Especially with physical sunscreens, there's often that typical 'mask-like' feeling on the skin, but not with this product. It's non-irritating and truly gentle. * Evens skin tone, decent coverage I don't wear daily makeup, just sunscreen. Even with low white-cast products, there's always some whitening effect. This product, as shown in the photo, has a BB cream-like texture that feels like a BB cream + sunscreen combo when applied. It's unrealistic to expect foundation-like coverage from a sunscreen, and I prioritize sun protection with coverage as a bonus. For someone like me who only used sunscreen before, the coverage and tone-evening effect are quite satisfactory. A big plus is that it doesn't make you look ghostly white like other sunscreens.
Cons* The dryness from physical sunscreens seems unavoidable * While I'm satisfied, those expecting more coverage might find it lacking 🔴 Review after 2 months of use 🔴 * It's drying and clings to the skin, causing pilling after application.. You need to pay extra attention to your skincare routine * There seems to be a slight darkening effect as time passes.
Tip* With physical sunscreens, you'll need to focus on a solid skincare routine to combat the dryness. 🔴 Tip: Mix this product with a sunscreen that has either a white cast or good spreadability for better results 🔴

However, Dr.G doesn't have that issue, so I've been using it religiously. It's a product I was already familiar with, so when I was chosen for The Hwahae Testers, I've been putting it to good use! There's no white cast, and thanks to its natural brightening and pore-refining effects, I use it like a primer before applying makeup.
ConsSince sunscreen is a daily essential, it runs out quickly. It's quite pricey outside of drugstore sales. If it doesn't adhere well, it can cause slight pilling with makeup.
TipIt's a good idea to stock up on two during frequent drugstore sales. Applying it with a damp sponge prevents foundation from pilling and allows for a more hydrating application.

When applying the same amount, it's less whitening compared to other products, which I appreciate. (I tend to finish my skin makeup with sunscreen instead of foundation, so I apply quite generously to ensure proper sun protection) * It feels less stiff when applied. The product I used before would feel tight and dry after some time, but this one is less so. It seems to have the right amount of richness for combination dehydrated skin? For my combination dehydrated skin, it has a good level of richness for spring and autumn use. * The absorption is average. Overall, it's a safe choice that even those with super sensitive skin can use without issues.
ConsIt seems unrealistic to expect strong adherence and long-lasting effects from a sunscreen... Right after application, you might think 'Hmm, it's moisturizing yet somewhat fresh,' but as time passes, it feels like it's sitting on top of the skin. Being a mineral sunscreen, it doesn't break down cleanly when it meets skin oils.
TipTo improve adherence and longevity, I mix the sunscreen with a makeup fixer before applying.
