Here's my review after using it for 2 weeks as part of The Hwahae Testers program: Week 1: Used only basic skincare line Exfoliating toner, emulsion for skin barrier, and basic moisturizing creams Week 2: Focused on functional skincare products Scent: Initially reminds me of herbal cough drops, but the middle and lingering notes are more like a subtle minty oil scent. It doesn't feel artificial, so it's not off-putting. The lingering scent has an elegant, high-end feel. Absorption: Excellent. Despite its water-like texture, it absorbs well without any discomfort. It's also non-irritating, making it suitable for various skin types. Even after shaving, there's minimal irritation. Interestingly, when used on normal skin without shaving, I felt a very slight tingling sensation. I'm not sure if it's due to my sensitive skin or the high noni content working on blemishes and inflammation, but it was barely noticeable. Given its strengths in treating inflammation, blemishes, and being gentle, it shouldn't be a problem. Application: It feels more watery than oily, absorbs quickly, and leaves minimal residue. The lack of oiliness means it doesn't glide on as smoothly as some products. As a result, it seems others also find they need to use a bit more product. Compared to products that spread easily or leave an oily residue, you might need to use slightly more. Even though the bottle is long with an extra-long dropper, a full dropper seems to be about the right amount. So while 60ml might seem generous for a serum, it's actually quite standard given the usage amount. (No need to worry about having too much product) I used 2/3 to a full dropper, but later switched to using 3/5 and then spreading an additional 1/5. You could also apply it in two separate layers to reduce overall usage. I preferred the layering method. Despite not feeling like a soothing cream or nourishing moisturizer, it seems to provide good hydration deep into the skin. Even during seasonal changes, using just this with an exfoliating toner and emulsion was enough to prevent dryness. While the testing period was short, the focus on noni extract and other ingredients seems to target skin barrier, elasticity, and wrinkles. I was satisfied with these aspects, but not enough to switch from my current products. I was actually more excited about potential improvements in complexion and skin tone from the vitamin C content, but disappointingly, I didn't notice any effects in this area. However, in the last 3 days of week 2, I switched to using some of my existing products including a vitamin C and propolis cream, and for some reason, my skin looked great during this time. My overall skin condition improved, making my complexion look better - just enough to be noticeable in the mirror in the morning. While it might not be strong enough to be the star product, its solid overall performance makes it great as a first step in your routine, helping to balance and improve your skin's condition. It shines as a supporting player. Not only noni, but also noni seed oil, forsythia extract, chinaberry leaf extract, tree flower extract, rosemary oil, and other ingredients seem to give the product a clear direction and character. The texture is nice, and while I didn't scrutinize every ingredient, they seem to be good quality without any greenwashing. I was satisfied with the product overall. It might not be cost-effective as a main product. It seems like something that people who invest a fair amount in their basic skincare might want to try once to decide if it's worth it for them. I recommend using 1/2 to 2/3 of a dropper, then applying an additional 1/4 dropper on top. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinOct 21, 2024
As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I've been dealing with seasonal changes and cold winds that left my face dry and irritated. I was looking for a product to soothe my sensitive skin and tackle deep dryness, and Twenty K's Noni Ampoule is a perfect match! When it comes to ampoules, I usually think of two types: 1. A fluid, non-sticky ampoule full of hydration, or 2. A thick, sticky ampoule with a runny nose-like texture. This one definitely falls into the first category. It applies smoothly and lightly, leaving a clean finish while being packed with hydration. Some might think it's too light, but since I'm used to layering skincare, it's actually ideal. It seems to focus more on hydration rather than moisturizing and nourishment, so I used it along with the collagen serum I received for a complete experience during the testing period. I typically use ampoules for night care, but this product is so gentle that I've been using it for day care as well! I've tried everything from dermatologist treatments to various products to combat deep dryness recently, and this ampoule manages to address it without feeling heavy. I love that it can be layered with other products! When used with a modeling mask, the synergy effect is doubled! I came to write a review, but I was shocked by the price! It's quite expensive. I might consider buying it during a sale though! - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinOct 21, 2024
Skin type: Combination dehydrated + blemish-prone (reacts sensitively with each season change) Experience: I tried this when my skin was acting up due to seasonal changes! My first impression was a light, cool hydration feeling. As I continued using it, I noticed it calmed my irritated skin while primarily addressing deep dryness. It's an ampoule that tackles deep dryness without being slippery - it's incredibly clean in how it replenishes moisture and lowers skin temperature. I was amazed that it could cool down my skin without needing refrigeration. Recommended for: This ampoule focuses on hydration rather than moisturizing, so those who absolutely hate stickiness will really love it! This product is so accurately targeted that I can't find any flaws with it. However, it's unfortunate that while it overlaps in concept with other brands' products, it falls short in terms of pricing. With its clean finish, I could layer this ampoule multiple times without any pilling issues! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinOct 21, 2024
Skin type: Combination dehydrated + Extremely dry + Super sensitive skin + Redness prone (Often sensitive to products despite good ingredients) Evaluation priorities: Ingredients, Hydration (oil and moisture balance), Non-sticky, Blemish-free, Soothing (Texture and appearance are not priorities) • Ingredients: Gentle formula, no eye irritation or skin sensitivity • Texture: Slightly runny, like thin mucus • Application: Absorbs quickly, leaving skin soft and non-sticky Purchase intention: 50% The dropper makes it easy to use. It applies smoothly and absorbs instantly. The scent is pleasant and not overwhelming. The gentle ingredients don't cause any tingling or pilling. However, I didn't notice any significant positive or negative effects on my skin. I had some blemishes during use, but applying this didn't seem to calm them down or have much impact. I used it alongside my regular cream, so I didn't experience dryness, but I also didn't feel noticeably more hydrated. I appreciated the gentle ingredients and that it didn't dry out my skin. I had hoped for blemish-soothing and texture-improving effects, but didn't see significant results there. The application is great - it absorbs quickly, leaving skin fresh and soft. It layers well under sunscreen without pilling, making it suitable for both morning and evening use. Overall, it's a good product with skin-friendly ingredients and generous volume. The reason my purchase intention isn't 100% is that it doesn't significantly outperform my current products for my skin type. However, it would likely suit most skin types well. (My skin typically responds better to ingredients like tea tree and Houttuynia cordata rather than Galactomyces or Niacinamide) There's nothing particularly disappointing about this product. If anything, the only slight drawback might be that it's a bit pricey, though you do get a generous amount of product. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinOct 21, 2024
