So I prefer sunscreens that aren't too thick or heavy. I had never tried brightening moisturizers before, but after using this Dr.G product, I don't think I can go back to anything else! By applying this brightening moisturizer, I found that one layer of foundation is now enough, whereas I used to need two. Unless you have very dark scars, you won't even need concealer. On days when you can't be bothered with foundation, this cream alone can create a natural look. -> That's how satisfied I am with its brightening effect! And it doesn't feel thick or heavy at all when applied. Scent: Neutral (no overpowering fragrance) Texture: Right in between thick and runny! Application: Absorbs smoothly without feeling dry or tight
ConsThe only downside is that after application, there's a slight oily residue left behind, similar to what you might get with moisturizing sunscreens. That was a bit disappointing.
TipJust make sure your base skincare isn't too rich, and you should be good to go!

Right after application, I was certain it 'won't transfer onto masks at all, and probably won't rub off even if I sleep on my side' - None of the typical suffocating feeling associated with sunscreens, especially mineral ones - Photo: Applied thinly in two layers. Should be fine for daily commute - More satisfactory than expected, planning to use up the whole bottle. It's mid-March now, looking forward to trying it in summer - Might be a bit challenging for dry skin types to use in the dead of winter
ConsThis sunscreen doesn't come off with just my foam cleanser. - B*** Mung Bean Foam - Fo** Clear Spa Foam There's still residue when I move my facial muscles, and I can definitely feel something left when I rub my skin with my fingers. It seems like it needs to be removed with an oil cleanser.
TipApply a tiny amount all over your face and pat it in gently. If you need more brightening, layer it on 1-2 more times.
