Its bouncy texture doesn't run down your hand, which is great. It also doesn't drip excessively when mixed with water. ⭐️ Gentle formula - I wanted something to remove morning oiliness, and compared to stronger cleansers I've used before, this feels gentler and perfect for morning cleansing.

  What could be improved: 🫥 Cleansing power - As someone who wears heavy makeup daily, I didn't feel like it cleaned thoroughly enough. It seems the gentler formula comes at the cost of cleansing effectiveness. 🫥 Lather - If you're looking for a rich, foamy lather, you might be disappointed. This doesn't produce much foam. 🫥 Slippery finish - The slippery finish typical of low pH cleansers made it hard to tell if I'd cleansed properly. As someone who prefers a squeaky clean feel, this wasn't ideal for me. That's why I use it for morning cleansing rather than as a second step after cleansing oil.

  I'm a bit late with this review as I wanted to use it for a full two weeks first. The texture is not thin, but rather a gel-type foam cleanser that adheres really well to the skin. I loved the refreshing, squeaky-clean feeling it gave without causing dryness or tightness, which is unusual for that level of cleansing. While I'm not sure about pore reduction, I was amazed at how smooth and soft my skin felt immediately after washing. The foam isn't as rich as some other brands, but that's okay.   The formula is an opaque licorice-colored gel texture! For my first use, I lathered it up and cleansed along my skin texture. The finish felt moisturizing yet refreshingly clean. Some low pH products for sensitive skin can have weak cleansing power, but this one actually cleanses well (which is crucial for my super oily, sebum-rich skin!). It seems to care for pores too - after cleansing, my skin texture looks better. It's like my pores even gained some elasticity. I'm usually very thorough with cleansing (I scrub with enzyme powder cleansers), so using this with a pore brush to deeply cleanse into the pores was even better. There was no irritation, no blemishes popping up, and no tingling at all! The scent is a subtle floral or herbal aroma that puts me in a good mood every morning when I cleanse. I've heard that maintaining slightly acidic skin pH is important for folliculitis... I'd recommend this to anyone who wants a low pH cleanser with good cleansing power and is concerned about pores!

To be honest, I was skeptical about how effective it would be for skin texture improvement since the formula doesn't contain any granules, but I was pleasantly surprised by the results. The texture is like a honey jelly? It's bouncy and elastic, which might be why it produces a rich, creamy lather. While the downside of low pH foam cleansers used to be their poor lathering at first, the newer ones, including this one, lather up nicely, making them easy to use. I think this size will last a long time! Moreover, a small amount was enough to create sufficient foam! The scent isn't harsh, and it reminds me of a natural soap fragrance I've smelled somewhere before...? Personally, I found the scent quite pleasant and not off-putting.   I've tried everything that's supposed to be good for the skin, you know? Famous cica, tea tree, centella asiatica, and so on... But they only worked temporarily, and then my skin went back to its original state. Sigh. However, after using this, even my regular skincare products became more effective! After application, my skin texture is noticeably improved, and my makeup applies so much better. It's a real lifesaver... I absolutely love it. You should definitely try it. Turns out licorice was the perfect match for my skin... licorice...

  Hmm... There's not really anything bad, but you know double cleansing is a must if you wear makeup, right? This product alone isn't enough for that.

  Here's my review as one of The Hwahae Testers: While this product cleanses effectively and has many benefits, there are also some drawbacks. ✨ Pleasant Fragrance It has a subtle, pleasant scent! It's actually identical to the purple solid perfume from Tony Moly. ✨ Product Effectiveness After cleansing, my pores looked clean and it seemed like it removed impurities well! Since it's mildly acidic, the cleansing effect is gentler. I've been using it only in the mornings, but my skin texture has become much smoother and my pores have noticeably reduced in size. ✨ Cooling Effect Even after rinsing and drying, I could still feel a cooling effect on my face!

  💧 Dryness Despite the cooling effect, my skin felt dry soon after washing. 💧 Foam Amount Being a gel type, it doesn't produce a lot of foam. (7-day update: I tried using a foam maker, and it lathers much better by hand! Squeeze some cleanser into your palm, add a bit of water, and quickly rub to create foam.) 💧 Cleansing Power After rinsing with water, I missed that squeaky-clean feeling you usually get after cleansing, which made me feel like it didn't remove everything. So on days when I wear makeup, I use a different cleansing foam for my second cleanse.

  I highly recommend creating foam by hand, as using a foam maker produces very little lather.

  It's a non-drip gel formula with a nice, firm texture. The scent is subtly pleasant - what is this fragrance? It's totally my style, I love it! Even when I use it with water and roll it on my skin, it doesn't foam up much. I've been using it for my morning cleanse, and it seems to refine my skin texture.
