As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I've been dealing with seasonal changes and cold winds that left my face dry and irritated. I was looking for a product to soothe my sensitive skin and tackle deep dryness, and Twenty K's Noni Ampoule is a perfect match! When it comes to ampoules, I usually think of two types: 1. A fluid, non-sticky ampoule full of hydration, or 2. A thick, sticky ampoule with a runny nose-like texture. This one definitely falls into the first category. It applies smoothly and lightly, leaving a clean finish while being packed with hydration. Some might think it's too light, but since I'm used to layering skincare, it's actually ideal. It seems to focus more on hydration rather than moisturizing and nourishment, so I used it along with the collagen serum I received for a complete experience during the testing period. I typically use ampoules for night care, but this product is so gentle that I've been using it for day care as well! I've tried everything from dermatologist treatments to various products to combat deep dryness recently, and this ampoule manages to address it without feeling heavy. I love that it can be layered with other products! When used with a modeling mask, the synergy effect is doubled! I came to write a review, but I was shocked by the price! It's quite expensive. I might consider buying it during a sale though! - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinOct 21, 2024
Skin type: Combination dehydrated + blemish-prone (reacts sensitively with each season change) Experience: I tried this when my skin was acting up due to seasonal changes! My first impression was a light, cool hydration feeling. As I continued using it, I noticed it calmed my irritated skin while primarily addressing deep dryness. It's an ampoule that tackles deep dryness without being slippery - it's incredibly clean in how it replenishes moisture and lowers skin temperature. I was amazed that it could cool down my skin without needing refrigeration. Recommended for: This ampoule focuses on hydration rather than moisturizing, so those who absolutely hate stickiness will really love it! This product is so accurately targeted that I can't find any flaws with it. However, it's unfortunate that while it overlaps in concept with other brands' products, it falls short in terms of pricing. With its clean finish, I could layer this ampoule multiple times without any pilling issues! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinOct 21, 2024
User skin type: DSNT (Dry, Sensitive, No major blemishes, but frequent minor breakouts) After using the Twenty Kenny Noni Ampoule for about 2 weeks, here's my honest review. If you have very sensitive skin like me, please take note. First off, I was quite satisfied with the product's scent and how it absorbs! The viscous texture doesn't evaporate immediately after application, keeping the skin moisturized for a long time. 1. My skin gets very dry, both inside and out, especially in autumn 2. Watery formulas don't feel like they're doing anything 3. I usually layer my toners 4. My skin isn't extremely sensitive (For example, products with eucalyptus or rosemary oils don't irritate my skin) I'd recommend this to those with the above concerns. As you can see in the photo, the slightly viscous texture seems perfect for those with dry skin! And For those who are sensitive... but don't find their skin stinging at the slightest touch or find gentle exfoliating products not too irritating, I'd like to recommend this product Yes! I highly recommend this product for those with both surface and deep dryness. However.. 1. If your skin itches or stings when gently rubbed 2. If you don't get along with "rosemary leaf oil" (I think that's my case...) 3. If your skin gets irritated even with non-contact exfoliation I'm sorry, but I can't recommend this to those with sensitive skin who have these concerns. If you're sensitive to rosemary leaf, one of the ingredients in the ampoule, it might not work well for you. That was the case for me. When I applied the ampoule, my skin felt heated, which I think was a point of irritation for my skin. I didn't notice significant changes in brightening or wrinkle improvement (I think that's because it's only been about 2 weeks). Since the skin is a sensitive area that requires a lot of attention, ingredients that cause irritation show effects immediately upon application. I hope this review helps... For any product, rather than just looking at whether it contains beneficial ingredients, please make sure to consider if those good ingredients are suitable for 'your skin' when purchasing products. Even a slight breakdown in the skin barrier requires a lot of effort to recover, doesn't it? (Those who have experienced it already know, but I'm leaving this additional note hoping that everyone will consider a bit more carefully when choosing what's good for their skin, wishing for everyone to achieve honey-like skin) "While it didn't work for me due to a certain ingredient, the hydrating power was definitely there. I'm glad I got to try a good noni product. Thank you always, Hwahae" - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 21, 2024
Overall impression: Honestly, I couldn't really tell the difference whether I applied it or not. It felt like a green magical potion with uncertain effects from the noni. (However, I'm grateful to have been selected as a Hwahae Tester and used the product well. I'll continue using it until the end.) Product texture and scent: The consistency is thicker than an essence but slightly thinner than an ampoule, giving a comfortably moisturizing feel. The scent is pleasantly fresh and herbal. Application: It doesn't feel overly wet or sticky, so it doesn't cause pilling or interfere with makeup. It blends well with other cosmetic products. However, it doesn't provide an intense hydration or soothing effect that would make your skin feel completely moisturized or calmed. Blemishes: I'm not sure if it's the noni that doesn't agree with me, this specific product, or an issue with my immunity, but I experienced some small bumps and blemishes. Even if it wasn't caused by this product, it didn't seem to have any particular soothing effect on existing blemishes. Product advantages: It's a good ampoule to add an extra step when you feel like just toner isn't enough before applying cream or makeup. It helps alleviate that guilty feeling of not doing enough for your skin. The scent was pleasant. Firstly, the packaging was a bit inconvenient. Compared to other shorter, wider ampoule bottles, this one is longer, making it somewhat awkward to pull out the dropper. Secondly, the benefits typically associated with noni, such as skin soothing and barrier strengthening, seemed minimal. I used it by applying a light layer of the ampoule after toner, followed by an emulsion or moisturizer. Whether I used it or not, there didn't seem to be any noticeable difference in terms of added hydration or glow. It felt like there was little change whether I applied it or skipped it. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinOct 21, 2024
