For combination dehydrated skin and blemish-prone skin: This was a decent moisturizer. Despite my acne-prone skin, I used it without any sudden breakouts. It's affordable, yet the quality is impressive for the price. The texture is like a hydrating soothing cream with plenty of moisture. It provides sufficient hydration and causes no irritation. It's even safe to use after extracting blemishes. When applied generously before bed, my skin absorbs the moisture well, feeling slightly firmer and better the next morning. I couldn't really feel any calming effects. There's an odd rich feeling that makes me hesitant to repurchase. It's not about balancing oil and moisture - while it provides enough hydration, there's a strange oily sensation from the cream that feels almost greasy right after application. Although it didn't cause breakouts, it wasn't effective for my blemishes, and the rich feeling was really off-putting for me. So, I probably won't buy it again. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSep 28, 2024
💙 Cica Ingredients 🌿 Contains cica ingredients known for their effectiveness against blemishes, so I recommend it for those concerned about skin troubles. 💙 Gentle Formula While the Balance Full Cica Soothing Cream didn't work for me personally, its gentle formula didn't aggravate my existing blemishes or make them worse. It wasn't entirely satisfactory, but it was a decent product overall. 💙 Hydration The hydration level felt similar to the blue hyaluronic acid creams, providing a noticeable moisture boost. 💙 Scent It has a subtle woody fragrance that reminds me of being in a forest. Those sensitive to scents should take note! 👎 Rich Texture Similar to the blue moisturizing creams, it felt quite rich, which wasn't ideal for me as I prefer a light, fresh finish without excess oil. 👎 Soothing Effect Perhaps because cica ingredients don't suit my skin, I didn't notice any calming effects on my blemishes. I'd recommend this to those who typically respond well to cica products. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 11, 2024
The soothing gel-like texture provides excellent hydration. Applying multiple thin layers doesn't leave your skin feeling greasy. It's completely oil-free, so those with dry skin might need to layer it with a more emollient product for added moisture. For an extra boost of soothing power, try using it together with the Torriden Cica Serum! - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAug 28, 2024
It's lightweight and fluid, spreading easily with excellent absorption! It feels fresh without any heaviness. Gentle and comfortable on the skin. The pleasant texture makes it suitable even for men who typically dislike applying moisturizers. I'm definitely considering repurchasing. It only provides a slight hydration and has almost no oil content, so it evaporates quickly, leaving the skin parched and dry. You need to layer another cream on top for proper moisturization. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJun 16, 2024
As someone with a combination of redness, small blemishes, and super sensitive skin, I absolutely adore this product! It's truly a back-to-basics formula that doesn't cause any irritation. I honestly want to use it for the rest of my life! There's honestly nothing bad to say! Just keep in mind that while it's a cream, it has more of an emulsion-like texture without much richness. I personally love this aspect, but those with dry skin might need to layer another product on top! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMay 14, 2024
I'm incredibly grateful to have won the chance to try this product through The Hwahae Testers, as I've been wanting to use it for a while. My skin is a bit of a mystery - I'm not sure if it's combination dehydrated, oily, or dry. I think it used to be oily but seems to be transitioning to dry now. This product has a gel-cream texture that feels like pudding and is wonderfully bouncy. There's no noticeable scent, and I'm very satisfied with the ingredients. It seems particularly well-suited for those with oily skin. I didn't experience any major blemishes, and it feels gentle on the skin. At first, I didn't notice much, but with consistent application, my skin seems to have adapted, and I think it's having a calming effect. I generally prefer moisturizers that are gentle, full of hydration, and offer a bit of nourishment. Unfortunately, this cream didn't provide me with the intense hydration I was hoping for. While it does feel hydrating, it seems to lack in nourishment. I couldn't quite feel that deep, satisfying moisture I was looking for. I found that using this product along with an oil seemed to work better. It improved the hydration as well. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 23, 2024
As someone with acne-prone skin that doesn't tolerate rich creams, especially during seasonal changes, I was thrilled to try the Torriden CICA cream. It's wonderfully gentle and clean-feeling, without causing any irritation to my blemish-prone complexion. I'm particularly impressed by how well it works for sensitive skin, which gives me confidence in the product. Since this product is quite low in oil content, those who need more richness in their skincare might want to look for a more emollient option! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 29, 2024
I love the cooling effect it has. I'll keep using it to see if it really helps calm my skin. For combination dehydrated skin in winter, it lacks both hydration and richness. It feels a bit dry. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 26, 2024
The cream feels incredibly hydrating and seems to infuse moisture into the skin. I didn't experience any blemishes after using it. What I found most satisfying was how it finishes without any stickiness, leaving a fresh feeling. The oil and moisture balance could be improved. It feels like it only provides hydration, so I'm not sure about its moisturizing effectiveness. It might be a bit challenging to use in winter, but it seems more suitable as a cream for summer use. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinDec 9, 2023
The gel-like texture of this moisturizer made it absorb well. It wasn't sticky, so I applied it generously on my neck too. I appreciated that it didn't have a strong scent. As someone with super sensitive skin, I was pleased that it didn't cause any blemishes or irritation. While it's a hydrating cream, it felt more like adding a thin layer rather than deeply quenching the skin. I ended up applying another cream on top. For those with extremely dry skin, the hydration might not be sufficient. I think it works best when you layer it all over your face and neck before your final moisturizer, like you're building up layers of hydration!
