It absorbs into the skin really well and super quickly! It's perfect for light moisturizing before makeup. Plus, it's fragrance-free, which is fantastic. I can't think of any downsides, to be honest. Just filling up the 20-character requirement here! - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 29, 2025
✔️Light, easily absorbed formula ✔️Quick absorption ✔️Recommended for oily and combination dehydrated skin (great for summer) ✔️Suitable as a cream mask for combination dehydrated and blemish-prone skin My skin is combination dehydrated, prone to small bumps and occasionally inflammatory acne. Since rich creams tend to trigger breakouts, I've been searching for a lightweight formula. The Toriden Soothing Cream fits the bill perfectly - it has a light texture like a hydrating cream, absorbs well, and leaves no greasy or heavy feeling. It's especially great as a finishing touch in summer when heavier creams feel too much. I've noticed it's particularly effective at calming inflammatory acne when applied generously as an overnight mask. As Toriden is known for their hydrating products, this soothing cream delivers deep moisture as expected. I was so impressed with the sample that I purchased the full size. Using the Toriden Hydrating Serum + Soothing Cream together has visibly improved my small bumps. I can't live without Toriden, I love it so much! Please have more sales... While I'm extremely satisfied, the light texture might not be hydrating enough for winter use! This seems unavoidable due to the nature of the formula. This is not a Toriden ad, I bought it with my own money... Just using Toriden's Hydrating Toner + Hydrating Serum + Soothing Cream is enough to provide ample hydration. It's the perfect combination for combination dehydrated skin in summer! For those who find the Soothing Cream too dry during the day, try layering it over Aestura Soothing Cream - it locks in moisture like nothing else... This combination has really improved my stubborn dry skin-related small bumps. Lately, I've been using Toriden Toner + The Ordinary Zinc + Toriden Hydrating Serum + Aestura Soothing Cream during the day. I've hardly had any inflammatory acne and rarely feel dry. It's amazing! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMay 25, 2025
The hydration is so good that it's fine to just apply this after removing makeup. It feels light and refreshing on the face! Since I started using this, I rarely get blemishes, and even when I do, they go away quickly after 2-3 days of focused application. I'm on my third bottle! There wasn't anything particularly disappointing. However, I wouldn't recommend this to those who dislike products with high moisture content, as it's very hydrating. I found that rolling it on worked better than patting it into the skin. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 25, 2025
It absorbs lightly without feeling heavy, and it was incredibly beneficial for acne-prone skin. There's no dramatic difference, but I noticed slightly more blemishes when I didn't use it. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinMay 18, 2025
I happened to use the Hwahae pack, and then I bought and used the serum and moisturizer as well. Haha. I'm still applying them lightly before bed consistently, and they seem to be good for quickly calming my skin! The texture feels slightly thin and lightweight, so I'll need to apply it a few times. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMay 16, 2025
First, it seems good to use it lightly in the summer without being too heavy. The formulation is somewhat gel-like, so it is a soothing cream but has a light feel, which I liked. The product is also mild and can be used daily without any discomfort. Specifically, I don't know of any particularly bad points, but I wanted a little more moisture, and I was a bit disappointed. The product itself has a lightweight formulation, so if wrinkles are a concern, it may be a bit weak. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 12, 2025
I've been using this for 2 weeks in May. My skin is combination dehydrated, but lately it's been producing more oil. I usually use the Bring Green Artemisia Calming Moisture Cream. As summer approaches, I wanted a lighter soothing cream, so I gave this a try. I'm really satisfied with the results! Being a soothing cream, it's lightweight and absorbs well without any stickiness. It doesn't cause any deep dryness either, so I'd recommend it for oily or combination dehydrated skin in summer! There wasn't anything particularly bad. If I had to pick something, it might be a bit drying for those with dry skin or combination dehydrated skin in winter. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinMay 11, 2025
The incredibly lightweight formula makes it perfect for summer use. It's especially suitable for those with oily skin. On the flip side, those with dry skin might find it a bit lacking. As someone with dry skin, I felt it absorbed too quickly. I'm not sure about its effectiveness in soothing sensitive skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMay 11, 2025
It's fragrance-free with a lightweight formula that absorbs well. Even though I have sensitive skin, there was no irritation at all! It feels refreshing with a cooling effect, making it great for daily use. I have combination skin, so while my cheeks and forehead were dry, my nose area felt a bit oily. The hydration doesn't last long, so those with dry skin might find it challenging to use. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 5, 2025
The texture is light and easy to apply, making it a pleasure to use. It absorbs well and spreads nicely on the skin. Overall, it feels like a decent gel cream. When used alone, it felt a bit drying. I'm not sure if the natural ingredients didn't agree with my skin, but it caused some itching. To make matters worse, I developed blemishes, so I had to stop using it. If it had suited my skin, I probably would have used it year-round, except in winter. It's a shame it didn't work out.
