  I'm writing this review after receiving the product as a survey prize. Due to puff issues, I used a different puff - the Too Cool for School Fixing Nude puff. The shade is around 22-23, giving a calm and clean look. Being a BB cake, it has a slight grayish tint which worked well for my redness-prone skin. Considering its thin texture, it covers redness well and looks natural. When applied to textured areas, it covers well without feeling thick or heavy. The flexible formula blends easily when patted after initial application. As a moisturizing compact, it's suitable for dry or combination dehydrated skin types, especially during drier seasons.

  Cons

  The scent is too strong! It's like an artificial floral smell mixed with an unidentifiable ingredient odor. Personally, I think it would be better without any fragrance. There's also some darkening of the product. Without a primer, it tends to get oily, so those with oily skin might want to avoid it. When I checked the puff, I noticed some strange bluish-green color on the edge, which made me uncomfortable. So I used my own puff and couldn't evaluate the included one. Just by touch, the original puff felt soft and squishy. The case was also disappointing. It's not easy to attach the refill, and personally, I found the design lacking in elegance. While the product itself isn't bad, I think it would be better if they removed the fragrance and changed the puff and case colors to something cleaner and brighter.

  This foundation comes in a balm-like texture. I usually prefer to apply liquid foundations in thin layers, so I was initially concerned that the Lab Cera foundation might apply too thickly when picked up with an air puff. However, I was pleasantly surprised! When applied to the face, it spreads thinly with incredible adherence. To avoid over-application, I gently dabbed the puff onto my skin instead of rubbing, and the foundation clung perfectly. There was some pilling when I tried to rub it in, possibly due to incompatibility with my skincare products, so I had to pat it out carefully. In this dry weather, I've been mixing my foundation with moisturizer, but the Lab Cera foundation can be applied on its own without feeling dry or cakey. As someone with oily skin, I often struggle with makeup breakdown or complete fading by afternoon. I've tried many foundations known for their staying power on oily skin, but they often left my skin feeling parched. I'm thrilled that the Lab Cera foundation stays put even into the afternoon, providing excellent coverage without drying out my skin. It's become my new go-to!

  Be careful when applying to the face as there can be some pilling. This might be due to incompatibility with my skincare products. There's a slight grayish cast to the skin tone, reminiscent of older BB creams. While it doesn't feel dry, I do notice some excess oil production in the afternoon. These issues led me to deduct one star from my rating.

High sun protection With an impressive SPF 50+/ PA ++++ rating, this high sun protection factor is perfect for someone like me who finds applying sunscreen a hassle! 3. Formula well-suited for dry skin Having combination skin, I noticed that when applied to my face, it beautifully enhanced the dry areas. Highly recommended for those with dry skin!

  1) Packaging Personally, I found it a bit disappointing. 2) Color It has a grayish tint, which is a shame. It would be so pretty if that gray undertone was removed. 3) Price While not extremely expensive at around 30,000 won, the value for money is somewhat lacking. 4) Scent Personally, I wasn't too fond of the fragrance.

  Skin type: In winter, slightly dry around the mouth and cheeks. T-zone, butterfly zone, and sides of nose are quite oily. Prone to mild redness and frequent small blemishes. Applies thinly and feels lightweight. Easy to see how much product is left. Feels moisturizing when applied, with a soft finish. Can be used alone without sunscreen. Does a decent job of covering pores.

  Artificial scent: Personally, it smelled like rice wine to me... The scent was stronger than expected, which I didn't like. Grayish cast: As many have mentioned, it has a noticeable grayish tint. The color is a bit disappointing. Doesn't seem to absorb well into the puff. After covering areas like the butterfly zone, there's not enough product left on the puff to adequately cover the eyelids or nose. Though this could be because I'm not using enough product. Longevity is questionable... After about 3 hours, it breaks down quickly in oily areas like the forehead. Not particularly high coverage: As it applies thinly, it doesn't fully cover redness around the nose. I used the same amount as with other cushions... The price seems a bit steep... Since there are more cons than pros (especially the grayish cast...), I'll probably use something else.

