As someone with extremely dry skin, I find this absorbs well. The soothing effect seems pretty good too. I'm not sure if it's because of the increasingly hot weather, but I've broken out in blemishes all over. I didn't have any skin issues before, but after using this product, blemishes appeared. For those with extremely dry skin like me, it still feels dry even when applied in summer. It's worth noting that skin reactions can vary greatly from person to person, especially with changing seasons. What works well for some may not suit others, particularly those with sensitive or very dry skin. Always patch test new products and consult a dermatologist if you experience persistent skin issues. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 5, 2025
The texture is light and easy to apply, making it a pleasure to use. It absorbs well and spreads nicely on the skin. Overall, it feels like a decent gel cream. When used alone, it felt a bit drying. I'm not sure if the natural ingredients didn't agree with my skin, but it caused some itching. To make matters worse, I developed blemishes, so I had to stop using it. If it had suited my skin, I probably would have used it year-round, except in winter. It's a shame it didn't work out. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 21, 2025
It absorbs well and feels hydrating. It quickly sinks into the skin, so I recommend it for those who don't like feeling like they have something on their skin. Also great for those with dry skin! I didn't notice much effect on blemish soothing. Perhaps because I have super sensitive skin, it actually caused some small bumps to appear. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinApr 19, 2025
I bought this early last year and still haven't used it all up. When I wipe with the embossed side, it really helps remove dead skin cells effectively. The formula isn't watery, so it seemed to work well under makeup too. I'd recommend this for those whose main skin concern is exfoliation, without other major skin issues. It caused a lot of blemishes, and my skin didn't seem to agree with it. The next day, I noticed a significant increase in redness. I wouldn't recommend this for acne-prone or super sensitive skin. It's more of an exfoliating toner than a pack! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinMar 3, 2025
I tried this as a sample and loved the scent. It seemed to provide good hydration and left my skin feeling moisturized. Unfortunately, it didn't agree with my skin and caused more blemishes. Even though I don't have sensitive skin, it irritated mine. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 23, 2025
It absorbs well and has great application. After applying, it's not sticky at all and gets absorbed nicely into the skin. Ugh, after using this, red blemishes that I hadn't seen in years exploded on my forehead. I even got blemishes beside my nose and under my eyes. So disappointing! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 6, 2025
The scent is lovely, and everything about it seems great. It applies smoothly and evenly. Personally, I noticed I got blemishes when using this. I'm not sure if it's because of this product, though. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 6, 2025
My skin type suddenly changed to combination. This cream seems to address deep dryness well. It absorbs well and is gentle on the skin. After applying this cream, I noticed a severe breakout of blemishes, particularly in my T-zone. As a result, I've stopped using it. Additionally, the spatula-like applicator is too large, making storage difficult. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJan 29, 2025
As I've gotten older, my oily skin seems to have become combination. Still, I occasionally get acne and blemishes. My friend uses Torimide's soothing cream, and it seemed gentle, so I bought the cica version. For convenience, I scoop it up with my fingers. It has a pudding-like texture but feels fresh when applied, not sticky at all. I haven't had any special breakouts. In winter, using just the cream might feel a bit dry, but it's fine when I use it with the ampoule from the same line. My skin is somewhat sensitive, so I'm planning to stick with this product for a while since it doesn't cause acne, isn't sticky, feels fresh, and would be perfect if it weren't for the price being a bit burdensome for long-term use. The jar packaging is a bit disappointing hygiene-wise; I think a tube would be better. There's a blue basic line, but when I bought it, the cica version only came in a jar. Not sure if that's changed now. Oh, and after using the 🥕 pads from SkinFD, followed by Torimide's cica ampoule and cream, my face got itchy and swollen with red patches all over, like mosquito bites. I immediately washed it off and used an ice pack, which calmed it down. Since then, I've stopped using the carrot pads and switched to the blue pads from MediH. I've had no issues when using the blue square pads. I recommend switching to the tube version when it becomes available. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 29, 2024
I have combination dehydrated super sensitive skin. My T-zone gets oily and shiny, while my U-zone is dry (with redness, blemishes, and uneven texture - it's a total mess!). This cream has a lightweight texture that doesn't feel heavy. It absorbs well and helps reduce redness. Itchiness from the jar packaging, rich texture, sticky feeling... Those with sensitive skin should avoid this. I tried to calm my small bumps, but it made them worse. It absorbs quickly but evaporates too soon. Something doesn't agree with my skin - it's a bumpy party! While it does reduce redness, it causes small bumps to appear. It seems a bit... lacking for winter use.
