Skin type: Combination dehydrated + blemish-prone (reacts sensitively with each season change) Experience: I tried this when my skin was acting up due to seasonal changes! My first impression was a light, cool hydration feeling. As I continued using it, I noticed it calmed my irritated skin while primarily addressing deep dryness. It's an ampoule that tackles deep dryness without being slippery - it's incredibly clean in how it replenishes moisture and lowers skin temperature. I was amazed that it could cool down my skin without needing refrigeration. Recommended for: This ampoule focuses on hydration rather than moisturizing, so those who absolutely hate stickiness will really love it! This product is so accurately targeted that I can't find any flaws with it. However, it's unfortunate that while it overlaps in concept with other brands' products, it falls short in terms of pricing. With its clean finish, I could layer this ampoule multiple times without any pilling issues! - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinOct 21, 2024
The texture was thinner than expected and finished without any stickiness. It absorbed quickly and well, providing deep hydration that effectively combated deep dryness. Instead of using purified water, it contains noni extract which helped soothe redness. Even when layered multiple times, it didn't feel sticky and absorbed into the skin exceptionally well, making it great for calming and resolving deep dryness. I didn't experience any discomfort or disappointment while using it. The only slight concern might be the higher price point, which could be a bit burdensome. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinOct 20, 2024
I've been using this for almost two weeks now, so here's my review. I'm in my mid-20s and suddenly started getting adult acne on my forehead. Skin Soothing: It definitely has a calming effect! Lately, every emulsion I used seemed to increase my blemishes, which was stressing me out. Even using cica pads made my acne worse, but the day after using this, I noticed a slight improvement. It's a subtle difference that only I can tell! Scent: I love the noni scent, so I was really satisfied! The cool smell makes me feel good after application. Cooling Finish: I love how it cools my skin after application. It's refreshing, and for an ampoule, it's not sticky at all. It flows like water, so my skin doesn't feel suffocated. Perfect for those who hate that heavy feeling on their skin. Convenience: It comes with a dropper, which dispenses a good amount at once, making it convenient. I think it's because the dropper is longer. I used to find it annoying having to dispense multiple times with smaller ones before. Price: It's a bit on the pricey side! Moisture: I personally don't mind the lack of stickiness, but if hydration is your top priority, you might not like it as much! One squeeze is just the right amount! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 19, 2024
*I have combination dehydrated and super sensitive skin. Please keep this in mind!* - Texture: It has a light, water-like feel, making it great to apply before makeup. The pleasant user experience and how well it absorbs make me reach for this product often! - Absorption: It absorbs well, so reapplying isn't burdensome, which is a big advantage. It has more hydration than richness, so as someone with oily skin, I used it very well. - Effects: It gives a slight cooling sensation when applied, and when I used it while my face felt too hot, it slightly calmed the redness. - The generous amount makes it great for layering, and I've been using it consistently because I love how cooling it feels! - Scent: It has a fragrance that might be divisive, but personally, I think this level of scent is fine. Those who are extremely sensitive to fragrances might slightly dislike it. - Value for money: As the amount is generous, it comes with a bit of a higher price tag. It seems like an ampoule that's great for light application in the morning! I recommend this for those who usually find serum ampoules burdensome, or for those with sensitive skin who prefer a moderately cooling sensation rather than an intensely cold one! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinOct 17, 2024
This is a review from one of The Hwahae Testers who won the product. Skin type: Combination dehydrated, prone to blemishes, sensitive I've been using this for about two weeks. The texture is moisturizing with a hydrating feel. It absorbs quickly into the skin and applies incredibly smoothly. I knew noni was a trendy ingredient, but I had never tried it before. After winning this from The Hwahae Testers and using it for the first time, I can say it's truly excellent for soothing the skin. As someone who constantly deals with blemishes, I've tried many serums known for calming effects, like tea tree, but this one tops them all. Over the past few days of using this serum, my blemishes have significantly subsided. Moreover, I have super sensitive skin that tends to react with redness and itching when using incompatible products. However, this product caused no such reactions. Instead, it left my skin incredibly moisturized and well-soothed. If I had to find one minor drawback, it would be that the dropper in the bottle is a bit stiff. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 17, 2024
Texture: The lightweight formula feels airy when applied. Application: It's non-sticky and light, making it perfect for layering. It has a gentle feel, causing no irritation even on sensitive skin. I noticed slight improvements in redness and saw a calming effect on small blemishes. It pairs well with other products and is great for layering the ampoule itself. It provides hydration and absorbs well, making it suitable to use before makeup. Scent: A subtle blend of herbal and floral notes, not overpowering and likely to be universally appealing. Due to its quick absorption, the skin can feel dry soon after application, making a moisturizer essential. While it offers some calming effects, it seems to plateau at a certain point. For those who prefer a minimalist skincare routine, this ampoule can double as both an ampoule and toner. Layering it multiple times on areas with small blemishes can lead to faster visible results. Applying a thick layer of moisturizer over the ampoule before bed leaves the skin feeling deeply hydrated until the next morning, without any dryness. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 12, 2024
I was initially unfamiliar with this brand, but I won the noni ampoule in a giveaway and gave it a try! The 90% noni content and great ingredients have me using it daily now. The texture is a slightly thin ampoule that absorbs quickly, leaving only moisture behind. It's excellent for deep hydration, and thanks to the noni, it works wonders for soothing blemishes. The scent, to me, seems floral, which I don't mind at all. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with how it feels and performs. I can't find any downsides to this product... If anything, I want to recommend it even more! Among the many noni ampoules out there these days, I think this one takes the top spot! After cleansing, I use this routine: toner pad > noni ampoule > cream. I've been doing this often lately, and it's perfect for deep hydration, finished off with a cream for ultimate skin soothing. The next day, my skin feels incredibly calm. I also love using the ampoule as a mask by soaking three cotton pads and laying them on my face - it's amazing! I highly recommend this noni ampoule. Once again, thank you to The Hwahae Testers for selecting me for this event. Please note that this review contains my personal opinions. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinOct 5, 2024
First off, the texture is lightweight and flows smoothly when applied. As someone with super sensitive skin, I loved how it calmed my skin without any burning sensation! The slight stickiness that remains after application is actually nice. The scent reminds me of fresh herbs, not too strong, which I found pleasant. It absorbs quickly, so I've been using it to boost hydration before makeup as we're entering the drier autumn season. The collagen ampoule from the same line has a similar texture and finish, with a subtle floral scent, so I think the whole line would be agreeable in terms of fragrance. Another plus is the transparent case, which makes it easy to check how much product is left - definitely a feature I appreciate! While the slight stickiness that remains after application might be a bit disappointing for some, it's not heavy, so it didn't really bother me much. When I applied it around my eyes before makeup, it helped reduce creasing!
