As vegan products are the trend these days, I had high expectations for this product as well! Here's a 1-week review during my business trip abroad. 1. Fragrance The natural, refreshing fragrance made me feel good from the moment I first squeezed it out. Products with mixed fragrances can sometimes cause allergies, but this one didn't, which was great. 2. Texture The more I gently patted the right amount onto my face, the more my skin felt brightened. I was worried the watery formula wouldn't be moisturizing enough, but even after cleansing, there was minimal irritation. When I used it as a 5-minute pack by soaking a 5-ply cotton pad, my skin became moisturized without feeling dry. 3. Skin Improvement During my business trip abroad, my skin went through a lot of changes, but using this toner as a 5-minute pack before bed helped soothe my skin a lot the next day!

Skin Type: Dry U-Zone / Slightly Oily T-Zone Usage Period: September 23 - September 29 (7 days) While I didn't see dramatic effects after using it for a week, this is a sufficiently excellent toner. First, I cleanse my face with a cleansing milk and wipe it off with a cotton pad, so I only applied the absorption toner to minimize irritation. @Texture: A fully flowing water toner @Scent: A soft, faint scent that I liked. Not an irritating fragrance @Spreadability: Although it's a water toner, I felt my skin became smooth and supple after absorbing it. Pros
There were about 4 good points: First, the fragrance was not burdensome and felt natural. Second, the formula was not like water that evaporates and disappears, but rather it remained moisturized on the skin after application. This was good for the cooler seasons, and in my case, since my skin is not oily, I layered this toner about twice, so the moisture was already satisfied, and I just finished with a light cream on top. I would recommend those with oily skin to apply it lightly and then follow up with a cream. Third, I felt that my skin texture improved! After using it for about a week, the texture became very smooth. When I woke up the next day after applying it at night, my skin felt baby-soft, as if the dead skin had been gently exfoliated. Lastly, the ingredients seem gentle. I used this during the time of the month when my skin was very sensitive, but there were no issues at all!

The smell was initially satisfactory - it had a clean and unburdensome fragrance. After applying it for a few days with cotton pads and then wiping it off with my hands, I could feel my skin becoming much softer. I don't usually have many blemishes, but I definitely felt that this was a gentler product, with my skin appearing more refined. If I had to pick one, it would be the hydration. The toner I used before was just enough to smooth out my skin texture before moving on to the lotion, but this toner adds hydration on top of that. Just applying the toner alone makes my skin feel already supple, and the hydration doesn't feel heavy or sticky, which is surprisingly not burdensome, and keeps me reaching for it. And another thing I'd pick is the design and fragrance that are true to the concept! When I first opened the product, the design reminded me of Japanese sake. The name 'rice toner' matched the concept well. And the scent is a subtle rice fragrance, like a slightly fermented rice aroma. That fragrance is so natural and gentle that it's not unpleasant or burdensome. Even those sensitive to fragrances could use this without any issues.