The texture was thinner than expected and finished without any stickiness. It absorbed quickly and well, providing deep hydration that effectively combated deep dryness. Instead of using purified water, it contains noni extract which helped soothe redness. Even when layered multiple times, it didn't feel sticky and absorbed into the skin exceptionally well, making it great for calming and resolving deep dryness. I didn't experience any discomfort or disappointment while using it. The only slight concern might be the higher price point, which could be a bit burdensome. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinOct 21, 2024
During the trial period, I used this product intensively every day, adding only a functional moisturizer to it. The rich hydration and excellent oil-moisture balance are great. For my combination dehydrated skin with severely dry forehead, cheeks, and nose bridge, applying multiple layers helps combat deep dryness. My skin became clearer. I noticed it myself, but others also commented on how clear my skin looked. Even when my skin was inflamed due to poor condition, there was almost no irritation. There was only a slight warming sensation initially, but it subsided and had a calming effect. Despite its runny texture, it absorbs well. Usually, this type of formula absorbs more slowly or sits on top if you apply too much, but this one sinks in perfectly after a few gentle pats. No artificial fragrance, just a subtle hint of cypress water scent. Zero harmful ingredients. I didn't have any disappointments with the product itself. Considering the price point, It would be nice if it came in a glass bottle or pump dispenser. If the price were adjusted or if it went on sale, I'd definitely purchase and use it regularly. After allowing it to absorb once all over, I gently reapplied two or three times on areas that needed extra attention. I tried using just this product for my night care routine. It seems like this skincare diet has improved my skin condition. *They also provided a collagen serum sample. I'll try it out and post a review later. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 19, 2024
The packaging and first impression were great - the glass ampoule bottle was securely fixed in the package! I was even more delighted to find they thoughtfully included a collagen sample. The application and texture are wonderful - it glides on the skin so smoothly and lightly. Unlike other heavier ampoules, you can apply it generously without worrying about blemishes, and it's not burdensome even with multiple applications. The hydration power is impressive, lasting well into the evening even during the dry autumn season (for my combination skin, at least). The gentle ingredients allowed me to use it morning and night without any irritation, even on my sensitive skin. I'm satisfied just knowing I can use it without causing blemishes and that it helps calm redness. The product seems to run out faster than expected, so you might feel like you need to buy a new one soon if you use it consistently. However, considering the price, the amount is quite generous, so it doesn't feel too wasteful. In fact, the pump dispenses smoothly, making it convenient to use without having to measure out small amounts repeatedly - that's a lucky break! When used in combination with a modeling rubber mask, I noticed a much more pronounced calming effect on my skin compared to using it alone. Overall assessment: It has a soothing effect on the skin and provides adequate hydration, so I'm considering repurchasing. I highly recommend this product, especially for those with super sensitive skin! - Hwahae UserDry SkinOct 19, 2024
I've been using this for two weeks. It has a light, fluid texture that applies smoothly. I like that there's hardly any scent. The best part is how quickly it absorbs into the skin, leaving no sticky residue and giving a cool, refreshing feeling. It seems perfect for those with blemishes or super sensitive skin. It's great for deep hydration. As someone with dry skin, I found the moisturizing effect a bit weak, although my skin did feel somewhat hydrated to the touch. The small bottle of collagen serum that came with it felt a bit more hydrating. Using this serum between my toner and moisturizer in my skincare routine made my skin feel more supple and the effects lasted longer. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 8, 2024
As someone who has used almost every ampoule out there, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked the Twenty K ampoule on my first try! Unlike most ampoules that seem to evaporate quickly, leaving my skin feeling dry after a few minutes, the Twenty K ampoule keeps my skin hydrated for a long time without any deep dryness. It gives me that coveted Inner Glow while providing lightweight hydration. Recently, I've started working out, which has increased the heat in my face. After using a sheet mask, I lightly apply this ampoule followed by a moisturizer, and by the next day, any redness in my face has subsided. It's amazing! Plus, I love that it comes in such a generous amount. There wasn't much I disliked, but if I had to nitpick, I'd say it feels a bit too watery. Three to four times a week, after exfoliating, I lightly use an exfoliating toner. Instead of feeling like I'm applying the ampoule, it's more like I'm laying it on top of my skin. Then I follow up with a modeling mask. It's absolutely fantastic! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinOct 5, 2024
First off, the texture is lightweight and flows smoothly when applied. As someone with super sensitive skin, I loved how it calmed my skin without any burning sensation! The slight stickiness that remains after application is actually nice. The scent reminds me of fresh herbs, not too strong, which I found pleasant. It absorbs quickly, so I've been using it to boost hydration before makeup as we're entering the drier autumn season. The collagen ampoule from the same line has a similar texture and finish, with a subtle floral scent, so I think the whole line would be agreeable in terms of fragrance. Another plus is the transparent case, which makes it easy to check how much product is left - definitely a feature I appreciate! While the slight stickiness that remains after application might be a bit disappointing for some, it's not heavy, so it didn't really bother me much. When I applied it around my eyes before makeup, it helped reduce creasing!
