The texture is completely water-like and seems perfect for those with very oily skin. However, make sure to check if it's suitable for your skin type before purchasing. While other North Sca Nine products worked well for me, this one caused more blemishes the more I used it. I strongly recommend trying a sample or testing it at Olive Young before buying. It was quite a disappointing product for me. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 4, 2023
It seems to effectively smooth out dead skin cells. After using this toner, my skin looks slightly coated and has a nice glow. While it does exfoliate, there's definitely a noticeable irritation on the face. When I used it with an alkaline foam cleanser, my face stung and became slightly red. I also developed some small bumps and blemishes, so I ended up throwing it away. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 3, 2023
It's a true water-based toner that can be used for both exfoliating and absorption. It's not sticky and absorbs well into the skin quickly. I felt a slight tingling sensation on the delicate skin around my mouth immediately after application. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 25, 2023
It absorbs well and has great ingredients, so I've been using it for about two weeks. Strangely, my face feels a burning sensation after application. I thought it would only happen at first, but it keeps happening. It seems to cause irritation for me. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSep 18, 2023
Used for a week, my skin reacted badly, bought it to use with the blemish line... If you have sensitive skin, please don't use this. It makes your skin even worse. My face turned red and it was a disaster... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAug 31, 2023
I'm not really sure if there are any advantages... It was incredibly irritating on my skin. I might have sensitive skin, but... it really made my skin so inflamed that I had to stop using it after just two applications. I didn't have any acne scars, just a few blemishes on otherwise clear skin. But after using this, my skin became slightly red and irritated, so I had to discontinue use. I recommend trying a sample product first. If it suits your skin, then consider purchasing the full-size version. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinAug 21, 2023
I used this as an exfoliating toner, and with consistent use, I noticed a significant reduction in the small blemishes on my forehead and cheeks. By gently wiping it along my skin's texture and allowing it to absorb, my complexion became noticeably smoother. As someone with super sensitive skin, I tried using this as a toner pack, but even after a short time, I experienced a burning sensation on my face. I wouldn't recommend using it as a toner pack for those with sensitive skin. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinAug 4, 2023
- Texture: It's a true water toner! I usually only use water toners, so I loved this. It's perfect for use as a toner pad! - Feel: It's completely clean without a trace of oil. It might be too drying for those with dry skin, but as someone with oily skin, it was just right for me. However, the finish oddly felt like it was coating my skin. - Irritation: After applying, I felt a slight tingling and irritation on my skin. Also, I'm not sure if it's because of this toner, but I'm starting to get a few pustular blemishes on my chin... It works great as a toner pad after cleansing! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 3, 2023
1. Texture It can be used without much stickiness, feeling light and airy. It also has a hydrating quality without being heavy or suffocating, making it a great product for summer use. After trying this product, I noticed it seemed to help calm redness and reduce flushing. 2. Consistency It has a water-like consistency. There's absolutely no viscosity to it. While some toners can feel a bit thick, this product has zero viscosity. It seems perfect for use as an exfoliating toner. 3. Scent It's fragrance-free and colorless. 1. Skin Reaction Since I have dry and super sensitive skin, I sometimes get blemishes when I switch products. Even though this was supposed to be good for blemishes, I unfortunately broke out after using it. I had just gotten my skin under control after visiting the dermatologist for a while, but then I developed blemishes after using this product. 2. Room for Improvement The consistency is so thin that while it works well as an exfoliating toner, it feels a bit wasteful when trying to apply it by hand for absorption. When you dispense it onto your hand, it tends to run off. Regarding the blemishes, I'm not sure if it's just a temporary reaction or if my skin doesn't agree with the product. I'll need to use it a bit longer to know for sure. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinAug 3, 2023
The Hwahae Testers review: Skin type: Combination, acne-prone (I've been using it every night since July 26th!) Formula: It's a completely watery toner! Some toners like this can be super drying, but this one feels great to use right now. I don't think it'll be too drying even in winter. If you have combination skin and want a light toner, give this a try! When applied, it makes your skin surprisingly smooth and provides good hydration. User experience: As mentioned earlier, it had adequate moisturizing power for me! Especially after doing a toner mask, I could really feel the deep hydration. There was a slight burning sensation after the mask, but it definitely calmed my skin better than just applying it normally. And when I follow up with serum and moisturizer after the toner mask, my complexion becomes instantly radiant - I love it so much! Scent: There's a very faint alcohol scent... a subtle antiseptic smell. I don't mind it, but it might be hit or miss for some people. If you want to try a toner for acne-prone skin, I recommend this! While the effects are subtle, it doesn't cause any new blemishes and provides some hydration, so I recommend it! Burning sensation: On the first day, I did a toner mask using half a cotton pad, but my face felt so hot that I had to remove it and just let it absorb. Although it burned and didn't cause more blemishes, it's fine when I just apply it with my hands, but even after that, my face still burns whenever I do a toner mask. My skin usually responds well to tea tree products, so I'm not sure which ingredient is causing the burning... I deducted one star because of this. But I still do toner masks despite the burning because it brightens my face. Minimal blemish improvement: I've used COSRX's No Sebum and Trouble serums before and felt they were good at calming blemishes, but with this toner, I'm not sure about blemish improvement. However, it does calm redness immediately. For those who experienced burning with toner masks, just apply it with your hands! And if nothing happens after a toner mask, try it anyway. Even though my face burns after the mask, when I look at my face at night after doing one, my complexion really looks clearer!
