I have a skin type that struggles with blemishes of all sizes, but after using this toner, I could visibly see how much it calmed my skin! As a pregnant woman, I'm also sensitive to fragrances, so the fact that it's unscented made it even more comfortable to use. The formula is quite watery, so you need to make sure it absorbs well. Also, the usage instructions sticker on the product is only in English, not Korean, which makes it a bit inconvenient to use. When I soaked a cotton pad with the toner and used it as a mask, it really helped calm my blemishes. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 21, 2024
This is a review from The Hwahae Testers. I always prefer to use toners by making them into pads! Texture: It was more watery than I expected, but this water-based formula was perfect for using as toner pads. Soothing: Great, I'm satisfied! After using it as a toner pack, it definitely calms my skin, which is very satisfying. Price: Considering the ingredients and performance, I don't think it's overpriced! Effectiveness: They call it a 30-second soothing toner, right? It definitely worked well for redness and calming! Applying it to the skin with pads or cotton pads was effective. I have super sensitive skin, and I appreciate how gentle it is. Repurchase: Yes! Since I use it by making pads, I go through it a bit faster, but I'm satisfied. I wonder if it could come pre-made as toner pads? I think that would be even better. Use it by making your own pads! It feels like it compensates for the limitations of a water-based toner! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJun 21, 2024
Usage Experience: I used this as toner pads, and it was great for calming blemishes that appeared before my period. As someone with sensitive dry skin, I noticed a nice, matte finish after the toner pack absorbed. Texture: It's a water-based toner! Flows easily like water with no viscosity at all. Exfoliation: Highly recommended! It effectively removes dead skin cells and refines skin texture without irritation. Scent: Seems to be fragrance-free. I didn't notice any particular smell while using it. Overall: I think this product is suitable for those with super sensitive skin, offering a fresh finish when used as an exfoliating toner or toner pack. If I had to pick something, maybe the cap area? The formula tends to drip when dispensing into your hand. Pro tip: You can create a DIY version by purchasing self-toner pad products from Daiso or Olive Young for a budget-friendly option. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJun 21, 2024
The formula is a water-based texture perfect for use as an exfoliating toner, with a nearly unscented fragrance that shouldn't be polarizing. As it's a toner that's good for soothing and blemishes, I often used it like a mask by soaking a cotton pad after applying only a soothing product following my exfoliating toner routine. It definitely got rid of my small bumps. While I didn't have inflamed, red blemishes, I did have several small, bumpy blemishes on my face. After using the cotton pad mask, my skin became noticeably smoother. So afterwards, I frequently used just this toner, layering it multiple times without applying anything else. While I intentionally used it alone to see more dramatic results after noticing its effectiveness, those with dry skin should probably apply several products carefully after this toner, like serums and creams. However, for those with oily skin and lots of blemishes, using it as a cotton pad mask should be sufficiently effective. Make sure to try using it as a mask by soaking a cotton pad generously! - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 20, 2024
The 250ml size is perfect for exfoliating toner absorption packs! With the weather getting so hot, my redness has worsened, but when I apply this toner after cleansing, it cools down my face and has a calming effect that feels refreshing. It's said to be suitable for acne-prone skin, which is great for summer when I'm more prone to blemishes. It's gentle, so I don't have to worry about breakouts! Due to its watery consistency, you need to be careful when applying it. If you're not cautious, a significant amount of toner can slip through your fingers and go to waste! It's great to buy toner pack pads from discount stores, fill them with this toner, and use them for exfoliating or as a toner pack. It works hard for your skin! - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinJun 20, 2024
Skin Type: I have combination dehydrated skin with an oily T-zone and dry U-zone! Texture: The consistency is just perfect - not too thick and not watery either. It's right in the middle, which I absolutely love! Absorption: You can feel it absorbing instantly as you pat it in. Ingredients & Effects: It didn't cause any blemishes and seemed to have a calming effect on my skin. Scent: As someone sensitive to fragrances, I prefer unscented toners. This product is fragrance-free, which is great! There's honestly nothing I disliked about it! I tried this product without high expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised by how good it is. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinJun 19, 2024
As someone whose face completely breaks out due to caffeine, lack of sleep, and stress during exam periods, I was eager to try this product. The day I received it, I immediately did a toner pack to soothe my face. It felt so refreshing, and when I removed it, I noticed the redness had significantly calmed down! Thinking 'This is it!', I even used this toner instead of water in a modeling pack, which doubled the cooling effect without any stickiness - it felt so refreshing! Thanks to this, my blemishes subsided much faster than usual. When using it as a regular toner after cleansing, it absorbs quickly without any stickiness due to its water-like consistency, which I personally found very satisfying! I highly recommend this for oily skin types. For those with dry skin, I believe you can sufficiently address deep dryness by applying, letting it absorb, and repeating the process. Please make a larger size of this toner... I'm so disappointed it doesn't come in a bigger bottle! - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinJun 18, 2024
I have oily skin that lacks hydration, and I don't like sticky products. This toner has a water-like consistency, so it's not sticky at all. There's barely any scent too. Since I needed hydration, I applied it like a mask using thin cotton pads. I loved how quickly it absorbed due to its lightweight formula. Being summer, I soaked multiple cotton pads generously and kept them refrigerated. Using it cool helped reduce facial heat. I had high hopes for its acne-fighting ingredients, and it did help calm small blemishes. When I applied the chilled toner pack on spots where I'd extracted pimples, it soothed the inflammation. Because of its water-like texture, you need to pay attention to moisturizing after using this toner. While I appreciated the non-greasy feel, I found that without applying an oil-based cream on top, the hydration would evaporate, which was a bit disappointing. Try using it as a cold pack - it's great for reducing facial heat! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJun 18, 2024
I have sensitive and delicate skin that changes with my overall health. When I felt blemishes starting to appear, I used this product as an exfoliating toner for about a week, absorbing it with cotton pads to calm the breakouts. It's almost as gentle as water, causing virtually no irritation, so I've been using it daily. The scent is nearly undetectable unless you really put your nose to it. It also absorbs well into the skin. While using this product, I couldn't find any particular reasons to not recommend it. In fact, I thought it was quite suitable for use in this kind of weather. It's a clear liquid, nearly fragrance-free, and absorbs well into the skin. Use it once as an exfoliating toner, then apply it with a cotton pad! Always make sure your hands are clean before use. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinJun 18, 2024
For months, I've been searching for a lightweight toner that's easy to apply and helps soothe blemishes. That's when I came across the Mugwort Toner. I did some research on mugwort and found out it's great for creating clean, glowing skin while maintaining hydration and aiding skin regeneration. It contains both Artemisia Princeps and Artemisia Vulgaris extracts, making it suitable even for super sensitive skin like mine. The 250ml bottle is generously sized, perfect for regular use. It's ideal for calming irritated skin and suitable for acne-prone complexions too. After trying it myself, I'm really impressed with how light it feels and how easily it absorbs. It's convenient to apply with hands, and I love how quickly it sinks into the skin. I always feel a bit of heat on my face when I come home, but this toner quickly soothes my skin when I apply it. I think I've found the toner I've been looking for - it's great for sensitive and blemish-prone skin. So far, I haven't found any downsides while using it, but the toner cap is a bit small. It's not that the product doesn't come out well, but I wish the opening was just a little bit bigger. A pro tip from other reviews suggested keeping it in the fridge for a cooling effect. I tried this, and it definitely helps reduce skin heat. Highly recommend!
