I loved how the stickiness disappeared quickly after application. Plus, it absorbs really well. It would have been easier to use if it came in a squeeze tube. The built-in applicator is a bit disappointing. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 25, 2024
As someone with super sensitive skin, this product is truly a perfect match. It calms my skin quickly, and the hydration and absorption are excellent. I'm definitely planning to repurchase when I run out. For me, there aren't really any downsides to the product itself. However, I find it disappointing that the included applicator is larger than the container, which makes it easy to misplace. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMay 19, 2024
I'll be honest in my review. Skin type: Sensitive and dry My skin tends to break out with blemishes when using just any product. I have thin skin where you can see the blood vessels. I experience temperature-induced redness (that's what I call it) where my face turns red when it's hot, making me even more sensitive to temperature changes. = In short, I have weak skin barrier. I always check, compare, and analyze ingredients when choosing products. (Of course, when I'm tired or really want to try something, I sometimes buy without checking.) 1. Ingredients As mentioned, my skin can't handle just any product. I was very satisfied with the ingredients in this cica cream. Not only did it contain ingredients I like, but it also didn't have any that I dislike or that usually cause blemishes for me. This is something only you can know about your own skin. And this product's ingredient list didn't have any of those problematic ones. That's why I liked it. 2. Hydration When I first opened the product, my immediate thought was 'It looks like water droplets.' The texture visibly showed its moisturizing properties, which naturally raised my expectations. To describe how it feels on the skin, imagine a smoothie pudding. It's like a 30% smoothie, 70% pudding texture. 3. Non-sticky, Absorbs well Many moisturizing products can feel sticky and unpleasant, but Tosowoong's cream isn't sticky at all, which I'm very happy about. Since it doesn't feel sticky on the skin, I can apply it anytime, regardless of the situation or time of day, which is great. I used to think that cica products wouldn't be sticky, but that's not always the case. I learned this after trying various products, and I think it's a testament to the technology behind this one. 1. Spatula It's too thick. The size isn't an issue, but the thickness is problematic. The purpose is to easily scoop out the cream, but the cream is runny and the spatula is thick, so when you try to scoop it, it just falls off. This leads to using more product and wasting time, making me think it might be better to just apply with my hands. It's the first time I've had an issue with a spatula. 2. Dryness This contradicts point 2 in the positives. I mentioned it was moisturizing, but dryness? Yes, it's there. Being sensitive, I notice it easily. After applying it to my skin and waiting for a while - not too long, maybe about 20 minutes? Could be less - it starts to feel dry. To describe the sensation, it's like there's a film on my skin, and when I move my facial muscles, it feels like this film is cracking. It seems like this product is targeted towards oily skin. While acne-prone and sensitive skin types can vary, I don't think this is suitable for dry skin. Emulsion creams can work differently for everyone, but I don't think this product is right for dry or sensitive skin types. Hydration is crucial for these skin types. This product would likely work well for skin types other than dry. For those with dry skin, try mixing it with a hydrating product! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMay 15, 2024
I love how refreshing it feels. I'm on my third bottle now. Since it's quite thick, I use it as an exfoliating toner and then leave it on as a mask. The applicator is a bit flimsy. It's actually easier to grip with my fingernails. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinOct 10, 2023
When applied, this hydrating cream had an emulsion-like texture. As it's a soothing cream, there was a subtle cica scent. The complimentary spoon that came with it kept falling off, and being transparent, I ended up misplacing it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMar 6, 2023
It has a bouncy, pudding-like texture with excellent hydration and soothing properties The spatula isn't built-in, so it's a bit inconvenient having to store it separately - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 3, 2023
After trying the Balance Full Cica Soothing Serum, I loved it so much that I decided to buy the cream too! As someone with super sensitive skin, I've been searching for soothing skincare products, and this one's name says it all - Soothing Cream! It's not too rich but still provides great hydration, which I absolutely love. While I really appreciate the inclusion of a spatula, it's a bit disappointing that it's not built-in, making storage a bit tricky. I suppose that's unavoidable with jar-type products though... If you apply a bit more of this cream at night than you would during the day, you'll wake up with a glowing complexion in the morning! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinFeb 20, 2023
The hydration power was excellent. I applied it as the final step of my evening skincare routine, thinking of it as a protective layer. When I woke up in the morning, my skin felt firm and supple, which was very satisfying. The stick isn't built into the container, making it difficult to store and inconvenient to clean after each use. The slippery texture also makes it challenging to apply without it sliding off. It seems the packaging needs improvement. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 17, 2022
The green color of the container seems well-chosen for a cica soothing moisturizer. The gel-cream texture feels hydrating and moisturizing. It works well for combination dehydrated skin prone to blemishes. I'll need to use it more to be sure, but I'm looking forward to continuing with this product! The spatula is larger than the container, making storage awkward. It can't be stored separately, and while it might be used initially, it's likely to get lost or discarded as you continue using the product.
