While using this, I felt it was similar to the Torriden Dive-In Serum. Turns out 73% of the ingredients match! For a brand I'd never heard of before, the hydration is really impressive. I didn't experience any blemishes, but I was disappointed to discover I'd bought a product with a short shelf life without realizing it. I'll probably use it all up by the end of summer... Even with discounts, it's not exactly a value-for-money product! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJun 18, 2023
I received this as part of an event and I'm sorry for posting my review so late! I highly recommend it for its amazing hydration. It's just as good as any hyaluronic acid ampoule! I wasn't familiar with the brand, but I've been using it so well that I had to leave a review, even if it's a bit late! There wasn't anything to dislike! Even the packaging is cute, which made me reach for it more often! Here's a pro tip: if you use this ampoule before applying a sheet mask, you'll get an extra boost of hydration! It works wonders for your daily mask routine. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 23, 2023
After my evening cleanse and toner, I layered this product twice before finishing with serum and cream. My skin felt hydrated without any tightness - I'm really satisfied with the moisture level! There was no dryness or tightness even by morning, so the oil-moisture balance and lasting power were great. As I have sensitive skin, I always use products that support my skin barrier in my evening routine. I added the Anua Tightening Ampoule to my nighttime essence/ampoule step because it contains copper tripeptide, which is said to help damaged skin. The texture is watery, but it leaves a nice firm feeling on the skin with a slightly slick surface. Being super sensitive and reactive, I felt a tiny bit of irritation. It has a coconut scent, which wasn't really my cup of tea! My skin was fine before use, but after just one application, I was shocked to find a huge blemish on my forehead... This happened even though my cleansing and basic routine were exactly the same as usual. The ingredients seem good, so I'm not sure what didn't agree with my skin. I like that the container is transparent so you can see the contents. However, it's chubbier than typical ampoules and the dropper is short, which left me wanting more with each use. A longer dropper would make it more convenient to use. The artificial fragrance was a no-go for me. I think this would be great for layering multiple times during seasonal changes or in winter when skin gets extremely dry. It's not too heavy for summer use either, so it seems versatile for year-round use. I was satisfied with the price for the amount you get and the hydration level. However, as someone with sensitive skin who's very picky about cleansing and skincare products, I'm hesitant to purchase due to the irritation and blemishes it caused. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMay 23, 2023
I really liked that this product isn't too heavy, nor does it run like water. It has just the right consistency for easy application. As someone with dry skin, I always stressed about my makeup looking flaky, but after using this generously at night after cleansing and lightly in the morning, my makeup looks much smoother. It definitely seems to impact hydration levels! I've been worried lately about whether my base products or my skin was the problem, as my makeup wasn't sitting well. I'm so grateful this seems to have solved the issue! The fragrance-free formula didn't cause any discomfort, and despite my skin being prone to blemishes when products don't suit me, this one worked perfectly without any issues. I think I'll keep purchasing this in the future! If you apply a bit too much, it can pill slightly, almost like dead skin cells. You'll need to be careful with the amount you use! To be honest, there's not really anything else to complain about... just pay attention to how much you're applying. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 23, 2023
[For sensitive, oily skin] - Extremely lightweight formula that flows like water, making it incredibly light - Works wonders for blemishes - my breakouts calmed down overnight after applying this - The container isn't too big, so it's convenient to carry around - Provides a decent amount of hydration - Fragrance-free, so it doesn't cause any aversion - A gentle product that didn't cause irritation or tingling, even on my super sensitive skin - Feels cooling when applied and gives a soothing sensation - Despite being a hydrating ampoule, it doesn't provide a strong feeling of moisture after application - After absorption, there's a slight oily film left behind, leaving a somewhat greasy finish - The small size of the container makes opening the lid a bit inconvenient - Absorption isn't particularly fast - Layering it multiple times can lead to pilling The slightly oily finish might be great for those with dry skin who need a bit of extra richness! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMay 22, 2023
