The body emulsion comes in a pump bottle, which is great for applying right after a shower. It's perfect for my elementary school-aged daughter who can now apply it herself. The consistency isn't too thick, making it easy to spread. It's not too heavy, which could be difficult for a child to apply, but instead glides on smoothly with a hydrating feel. What I really appreciated was that despite the dry winter season when we usually prefer stickier but more moisturizing body emulsions, my daughter, who typically scratches due to dry skin, experienced less scabbing from nighttime scratching. Surprisingly, this body emulsion absorbs well without leaving a sticky residue, so there's no unpleasant feeling when putting on clothes afterwards. Being interested in ingredients, I noticed it contains jojoba seed, sunflower seed, argan kernel, and macadamia seed oils, which help balance skin's oil and moisture levels in dry winter months. The shea butter helps prevent moisture loss, promising good hydration. The all-green ingredient list makes it suitable for children too.
ConsThe downside is that the quantity seems small for the price. Body emulsions tend to be used generously, so it might run out quickly. Also, it requires a bit of rubbing in when applying. Initially, it leaves a white cast, but becomes transparent after spreading it a few times.
TipIt also works well as a hand cream. For extra moisture, mixing it with body oil creates a synergistic effect for intense hydration. The second photo shows the initial white appearance when applied, but this disappears completely after rubbing it in a few times. My child really likes the pump bottle format as it's easy for her to use.
