As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I've been dealing with seasonal changes and cold winds that left my face dry and irritated. I was looking for a product to soothe my sensitive skin and tackle deep dryness, and Twenty K's Noni Ampoule is a perfect match! When it comes to ampoules, I usually think of two types: 1. A fluid, non-sticky ampoule full of hydration, or 2. A thick, sticky ampoule with a runny nose-like texture. This one definitely falls into the first category. It applies smoothly and lightly, leaving a clean finish while being packed with hydration. Some might think it's too light, but since I'm used to layering skincare, it's actually ideal. It seems to focus more on hydration rather than moisturizing and nourishment, so I used it along with the collagen serum I received for a complete experience during the testing period. I typically use ampoules for night care, but this product is so gentle that I've been using it for day care as well! I've tried everything from dermatologist treatments to various products to combat deep dryness recently, and this ampoule manages to address it without feeling heavy. I love that it can be layered with other products! When used with a modeling mask, the synergy effect is doubled! I came to write a review, but I was shocked by the price! It's quite expensive. I might consider buying it during a sale though! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinOct 21, 2024
Skin type: Combination dehydrated + Extremely dry + Super sensitive skin + Redness prone (Often sensitive to products despite good ingredients) Evaluation priorities: Ingredients, Hydration (oil and moisture balance), Non-sticky, Blemish-free, Soothing (Texture and appearance are not priorities) • Ingredients: Gentle formula, no eye irritation or skin sensitivity • Texture: Slightly runny, like thin mucus • Application: Absorbs quickly, leaving skin soft and non-sticky Purchase intention: 50% The dropper makes it easy to use. It applies smoothly and absorbs instantly. The scent is pleasant and not overwhelming. The gentle ingredients don't cause any tingling or pilling. However, I didn't notice any significant positive or negative effects on my skin. I had some blemishes during use, but applying this didn't seem to calm them down or have much impact. I used it alongside my regular cream, so I didn't experience dryness, but I also didn't feel noticeably more hydrated. I appreciated the gentle ingredients and that it didn't dry out my skin. I had hoped for blemish-soothing and texture-improving effects, but didn't see significant results there. The application is great - it absorbs quickly, leaving skin fresh and soft. It layers well under sunscreen without pilling, making it suitable for both morning and evening use. Overall, it's a good product with skin-friendly ingredients and generous volume. The reason my purchase intention isn't 100% is that it doesn't significantly outperform my current products for my skin type. However, it would likely suit most skin types well. (My skin typically responds better to ingredients like tea tree and Houttuynia cordata rather than Galactomyces or Niacinamide) There's nothing particularly disappointing about this product. If anything, the only slight drawback might be that it's a bit pricey, though you do get a generous amount of product. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinOct 21, 2024
The texture was thinner than expected and finished without any stickiness. It absorbed quickly and well, providing deep hydration that effectively combated deep dryness. Instead of using purified water, it contains noni extract which helped soothe redness. Even when layered multiple times, it didn't feel sticky and absorbed into the skin exceptionally well, making it great for calming and resolving deep dryness. I didn't experience any discomfort or disappointment while using it. The only slight concern might be the higher price point, which could be a bit burdensome. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 21, 2024
- High concentration (87.8%) of noni extract!!!! - Absorbs well when spread and massaged into the skin. - No sticky feeling. - Improves skin texture -> Visibly refines dull-looking skin, feels smoother to the touch. - Redness subsides by the next morning (including blemish-related redness). - No new blemishes after use!!!! - Generous amount of product. - Feels like it's gradually improving overall skin health. - The scent is ambiguous... Not sure if there's a fragrance or not (I have allergies, so I'm uncertain) - Price can be a bit steep without a sale As the cold winds started blowing, my face suddenly became dry, so I switched from using a hydrating moisturizer to a more nourishing cream after applying serum. To see the full effects of the serum, make sure to keep your skin well-moisturized! - Hwahae UserDry SkinOct 20, 2024
Texture: Thin and runny consistency Scent: Mild herbal fragrance Absorbs quickly without any stickiness. For dry skin, it's not quite moisturizing enough, but it doesn't cause tightness. It's suitable on its own in summer, but you'll need additional hydration in fall and winter. After a two-week trial on blemish-prone skin, it had minimal effect on larger blemishes but showed improvement on smaller ones and areas with redness. As the redness decreased, it gave a brightening effect, making the skin look more radiant. The pores also seemed slightly reduced. The elongated container is great as it dispenses a generous amount in one go. Upon application, there's a burning and tingling sensation similar to applying fresh aloe vera. This feeling subsides quickly once absorbed and doesn't cause blemishes, but it's worth noting that the complimentary collagen sample had the same burning sensation. - Hwahae UserDry SkinOct 19, 2024
I've been using this for two weeks. It has a light, fluid texture that applies smoothly. I like that there's hardly any scent. The best part is how quickly it absorbs into the skin, leaving no sticky residue and giving a cool, refreshing feeling. It seems perfect for those with blemishes or super sensitive skin. It's great for deep hydration. As someone with dry skin, I found the moisturizing effect a bit weak, although my skin did feel somewhat hydrated to the touch. The small bottle of collagen serum that came with it felt a bit more hydrating. Using this serum between my toner and moisturizer in my skincare routine made my skin feel more supple and the effects lasted longer. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 18, 2024
I was worried about testing this product when my skin was acting up before my period, but after using the Noni Ampoule for two weeks, my skin improved significantly! As someone with combination dehydrated skin prone to blemishes, I'm usually careful about choosing products to test. I've known for a while that 'Noni' is good for blemishes, so I applied to be one of The Hwahae Testers with high hopes. The dropper-style packaging and thin consistency mean you can cover your whole face with just a small amount. It feels hydrating when applied, absorbs well with almost no stickiness. When used in the order of ampoule-gel-cream, the hydration lasts until morning. The scent is very subtle and natural, so I think most people would like it. While using this, my blemishes have calmed down significantly, and my skin hasn't had any major breakouts, so I'm really satisfied. There's nothing bad to say! It's a great product that works well for most people! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 17, 2024
Texture: The lightweight formula feels airy when applied. Application: It's non-sticky and light, making it perfect for layering. It has a gentle feel, causing no irritation even on sensitive skin. I noticed slight improvements in redness and saw a calming effect on small blemishes. It pairs well with other products and is great for layering the ampoule itself. It provides hydration and absorbs well, making it suitable to use before makeup. Scent: A subtle blend of herbal and floral notes, not overpowering and likely to be universally appealing. Due to its quick absorption, the skin can feel dry soon after application, making a moisturizer essential. While it offers some calming effects, it seems to plateau at a certain point. For those who prefer a minimalist skincare routine, this ampoule can double as both an ampoule and toner. Layering it multiple times on areas with small blemishes can lead to faster visible results. Applying a thick layer of moisturizer over the ampoule before bed leaves the skin feeling deeply hydrated until the next morning, without any dryness.