I have combination skin that's dry on my cheeks and chin. I saw this on social media and wanted to try it, so I was thrilled to be selected for The Hwahae Testers! It's an ampoule that can really tackle deep dryness. Texture: Very fluid and flows easily. Scent: Doesn't seem to have added fragrance. There's a slight scent, but it's close to unscented. Experience: Absorbs well and quickly. When you apply it, you can feel the hydration reaching deep into your skin. It also has a cooling effect that could be great for soothing. Ingredients: No concerning ingredients at all, completely gentle. I didn't experience any blemishes. Packaging: The packaging is so pretty! The bottle is beautiful, and even the color of the ampoule itself is lovely. There's not really anything negative to say. If I had to nitpick, while the bottle is pretty, it's quite wide and takes up a bit of space. This would be great for combination dehydrated skin or dry skin types. If you have deep dryness, give it a try. I used it like a mask by applying it with a cotton pad on my cheeks - it cooled down my skin, left it moisturized, and felt great. - Hwahae UserDry SkinMay 22, 2023
I have sensitive and dry skin. The lightweight formula makes it comfortable to use both morning and night. It's even more fluid than a runny toner, which makes it great for layering multiple times. Despite its watery consistency, I was pleasantly surprised by how well it balanced both oil and moisture when layered. Being fragrance-free, it's perfect for someone like me who's sensitive to cosmetic scents. I also appreciate the transparent packaging, which makes it easy to see how much product is left. If you have dry skin, you might find that a single application doesn't provide enough oil and moisture balance. It works well when layered as part of your nighttime skincare routine. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 22, 2023
My skin type isn't prone to sudden breakouts, but it seems like as soon as one blemish disappears, another pops up! My T-zone is oily while my cheeks are dry. The tricky part is that if I apply something too moisturizing, I break out... It's like, what am I supposed to do? That's the kind of skin I have! I really liked that the ingredients are great and gentle on the skin! I was worried it might be drying, but it turned out to be quite hydrating! While this product doesn't seem to cause blemishes, I did notice fewer breakouts compared to my previous skincare routine. However, strangely enough, when I apply this ampoule, the butterfly zone of my face feels somewhat uneven. I'm not sure if this means it doesn't suit my skin or what - it's a bit ambiguous. I think I need to use it for a longer period to really tell. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 22, 2023
This is a review from The Hwahae Testers. I had to write this again as my first review didn't save as a tester review and got deleted. I'll try to recall my genuine experience as best I can. I can confidently say I've used it for quite a while, as I usually leave reviews on the last day of testing. Although I have oily skin, I've noticed that over time, my skin doesn't get as greasy. This product keeps my skin deeply hydrated! When I first received it, I thought, 'Huh? Is this a serum?' The texture is quite runny, like a toner, so I wasn't sure if it would feel like a serum when applied. I read that it's best to apply multiple layers, so after cleansing and toning, I layered it on. It felt nicely moisturizing and made my skin softer! I'm happy to report that I didn't experience any blemishes while using this product. It doesn't seem to have a noticeable scent. I tried to detect one, but couldn't really smell anything! Overall, I'd say this is more of a summer!! light!! hydrating!! friend rather than a winter!! intense moisturizing!! one. (Sigh... I lost my 30-minute review and had to rewrite it, feeling a bit deflated. I can't remember all the details, so some points might be missing. When I clicked 'Write Review' from the event winner's page, it defaulted to a regular review. Selecting the product again should have switched it to a tester review, but I couldn't use what I'd written before. If anyone sees this, please fix this issue.) One downside is that the dropper might not reach all the way to the bottom of the bottle (though this might just be my imagination). I guess I could pour it out when it gets low? Those expecting a thick, rich serum texture might be disappointed. I found myself thinking that one application wasn't quite enough, but applying more made me worry I'd use it up too quickly! Apply multiple layers for maximum hydration! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMay 22, 2023
Skin type: #21 Dry Feel: The texture is like water, flowing smoothly as soon as you squeeze it out. The product is transparent and fragrance-free. It absorbs lightly while providing rich hydration. It works well as a base for makeup, with no pilling or caking. While it might feel a bit dry in winter, it should be great for spring, summer, and fall. As the weather's getting warmer, I've been looking for a lightweight product that still packs a hydration punch, and this fits the bill. There's no irritation or blemishes, so even with my super sensitive skin, I find myself reaching for it often. If I had to point out a drawback, when using it for night care, you need to layer it about 3 times to get that plump hydration. However, even with multiple layers, it absorbs well and doesn't cause the next step in your routine to pill. The fact that it absorbs without interfering with subsequent products is definitely a plus. Depending on your skin condition and intended use, layering it two or three times can make this a moisturizing serum suitable for combination dehydrated skin, combination, and dry skin types. It also works well under makeup, so I recommend using it before applying cosmetics.
