✓ Gentle ingredients safe for both pregnant women and babies! ✓ Fragrance-free, which I've used since pregnancy. It provides sufficient hydration for dry areas like legs and face. ✓ As someone with oily skin, I find the texture slightly heavy and creamy for facial use in summer. Currently, I'm applying it mainly to dry areas like legs, hands, and feet. ✓ Despite the emulsion appearing rich, it actually absorbs well into the skin! It can feel a bit greasy and heavy for those with oily skin. For those with extremely dry skin, it might not be moisturizing enough in winter. If you have oily skin, apply this to dry areas only. For those with very dry skin, consider mixing it with other products for better results! - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedApr 18, 2024
The texture isn't too thin, making it excellent for dry skin. It provides ample hydration during the winter months. While it suits my skin well, it doesn't seem to have much effect on my baby's sensitive skin, even when applied generously. I mainly use other products and keep this one as a backup. - iw****Normal SkinMar 28, 2024
There's absolutely nothing positive to say. It caused blemishes so severe I had to visit the doctor. It was a complete disaster. I bought this as a body emulsion for my baby because it was supposed to have good ingredients, but it caused a severe rash all over the body, leading to a lot of suffering. At first, I wasn't sure, but when I stopped using it, things improved, and when I applied it again, the rash reappeared all over. The itching was so bad that my baby kept scratching, forcing us to visit the hospital. When I contacted the seller, they insisted there were no rash-inducing ingredients, but I don't know how they can be so confident. What about all those people on Hwahae reporting skin issues from products supposedly free of problematic ingredients? I question whether they truly understand cosmetics when responding to customers. Their defensive response asking if we ate something wrong shows a lack of basic customer service. They suggested that if it doesn't suit the baby, parents could use it, but I'm very uncomfortable with that idea. My baby had to go to the hospital and apply steroid ointment all over. If they had any conscience, shouldn't they at least refund the product? Even if it didn't cause a rash, another drawback is that it doesn't absorb properly, leaving a white residue like sunscreen. Do they expect babies to wait until it's fully absorbed? It's not a good product for applying on babies. The photo below shows the scabs after the rash subsided. Tiny, red, bumpy rashes appeared all over the body, and some areas were scratched to the point of injury. The face was the only area spared from the rash, thanks to using a different cream there. - he******Dry SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedMar 7, 2024
Great hydration! It's fragrance-free and gentle, so both babies and adults can use it comfortably. The absorption is painfully slow. It feels like it takes forever to sink into the skin. - te*********Dry SkinAtopic SkinInner DrynessDead Skin CellsFeb 23, 2024
The only positive thing was the good price for the amount. I wanted to give it 1 star, but I held back. I barely gave it 2 stars because of the price and customer service. I bought this after seeing it on the Mom's Guide app. Was it just another advertisement? This emulsion is the number one reason I came back to Hwahae. Don't believe the Mom's Guide Clean Mark ads. It's not even an accredited institution - I feel foolish for trusting it. The hydration is severely lacking. I can accept the slow absorption since it's a natural cosmetic, but the moisturizing power is really non-existent. It's even less hydrating than my husband's emulsion, so how could it be effective for a baby? And they claim it has centella extract, but why does it worsen irritation instead of soothing? I'm posting a photo of my child's skin reaction. Are you sure you actually included centella extract? Not recommended for children with dry skin - ah*****Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedJan 25, 2024
The ingredients are gentle. It's moisturizing and fragrance-free, so it's not off-putting at all. It leaves a white cast when applied, so you need to rub it in quite a bit. It can be a bit challenging to apply when my child is moving around. It's easier to apply when mixed with a soothing gel. - so******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 19, 2024
I bought this primarily for its great ingredients, and I love that it's fragrance-free. It absorbs well into the skin! Plus, the pump bottle makes it so convenient to use. There's a bit of a white cast, so you need to spend some time rubbing it in. For those with dry skin, the hydration might be slightly lacking during the winter months. - tj********Dry SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRednessRecommendedDec 24, 2023
This is a moisturizing emulsion with clean ingredients at a great price. Both my 2-year-old and I use it together. It's perfect for applying on the baby's face and body without distinction. While there aren't any real downsides, due to its good ingredients, it doesn't absorb instantly upon application. Just pat it in gently and it works well! If you feel this isn't quite enough for your little one's skin in the depths of winter, try adding some jojoba oil for extra nourishment. - li******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedDec 24, 2023
I trust and use this product because it definitely has good ingredients. My skin feels much calmer now. The absorption is really poor. It doesn't absorb well, and you have to wait quite a while before putting on clothes after applying it. - se******Oily SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 19, 2023
Although it's a baby product, I bought it for myself as a pregnant woman. Since becoming pregnant, I've been more conscious of cosmetic ingredients, so I wanted to use something gentle and fragrance-free. It's unscented, absorbs well, and is gentle on the skin. I'm happily using my second tube! Using this product alone might not provide enough hydration, especially during winter. It seems a bit lacking in moisturizing power!
