This lightweight water-based formula is rich in hydration and absorbs quickly into the skin. It finishes with a fresh, non-sticky feel, making it perfect for summer use. I found it effective for oil control, which was particularly helpful when dealing with acne-prone skin. Its soothing properties also aided in reducing blemishes. Even those with super sensitive skin can use it without worry, and it's great for evening out skin texture. I often used it before applying makeup for a smooth base. The moisturizing power might be a bit weak for those with dry skin or deep dryness, so additional hydration may be necessary. People sensitive to fragrances might experience slight irritation. For an extra boost, try using it as an exfoliating toner by applying with a cotton pad. This method helps refine skin texture and control excess oil. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 30, 2025
Great for oily, combination, and dry skin types as a lightweight, soothing toner. It contains exfoliating ingredients that help with blemishes, making it perfect as the first step after cleansing. The watery texture without stickiness is ideal for oily and combination dehydrated skin, absorbs quickly, and leaves no sticky residue. For dry skin, it feels light, so you'll definitely need to follow up with a serum or cream for extra hydration! This toner alone won't dramatically eliminate blemishes. Personally, I found the toner + cream combo more effective than the Pation serum. Due to its lightweight nature, it's more suitable for spring and summer rather than fall and winter. For my oily, combination dehydrated skin, during the day I applied Pation toner + hydrating cream, then Pation cream only on trouble spots. This felt less heavy and soothed my skin well! In the evening, I layered toner + serum + hydrating cream + Pation cream on specific areas. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinNov 23, 2024
* Skin type: Naturally oily, but can be combination dehydrated skin depending on weather changes / Blemish-prone skin After seeing reviews praising its effectiveness for blemishes and recommendations for products from the same brand, I decided to try this toner as well. It's a very lightweight, water-based toner that's easy to use without feeling heavy on the skin. The experience can vary depending on the cotton pad you use. I use very thin cotton pads from Daiso, which are actually too thin for an exfoliating toner. So, I generously soak the pad and use it as a toner mask. When using it as a toner mask, leaving it on for too long can actually cause small bumps to appear. It's best to apply it right after cleansing and remove it within 3 minutes. I wouldn't recommend patting it in with your hands as it's too watery. The most effective method seems to be using it as an exfoliating toner with cotton pads of moderate thickness. The downside is that being a water-based toner, it gets used up quite quickly, and the price is a bit on the higher side, which is somewhat disappointing. For exfoliating toner: Daiso half-cut cotton pads or DIY peeling pads For toner mask: Daiso Somethsom square pulp cotton pads or DIY peeling pads -> Personally, I found the Somethsom square pulp cotton pads to be thin, which means less toner used and no guilt when removing them quickly! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinOct 14, 2024
It's lightweight yet hydrating. When I use this with a serum, my skin feels soft and supple the next day. I apply it on days when my skin needs a little extra care. It's way too expensive for the amount you get. Why on earth is it over 20,000 won?! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 11, 2024
It's lightweight, has a pleasant scent, and seems really effective for blemishes! There's absolutely nothing bad to say! In fact, I might even switch to this product permanently! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 7, 2024
I've been using the entire North Scana Nine line, so I had high hopes for the toner too! It's gentle and perfect for a light application before applying cream. It's very watery, which leaves my skin feeling slightly dry. I can't really tell if it helps with blemish soothing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 6, 2024
I initially bought the ampoule because I heard it was good, then tried the cream for the same reason, but they were just okay for me. Surprisingly, the toner that came as a gratis is what I reach for more often! It's great for a quick pat-in application, doesn't cause any blemishes, and it's definitely a product I'd like to repurchase. There's nothing, absolutely nothing, really nothing at all to dislike about this product. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 27, 2024
Skin type - Dry and sensitive with lack of hydration It has a lightweight, watery texture without feeling heavy 1. You can feel the moisturizing and hydrating effects! 2. It gently cares for dead skin cells without over-exfoliating 3. Even with my super sensitive skin, I experienced no irritation. I'm already on my second bottle because it's just that good! I didn't really notice any major drawbacks, but if I had to nitpick, I'd say the moisturizing power could be slightly better For areas where dead skin cells are more of a concern, you can soak a cotton pad with the toner and leave it on for 2-3 minutes. This allows for a gentler and more effective way to soothe and care for dead skin cells! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAug 8, 2024
This is my go-to product. It's lightweight and does a great job at soothing blemishes. I can't think of anything disappointing about it. It's a great product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 28, 2024
First off, I love that it's made by a pharmaceutical company, which gives me peace of mind when using it. Surprisingly, my super sensitive skin didn't put up much of a fight! I've tried various toners, but this one seems to have the lightest, most water-like texture. It doesn't feel heavy at all, making it perfect for layering with other products. The scent... the alcohol smell is a bit strong, unfortunately. Also, right after application, there's a slight burning sensation? I've experienced a bit of tingling, so I've sometimes followed up immediately with a serum. Those with super sensitive skin or blemish-prone complexions might want to keep this in mind...
