I have acne-prone combination dehydrated skin with redness. The biggest advantage is its excellent soothing effect. Immediately after application, my skin feels calmer (it doesn't reduce heat, but it soothes acne and redness). There's absolutely no irritation. When it dries, there's no residue or stickiness, leaving my skin moisturized. It's definitely in the top 4 of all the toners I've tried so far. I love that the packaging doesn't look cheap. The toner bottle design is aesthetically pleasing, giving off a luxurious cosmetic bottle vibe. It's a shame it might be difficult to recycle though. It works great in synergy with other Fation series products! And I really appreciate that it's a daily soothing item... it gives such a comfortable feeling. There's nothing particularly bad, but it's very runny and sometimes gushes out. Also, if you try to absorb a large amount of essence at once, it doesn't absorb well, so you need to layer it gradually, building it up one layer at a time. It's not meant for reducing heat or intense hydration. Additional moisturizing is essential. It doesn't give a cooling sensation. While it's already great as is, I think it would be even better if it had a cooling effect! Fation Toner → Fation Trouble Serum → Fation Trouble Cream This combination works wonders for soothing the skin! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinAug 1, 2023
It genuinely helped with dead skin cell removal, and despite being mildly acidic, I appreciated that it didn't feel slippery. It provides some hydration without causing tightness, making it a comfortable exfoliating toner to use. The bottle opening is just right - not too narrow or wide - allowing for easy control of the amount dispensed. It's non-irritating, simple, and clean. There's nothing particularly disappointing, but if I had to nitpick... When using toners for blemishes, I often expect a cooling effect, which this one doesn't have. Perhaps because of the warm weather, I'm missing that cooling sensation a bit. I find it works best when I first sweep it over my entire face with a cotton pad, then leave the pad on areas with more dead skin cells for a moment. This seems to help calm those areas more effectively. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJul 6, 2023
The Hwahae Testers review: My skin type is combination, with an oily T-zone and dry, sensitive U-zone! 1. Soothing: ★★★★★ Having already experienced the calming effects of the NOSKANA9 ampoule, I had high expectations, and it didn't disappoint! The soothing effect is top-notch! Throughout use, I didn't experience any blemishes, and it effectively reduced redness. 2. Hydration: ★★★★ While there's no initial cooling effect, the moisture lasts longer than expected without any feeling of tightness! Maybe it's because it's summer, but I found it comfortable without needing to apply cream - no dry feeling at all. 3. Absorption: ★★★★★ It has a very watery consistency. When applied using patting motions, it absorbs incredibly quickly, leaving no stickiness and a fresh finish! 4. Exfoliation: ★★★★★ True to its claim as an exfoliating and barrier-strengthening toner, it left my skin smooth without needing a separate peeling step. It's gentle, perfect for sensitive skin! My makeup went on flawlessly over it! 5. Other: ★★★★★ Completely satisfied with its colorless and odorless formula, free from any artificial fragrances! The reason I deducted one star from hydration is purely personal preference. I enjoy feeling a cooling effect when first applying to my face, which this product lacks. Apart from that, I'm completely satisfied! Tips: - Use as a toner pack by leaving it on the face for a while - Use in combination with the NOSKANA9 ampoule While it may not be very noticeable in photos, it definitely smoothed out my skin texture and made it feel soft! It also seems to be effective in reducing redness.
