The texture is just the right consistency, not too runny for what I wanted. When I first applied it, there was some white cloudiness, but after rubbing it in, it absorbed completely. You don't even need to use a separate body oil with this - it works great on its own. It's an excellent adult body lotion, and really keeps my dry shins moisturized all day long.
