  This is my first cleansing balm, so it's hard to compare it to other cleansing balms, but I think I can compare it to cleansing oils! To sum it up, I felt it was much better than cleansing oils, and I have the intention to repurchase it. First of all, the texture was new to me - it doesn't just flow down like oil, but can be applied neatly on the face. When you rub the surface, it transforms into an oil-like emulsion (but it still doesn't just flow down your face haha). At that point, it seemed to dissolve the makeup well. The cleansing power was also better than expected, so it felt much better for someone like me who doesn't really like the flowing sensation of oils. And I really like the scent - it's a subtle matcha scent, which I think people who like that will love. For the second cleansing, I do use a separate cleansing foam, but I feel the cleansing balm alone is sufficient. Basically, unlike some other cleansing balms that feel really thick and creamy or gritty, this one doesn't give me a stuffy or diminished cleansing sensation... so I really liked it.
