner. For some reason, it didn't quite agree with my skin and I felt a slight tingling sensation when I first used it. I ended up using another toner for additional exfoliation. Although it's marketed as a sebum-controlling toner, I expected it to have a more matte finish and better oil control, but that wasn't really the case.

It's a watery toner with almost no scent. When applied with a cotton pad, it effectively controlled excess oil. I started using this hoping it would improve my sebum production, but it was much more drying than expected. I have oily skin with a lot of sebum, so I used it by soaking a cotton pad and wiping when my skin felt oily. However, it made my skin feel more parched than if I hadn't applied anything after cleansing. Instead of a fresh finish, my skin felt tight and uncomfortable. I ended up rinsing it off with water after wiping.

So I tend to use lightweight formulas. At first glance, I thought this one looked similar to other watery toners, but when it touched my skin, it felt like a hybrid between a watery toner and an essence. I loved that even with just the toner, I didn't quickly feel any deep dryness or dehydration! As for the packaging, the button-style cap is not only easy to use, but it also minimizes air exposure, which helps keep the product clean. I also appreciated that it's a vegan product, showing they've put a lot of thought into environmental concerns. The main drawback is the distinct rice scent that's noticeable every time you use it. Those who are sensitive to fragrances might not be too fond of this. As someone who usually uses almost fragrance-free products, I found the scent more irritating than any actual irritation from the product itself. Other than that, I didn't have any particular complaints.
