Pros
Even though I have dry and atopic skin, there were no troubles or dryness! The fragrance was just like the scent of rice, and it was very suitable for cleansing and applying as a 3-step skin care product. ☺️
Cons
The disappointing part was the packaging. 🥲,, The design is really cute and pretty, but every time I used it, a drop would flow down the container. Even though I tried to use it neatly with cotton pads, it kept dripping, which was a bit inconvenient.

This is a review from the Hwahae Trial Reviewer. I received the product on 9/20 and have been using it for about a week. First, my skin type is dry-combination. I was considering changing my moisturizing products for the seasonal change, and that's when I started using this product. The texture is completely transparent and watery. The fragrance is barely noticeable, not completely absent but hardly perceptible. Unless you're extremely sensitive to scents, you'll barely notice it while using it. Overall, it feels just right for cleansing or using as a facial pack! The packaging has a transparent bottom to see the product amount, and the cap pops up when pressed on one side, a common design for shampoo bottles. The volume is 200ml, and the elongated bottle shape makes it look like there's even more product. After using it generously for a week, it seems I've used about two finger-widths worth. Normally, I cleanse with a foam cleanser in the morning and evening, then wipe with a cotton pad and toner. Lately, I've been using the Witch** Bifida, Seed* Green* Toner. After using this product for a week, there haven't been any noticeable changes, but I've been using it without any issues. And I was really satisfied with using this product as a facial pack! When I soaked a cotton pad with it and placed it on the areas that were irritated and reddened, there was a visible soothing effect! It's amazing! My skin used to be dry, then oily. I don't like the greasy, heavy feeling after applying the cream, so there are times when I don't use it. But when I don't use the cream, my skin gets dry again, so I have to apply it. As soon as the skin care arrived (September 21st), I showered and patted it on right away, and it didn't dry out for about 3 hours! So I just went to bed without even applying the cream. 🧴The next morning, there were no blemishes, and my skin was still moisturized from the day before. 🧴The best part is that the toner is moisturizing yet lightweight. So even after applying the cream, it doesn't feel heavy or greasy.

At first, I was worried about the oiliness because I have a dry skin type! But it absorbs really well without any dryness afterwards, and there was no oiliness the next day either, which was great! As a toner, it applies smoothly as expected, and the moisturizing effect is amazing - there's no tightness at all. I was hesitant about the product because I had a lot of breakouts from using the wrong cleansing foam, but wow, this toner is amazing - no slippery feeling at all, it's the best! If I finish this bottle, I'll definitely buy this toner again!! And the case is really special - when you press one side, it opens up and allows you to control the amount of toner you use. Most toners I've used don't have this feature, so you end up using it up quickly, but this is really great! And the design is so cute too.

If I had to pick one, it would be the hydration. The toner I used before was just enough to smooth out my skin texture before moving on to the lotion, but this toner adds hydration on top of that. Just applying the toner alone makes my skin feel already supple, and the hydration doesn't feel heavy or sticky, which is surprisingly not burdensome, and keeps me reaching for it. And another thing I'd pick is the design and fragrance that are true to the concept! When I first opened the product, the design reminded me of Japanese sake. The name 'rice toner' matched the concept well. And the scent is a subtle rice fragrance, like a slightly fermented rice aroma. That fragrance is so natural and gentle that it's not unpleasant or burdensome. Even those sensitive to fragrances could use this without any issues.
Cons
I didn't really notice any downsides. If I had to nitpick, the volume might be a bit small for a toner that I use twice a day or more.