The texture was thinner than expected and finished without any stickiness. It absorbed quickly and well, providing deep hydration that effectively combated deep dryness. Instead of using purified water, it contains noni extract which helped soothe redness. Even when layered multiple times, it didn't feel sticky and absorbed into the skin exceptionally well, making it great for calming and resolving deep dryness. I didn't experience any discomfort or disappointment while using it. The only slight concern might be the higher price point, which could be a bit burdensome. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinOct 21, 2024
During the trial period, I used this product intensively every day, adding only a functional moisturizer to it. The rich hydration and excellent oil-moisture balance are great. For my combination dehydrated skin with severely dry forehead, cheeks, and nose bridge, applying multiple layers helps combat deep dryness. My skin became clearer. I noticed it myself, but others also commented on how clear my skin looked. Even when my skin was inflamed due to poor condition, there was almost no irritation. There was only a slight warming sensation initially, but it subsided and had a calming effect. Despite its runny texture, it absorbs well. Usually, this type of formula absorbs more slowly or sits on top if you apply too much, but this one sinks in perfectly after a few gentle pats. No artificial fragrance, just a subtle hint of cypress water scent. Zero harmful ingredients. I didn't have any disappointments with the product itself. Considering the price point, It would be nice if it came in a glass bottle or pump dispenser. If the price were adjusted or if it went on sale, I'd definitely purchase and use it regularly. After allowing it to absorb once all over, I gently reapplied two or three times on areas that needed extra attention. I tried using just this product for my night care routine. It seems like this skincare diet has improved my skin condition. *They also provided a collagen serum sample. I'll try it out and post a review later. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 19, 2024
*I have combination dehydrated and super sensitive skin. Please keep this in mind!* - Texture: It has a light, water-like feel, making it great to apply before makeup. The pleasant user experience and how well it absorbs make me reach for this product often! - Absorption: It absorbs well, so reapplying isn't burdensome, which is a big advantage. It has more hydration than richness, so as someone with oily skin, I used it very well. - Effects: It gives a slight cooling sensation when applied, and when I used it while my face felt too hot, it slightly calmed the redness. - The generous amount makes it great for layering, and I've been using it consistently because I love how cooling it feels! - Scent: It has a fragrance that might be divisive, but personally, I think this level of scent is fine. Those who are extremely sensitive to fragrances might slightly dislike it. - Value for money: As the amount is generous, it comes with a bit of a higher price tag. It seems like an ampoule that's great for light application in the morning! I recommend this for those who usually find serum ampoules burdensome, or for those with sensitive skin who prefer a moderately cooling sensation rather than an intensely cold one! - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 18, 2024
I was worried about testing this product when my skin was acting up before my period, but after using the Noni Ampoule for two weeks, my skin improved significantly! As someone with combination dehydrated skin prone to blemishes, I'm usually careful about choosing products to test. I've known for a while that 'Noni' is good for blemishes, so I applied to be one of The Hwahae Testers with high hopes. The dropper-style packaging and thin consistency mean you can cover your whole face with just a small amount. It feels hydrating when applied, absorbs well with almost no stickiness. When used in the order of ampoule-gel-cream, the hydration lasts until morning. The scent is very subtle and natural, so I think most people would like it. While using this, my blemishes have calmed down significantly, and my skin hasn't had any major breakouts, so I'm really satisfied. There's nothing bad to say! It's a great product that works well for most people! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinOct 17, 2024
This is a review from one of The Hwahae Testers who won the product. Skin type: Combination dehydrated, prone to blemishes, sensitive I've been using this for about two weeks. The texture is moisturizing with a hydrating feel. It absorbs quickly into the skin and applies incredibly smoothly. I knew noni was a trendy ingredient, but I had never tried it before. After winning this from The Hwahae Testers and using it for the first time, I can say it's truly excellent for soothing the skin. As someone who constantly deals with blemishes, I've tried many serums known for calming effects, like tea tree, but this one tops them all. Over the past few days of using this serum, my blemishes have significantly subsided. Moreover, I have super sensitive skin that tends to react with redness and itching when using incompatible products. However, this product caused no such reactions. Instead, it left my skin incredibly moisturized and well-soothed. If I had to find one minor drawback, it would be that the dropper in the bottle is a bit stiff. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 17, 2024
Texture: The lightweight formula feels airy when applied. Application: It's non-sticky and light, making it perfect for layering. It has a gentle feel, causing no irritation even on sensitive skin. I noticed slight improvements in redness and saw a calming effect on small blemishes. It pairs well with other products and is great for layering the ampoule itself. It provides hydration and absorbs well, making it suitable to use before makeup. Scent: A subtle blend of herbal and floral notes, not overpowering and likely to be universally appealing. Due to its quick absorption, the skin can feel dry soon after application, making a moisturizer essential. While it offers some calming effects, it seems to plateau at a certain point. For those who prefer a minimalist skincare routine, this ampoule can double as both an ampoule and toner. Layering it multiple times on areas with small blemishes can lead to faster visible results. Applying a thick layer of moisturizer over the ampoule before bed leaves the skin feeling deeply hydrated until the next morning, without any dryness.
