Its bouncy texture doesn't run down your hand, which is great. It also doesn't drip excessively when mixed with water. ⭐️ Gentle formula - I wanted something to remove morning oiliness, and compared to stronger cleansers I've used before, this feels gentler and perfect for morning cleansing.

  What could be improved: 🫥 Cleansing power - As someone who wears heavy makeup daily, I didn't feel like it cleaned thoroughly enough. It seems the gentler formula comes at the cost of cleansing effectiveness. 🫥 Lather - If you're looking for a rich, foamy lather, you might be disappointed. This doesn't produce much foam. 🫥 Slippery finish - The slippery finish typical of low pH cleansers made it hard to tell if I'd cleansed properly. As someone who prefers a squeaky clean feel, this wasn't ideal for me. That's why I use it for morning cleansing rather than as a second step after cleansing oil.

  After using it for two weeks, I noticed my pore-prone skin became much firmer! Being a cleansing gel foam, I was unsure about the lather, but it foamed up surprisingly well, making cleansing a breeze! The scent isn't overpowering, so I think most people won't mind it.   ☆ Recent skin condition: Combination dehydrated skin (oily T-zone, dry cheeks), seasonal allergies causing skin irritation (dead skin cells galore, oil and moisture balance out of whack). As a result, my skin hasn't been absorbing products well. Usually, my skin absorbs about 80% of products and responds to their effects, but lately it's only been 30-50%... ☆ Texture: This was my first time using a gel cleanser, so I was most concerned about how well it would lather. It doesn't foam up much when using just hands, but it would probably lather nicely with a cleansing tool. ☆ Scent: The fragrance is somewhat familiar, yet still has an element that I can't quite place. However, it's not overpowering - just a subtle scent during cleansing that doesn't linger after rinsing. ☆ Cleansing effectiveness: I was worried that the gel texture wouldn't cleanse well due to less foam, but it's actually perfect for my oily skin. It's gentle enough for daily use while still effectively removing morning oiliness and stubborn evening sebum. It would work well as a second cleanser after light makeup removal. While it claims to exfoliate, I didn't notice much in that department. The main selling point for me is how gentle and non-irritating it is. ☆ Sensitivity: The gel texture seems to be its strongest feature. The foam is incredibly soft, causing no irritation. I used this product morning and night for 3 days on my bare face, which I think was too much. Even though it's meant for exfoliation, using it too frequently might be counterproductive and could actually cause more dead skin cells and throw off your skin's balance. (I caught on to this early and switched to using it only in the evenings daily, and occasionally in the mornings. I usually cleanse with mung bean powder in the mornings.)

A honey-colored cleansing gel! I thought it might be a bit sticky, but when it touches water and you lather it up, it creates rich foam! I put just a tiny amount in my bubble maker and it produced dense, creamy bubbles! On my skin, it felt like it was cleansing thoroughly! There was a sudden rush of freshness. As mentioned above, it felt like it cleaned off all the oil from my face, leaving it squeaky clean! I wondered if it might be a bit too much, but it definitely felt refreshing! The scent wasn't overpowering - it had a fresh, clean fragrance! It's the kind of pleasant scent that wouldn't be divisive!
