I only knew noni as a health supplement, so I was curious how it would work in skincare. The slightly runny texture contains nearly 87% noni fruit extract, and its green bubbly appearance is oddly pretty. It has an herbal, slightly sharp scent similar to other products I use for my blemish-prone skin, which quickly dissipates. This made me realize it doesn't contain unnecessary artificial fragrances. The moisturizing, silky application feels nice and absorbs well. I love that the dropper allows me to control the amount and feels hygienic. While it can be slightly itchy at times, it's not too sticky and feels lightweight, which I appreciate. It also helps with redness. I didn't realize how expensive it was at first. Although the volume is generous for an ampoule, I feel like I'll use it up quickly, which is a bit disappointing. After using a toner pad, it stings slightly around my nose area, but that might be because I have super sensitive skin and applied it to already irritated skin. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinOct 21, 2024
User skin type: DSNT (Dry, Sensitive, No major blemishes, but frequent minor breakouts) After using the Twenty Kenny Noni Ampoule for about 2 weeks, here's my honest review. If you have very sensitive skin like me, please take note. First off, I was quite satisfied with the product's scent and how it absorbs! The viscous texture doesn't evaporate immediately after application, keeping the skin moisturized for a long time. 1. My skin gets very dry, both inside and out, especially in autumn 2. Watery formulas don't feel like they're doing anything 3. I usually layer my toners 4. My skin isn't extremely sensitive (For example, products with eucalyptus or rosemary oils don't irritate my skin) I'd recommend this to those with the above concerns. As you can see in the photo, the slightly viscous texture seems perfect for those with dry skin! And For those who are sensitive... but don't find their skin stinging at the slightest touch or find gentle exfoliating products not too irritating, I'd like to recommend this product Yes! I highly recommend this product for those with both surface and deep dryness. However.. 1. If your skin itches or stings when gently rubbed 2. If you don't get along with "rosemary leaf oil" (I think that's my case...) 3. If your skin gets irritated even with non-contact exfoliation I'm sorry, but I can't recommend this to those with sensitive skin who have these concerns. If you're sensitive to rosemary leaf, one of the ingredients in the ampoule, it might not work well for you. That was the case for me. When I applied the ampoule, my skin felt heated, which I think was a point of irritation for my skin. I didn't notice significant changes in brightening or wrinkle improvement (I think that's because it's only been about 2 weeks). Since the skin is a sensitive area that requires a lot of attention, ingredients that cause irritation show effects immediately upon application. I hope this review helps... For any product, rather than just looking at whether it contains beneficial ingredients, please make sure to consider if those good ingredients are suitable for 'your skin' when purchasing products. Even a slight breakdown in the skin barrier requires a lot of effort to recover, doesn't it? (Those who have experienced it already know, but I'm leaving this additional note hoping that everyone will consider a bit more carefully when choosing what's good for their skin, wishing for everyone to achieve honey-like skin) "While it didn't work for me due to a certain ingredient, the hydrating power was definitely there. I'm glad I got to try a good noni product. Thank you always, Hwahae" - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinOct 20, 2024
Skin Type: Sensitive + Combination + Combination Dehydrated Occasional blemishes appear. Texture and Application: This serum has a thin consistency. It finishes with a fresh feel and absorbs incredibly quickly. Volume and Price: Currently, it's sold on the official website for $50 for 60ml. While the noni content is high (87.6%) and you get a generous amount of serum, I didn't find the effects to be dramatically impressive, so it doesn't seem particularly cost-effective to me. Overall Review and Advantages: 'Satisfactory for deep dryness, minimal stickiness, absorbs well, doesn't cause blemishes, recommended for seasonal changes, mild soothing effect' It definitely addresses deep dryness well. Despite its thin consistency and fresh finish, it provides excellent hydration. Even with just one application, I didn't feel any dryness. It absorbs so quickly that it's great for layering. However, I didn't notice a significant soothing effect. Before using it, I had some blemishes and used it for about a week with some expectations, but for my skin, the soothing effect wasn't particularly noticeable. It contains ceramides and tackles deep dryness well, so I think it's suitable for combination skin like mine, especially during seasonal transitions. Drawbacks and Precautions: While I didn't experience any blemishes after use, I felt a slight burning sensation in the area above my upper lip immediately after applying the serum. I think this is because the skin around my mouth and above my upper lip is naturally thinner and more sensitive. - Hwahae UserDry SkinOct 20, 2024
Texture: Thin and runny consistency Scent: Mild herbal fragrance Absorbs quickly without any stickiness. For dry skin, it's not quite moisturizing enough, but it doesn't cause tightness. It's suitable on its own in summer, but you'll need additional hydration in fall and winter. After a two-week trial on blemish-prone skin, it had minimal effect on larger blemishes but showed improvement on smaller ones and areas with redness. As the redness decreased, it gave a brightening effect, making the skin look more radiant. The pores also seemed slightly reduced. The elongated container is great as it dispenses a generous amount in one go. Upon application, there's a burning and tingling sensation similar to applying fresh aloe vera. This feeling subsides quickly once absorbed and doesn't cause blemishes, but it's worth noting that the complimentary collagen sample had the same burning sensation. - Hwahae UserDry SkinOct 17, 2024
1. Quantity The generous amount you get for the price is great. It's nice to be able to use it liberally without worrying about running out. 2. Scent The fragrance might be polarizing. I expected a more traditional, medicinal smell since noni is the main ingredient, but it's not like that at all. It has a minty scent with a slightly spicy note and a sweet undertone. It's reminiscent of tiger balm, but milder and sweeter. 3. Texture Unlike most soothing serums that tend to be thin, this one has a bit of viscosity. It feels like a light, watery gel. It's very hydrating and gives a cooling sensation when applied. It spreads easily and leaves the skin feeling comfortably moisturized. 1. Blemishes Unfortunately, this product didn't agree with my skin. I have sensitive skin and some scarring from a previous procedure, which makes me prone to irritation. When I use products that don't suit me or cause allergic reactions, I usually feel a tingling sensation around my eyes. This product triggered that response. Even when I tried applying it to other areas, my skin's condition worsened, so I had to stop using it. It's not necessarily a problem with the product itself, just that it wasn't compatible with my skin.
