Great for use when skin is dry or not in its best condition. It's so moisturizing that it doesn't flake even in winter, and it truly makes your skin look beautiful. No darkening effect, and it doesn't leave any small bumps or blemishes on the skin after use. There's an odd scent... It smells a bit like cucumber. The coverage isn't particularly impressive. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinMay 16, 2025
The expression is impressive. As soon as it is applied, it adheres closely to the skin and the breakdown is also beautiful, and the coverage is excellent, so when used on special days, it gives a sense of confidence. Even when it breaks down, it does not clump or become messy, and it naturally transforms into a radiant finish, so touch-ups are not burdensome. It is moisturizing yet finishes with a powdery feel, so it was perfect for combination skin, and the pore coverage was quite good as well. Time tends to cause a slight darkening, so it's best to apply it one shade lighter than desired initially. It's also on the pricier side, so using it daily may be burdensome. The puff's durability is somewhat weak, so frequent cleaning or replacement may be necessary. When making corrections, gently dab on a small amount with a puff, and it will cover without becoming too thick. There will be hardly any visible signs of reapplication, resulting in a very neat finish. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinMay 4, 2025
This is the best cushion I've ever used for skin appearance! When I go out wearing just sunscreen and this Yves Saint Laurent cushion, everyone I meet asks about my cushion because my skin looks so good. It gives a perfect glow without being overwhelming, and even when it fades, it does so naturally without looking messy. My skin looks beautiful all day long. It's like magic - even when my skin isn't at its best, this cushion applies moistly and makes it look great. The coverage is on the lighter side, so you'll need a separate concealer if you have any blemishes. The price is the biggest downside - I have to buy it every time I go to the duty-free shop. For those with blemishes, apply concealer first before using the cushion. This way, the natural glow and skin appearance won't be masked by the concealer. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinApr 19, 2025
As a cushion nomad who mainly used Hera and Jung Saem Mool, I decided to try this after seeing so many rave reviews on YouTube. First off, it's great for fall, winter, and seasonal transitions due to its high hydration. The coverage is light but effectively conceals most blemishes, giving you that porcelain skin look. It's moisturizing and even when it fades, it does so beautifully with minimal darkening! The price is truly wicked... You even have to buy the puff separately, which is just cruel. Also, for summer use, it might be too moisturizing even for my dry skin - feels a bit excessive and might make your hair stick to your face. Apply it right after your sunscreen (like Cell Fusion C) for a plump, moisturized, and well-adhered finish! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 24, 2025
I used to think foreign foundations had bad ingredients, but using YSL changed my mind. With many Korean products, I often stop using them after a few tries because they don't suit me. This one, however, matches my skin type well and I love how hydrating it is. It's also great that it's not too oily. It feels moisturizing when applied, but dries quickly. Being shade 20, unlike when first applied, it develops a yellowish tint over time. I usually apply skincare, then brightening moisturizer, and use concealer or cushion foundation only on my cheekbones where I have dark spots. Maybe because the color is dark, it turns yellowish and doesn't provide great coverage. Still, it's nice to use as it applies thinly and is a hydrating cushion foundation. With its low SPF23/PA++, it's best to apply a moisturizing sunscreen before using this for coverage. This will keep your skin hydrated without tightness all day long. Alternatively, apply a cover stick around your eyes and mouth before using the foundation for a glowy, moisturized look. For areas that turn yellow, finishing with a white powder helps (I use Make Up For Ever products). - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinMar 4, 2025
My skin is dry, but this product was wonderfully moisturizing and provided excellent hydration during the winter! It lacks coverage, so I wouldn't recommend it for those with a lot of blemishes. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinMar 1, 2025
I want to use this puff with all my moisturizing cushions! First off, the cushion itself has an amazing absorbing quality - it's like applying foundation mixed with essence. Would you believe it also has pretty decent coverage? The fine particles help cover pores better than average. I bought this based on a department store beauty advisor's recommendation. Although the color is slightly off for me, it still looks beautiful. It's a bit difficult to insert my finger into the puff. Maybe my hands are just too big? - Hwahae UserDry SkinFeb 9, 2025
It was surprisingly hydrating! I loved how easy it was to control the amount - just dispense a few pumps onto the cap and you get the perfect thin layer. It absorbs beautifully! The darkening effect was more intense than expected, and the coverage isn't particularly impressive. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJan 29, 2025
It's moisturizing, but only when you apply it. Highly recommended for oily skin types - it's likely to work wonders for them! It accentuates dead skin cells too much. Apart from that, it's great! Everyone should give it a try! - Hwahae UserDry SkinJan 22, 2025
I like it! It's moisturizing. However, the coverage seems to be lacking. The coverage isn't great, and it feels like there's not much product in the container. It's also quite pricey.