  I actually hadn't purchased this type of product before because it seemed high-maintenance, but I got to try it through The Hwahae Testers! Skin type: combination dehydrated What I loved most were the lasting power, hydration, and ingredients. Ingredients: True to being a cosmetic made by a father for his daughter, the ingredients are fantastic! During seasonal changes when my skin usually acts up even with my regular products, I didn't experience any issues. I was so satisfied! Lasting power & hydration: My skin tends to be dry, but I don't touch up often. Usually, by afternoon, oil comes through and my makeup breaks down, so I preferred matte products. This meant I had to be more thorough with skincare, making mornings tedious. During seasonal changes, my skin would often crack or look patchy. With this product, I could reduce my skincare steps, yet it adhered well to my skin and lasted much longer than other hydrating products. I'm extremely pleased! I used to love glowing skin but avoided touch-ups. Now, this product gives me a subtle glow, and I've been getting compliments on my improved complexion - a nice bonus! For seasonal changes, use as normal. In very dry winters, be thorough with skincare. In summer, apply only where you want glow, or all over with light powder on oily areas like the nose. It's great for year-round use!

  Cons

  Color: It's not overly bright, there's a slight grayish tone. Being a hydrating product, it has a BB cream-like color. Maintenance: It's a solid foundation type, not a cushion in mesh, so it does attract some dust.

  Tip

  I sometimes mixed the color with my usual matte foundation, like mixing BB cream and foundation. You can also apply it easily by squeezing a bit onto the pact and blending with a puff for a brighter look. A brush works well too. Maintenance: Keeping the puff clean is crucial. If dust on the pact bothers you, you can remove it with scotch tape. I'm incredibly lazy and rarely used products like this, but this one won me over! I'm so satisfied that I plan to keep using it.

  It applies thinly and keeps skin hydrated. There's a slight grayish tint, but it blends well with the skin when applied in a thin layer. This product should be spread on rather than patted for a thin, moisturizing application with a cooling effect. I've never experienced a cooling sensation while applying makeup before, but this definitely feels like a hydrating type. Even when touching up, it didn't clump when I spread it. The coverage is medium.

  If you try to increase coverage by patting, it does improve, but the adherence becomes very poor (though it doesn't completely wipe off). It also has a grayish tint... It's fine if your goal is a BB cream. + I tried applying it fully again today, and the grayish tone wasn't noticeable, it just made my skin look brighter.

  Apply it thinly by spreading. It doesn't cake up and applies smoothly! Overall, it's a decent essence pact. Oh, and it seems quite moisturizing and gives a glowy finish. I find myself reaching for it often because you don't need to apply it meticulously - just quickly spreading it works well. It allows for very quick makeup application.

  The Lab Cera Hydrating Essence Pact A perfect product for when you want something lighter than a cushion! With ceramide ingredients to protect your skin, It's a balm-type with SPF 50+/PA++++ sun protection. As someone with dry skin, I'm completely satisfied as it doesn't cause severe tightness after use. I think it gives the prettiest skin finish when applied thinly! ⭐️ It has a slight cooling effect when applied and glides on smoothly. There's minimal pilling too! Since it's a balm type, if you want long-lasting wear, you'll definitely need to set it with powder! ⭐️ It also provides decent coverage! I love that it doesn't irritate my skin, cause redness, or trigger blemishes after use. Usually, balm-type products can feel heavy and cause breakouts due to their texture, but this one doesn't have those issues! In summary, it's great for daily use when your skin is in good condition and you want a light application before heading out! I think it might be more popular with those in their 40s and 50s than those in their 20s!

  Cons

  The downside is that it only comes in one shade. However, it's quite light, so I'd recommend it for shades 21-23. The color has a slightly grayish undertone, which might be hit or miss for some! As someone with tanned skin, it's a bit too light for me. I wish they'd release a darker shade. Even though I have dry skin and it doesn't cause tightness, it feels a bit matte. It's not exactly dewy or super hydrating.

  Tip

  For skincare, it's better to use essence products for hydration rather than creams, then apply this thinly before going out! I'm using it well as a daily alternative when I don't want to use cushion or foundation.
