This toner is surprisingly hydrating and soothing, exceeding my expectations. As someone with truly problematic skin, I usually react quickly to unsuitable toners. However, this product seems to be a perfect match - I've had no adverse reactions whatsoever. It feels especially gentle on the skin! I think it also works well as an exfoliating toner. The container lid closes securely and it's easy to control the amount dispensed, so I don't have any complaints. I highly recommend using it as an exfoliating toner mask! - Hwahae UserDry SkinJun 24, 2024
It absorbs well! Despite its watery texture, once it's absorbed into the face, you can feel a subtle firmness. Here's a pro tip: using it in a bubble container makes it more convenient to apply and ensures it absorbs completely without leaving any residue. I had to use this while hospitalized, and during that time, I experienced no blemishes. It even helped soothe areas irritated by adhesive allergies. I didn't see significant soothing effects on redness or existing acne. I didn't notice much improvement in calming redness or already-formed pimples. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 24, 2024
I have a skin type that struggles with blemishes of all sizes, but after using this toner, I could visibly see how much it calmed my skin! As a pregnant woman, I'm also sensitive to fragrances, so the fact that it's unscented made it even more comfortable to use. The formula is quite watery, so you need to make sure it absorbs well. Also, the usage instructions sticker on the product is only in English, not Korean, which makes it a bit inconvenient to use. When I soaked a cotton pad with the toner and used it as a mask, it really helped calm my blemishes. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJun 22, 2024
True to its calming nature, this toner gives a soothing sensation. Its water-based formula provides just the right amount of hydration without feeling heavy, making it perfect for summer! I'd recommend this product for those with oily, combination, or combination dehydrated skin rather than dry skin types. I honestly can't think of any downsides! Even with my super sensitive skin, I didn't experience any blemishes or irritation. Personally, I loved using this as a toner mask by soaking cotton pads in it! The generous amount and water-based formula mean you can use it liberally without running out quickly. When your face feels hot, try applying aloe vera and then placing cotton pads soaked in this calming toner on top - it works wonders for reducing those tiny bumps! It's absolutely top-notch! - Hwahae UserDry SkinJun 22, 2024
I love how moisturizing it is! I'm using it as an exfoliating toner, and it's fantastic - there's plenty of product too. It's perfect for calming my super sensitive skin when it's acting up. I absolutely recommend it! There's honestly nothing bad to say! You get a lot of product, it's affordable, and the value for money is incredible! - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 21, 2024
This is a review from The Hwahae Testers. I always prefer to use toners by making them into pads! Texture: It was more watery than I expected, but this water-based formula was perfect for using as toner pads. Soothing: Great, I'm satisfied! After using it as a toner pack, it definitely calms my skin, which is very satisfying. Price: Considering the ingredients and performance, I don't think it's overpriced! Effectiveness: They call it a 30-second soothing toner, right? It definitely worked well for redness and calming! Applying it to the skin with pads or cotton pads was effective. I have super sensitive skin, and I appreciate how gentle it is. Repurchase: Yes! Since I use it by making pads, I go through it a bit faster, but I'm satisfied. I wonder if it could come pre-made as toner pads? I think that would be even better. Use it by making your own pads! It feels like it compensates for the limitations of a water-based toner! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 21, 2024
I wanted to leave a genuine review, so I'm finally writing this! Wow... I was amazed at how good it was while using it! And I'll definitely repurchase when I run out! What I loved about it is that it applies lightly, isn't sticky, has no fragrance, calms the skin quickly, has great ingredients, and is specifically for acne-prone skin. Plus, it's so moisturizing that when I wake up in the morning, my skin feels firm! I have skin prone to redness and used to be really stressed about it, but after using this toner, I could visibly see the redness diminishing, which was incredible! On days when my redness is severe, I soak a cotton pad generously and place it on my face, and it calms down quickly, so I don't need any other pads! I bought a ton of pads, but I'm not using them at all. Instead, I'm using this toner for exfoliating, toner masks, and absorption - it's that good! I'm ditching all other toners and sticking with this one. If there were any downsides, I'd mention them, but there really aren't any! If you have skin with small blemishes, you absolutely must try this. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJun 21, 2024
Usage Experience: I used this as toner pads, and it was great for calming blemishes that appeared before my period. As someone with sensitive dry skin, I noticed a nice, matte finish after the toner pack absorbed. Texture: It's a water-based toner! Flows easily like water with no viscosity at all. Exfoliation: Highly recommended! It effectively removes dead skin cells and refines skin texture without irritation. Scent: Seems to be fragrance-free. I didn't notice any particular smell while using it. Overall: I think this product is suitable for those with super sensitive skin, offering a fresh finish when used as an exfoliating toner or toner pack. If I had to pick something, maybe the cap area? The formula tends to drip when dispensing into your hand. Pro tip: You can create a DIY version by purchasing self-toner pad products from Daiso or Olive Young for a budget-friendly option. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJun 21, 2024
The formula is a water-based texture perfect for use as an exfoliating toner, with a nearly unscented fragrance that shouldn't be polarizing. As it's a toner that's good for soothing and blemishes, I often used it like a mask by soaking a cotton pad after applying only a soothing product following my exfoliating toner routine. It definitely got rid of my small bumps. While I didn't have inflamed, red blemishes, I did have several small, bumpy blemishes on my face. After using the cotton pad mask, my skin became noticeably smoother. So afterwards, I frequently used just this toner, layering it multiple times without applying anything else. While I intentionally used it alone to see more dramatic results after noticing its effectiveness, those with dry skin should probably apply several products carefully after this toner, like serums and creams. However, for those with oily skin and lots of blemishes, using it as a cotton pad mask should be sufficiently effective. Make sure to try using it as a mask by soaking a cotton pad generously! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJun 20, 2024
After my trip, my skin was a mess. Summer sun exposure left my face blotchy, and my acne-prone skin had bumpy whiteheads around the chin. I'm extremely satisfied with the results after using the Meditherapy Mugwort Toner for 5 days. The bumpy whiteheads have significantly reduced, and my blotchy skin has calmed down considerably. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I usually feel dry with just toner and emulsion, but with this mugwort toner and my usual emulsion, the hydration is great! I use about half a palm's worth... absorbing a generous amount into my face, and it's incredibly gentle. It has a water-like texture with no stickiness. It's also fragrance-free. I wish they had a smaller size available for when I'm traveling! I mainly use it as an essence toner. I pour about half a palm's worth, rub it between both hands, and then pat it into my skin to help it absorb.
