  Skin type: Combination dehydrated & blemish-prone Reason for purchase: Bought it out of curiosity during a sale! Review after use: It doesn't irritate my skin, and the bubbles are rich and absorb well into the skin. It has a subtle herbal scent. I don't like sticky or greasy textures, but this applies smoothly, making it easy to use. Lately, my skin has been feeling tight after cleansing, so it's great to apply this right away.   Texture: As a bubble toner, it creates rich foam that absorbs well into the skin when applied! Though lightweight, it leaves the skin feeling firm and supple after use! What's even better is that it doesn't feel sticky at all! Ingredients: It contains 500DA low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid, which is great for hydration! It also includes a soothing active ingredient called TECA (Cica Active), which provides both a calming effect and a cooling sensation! For my dry skin, this bubble toner was fantastic at addressing deep dryness, leaving my skin feeling firm right down to its core! After application, my skin felt so plump that when I applied cream or emulsion on top, it felt like the moisture was truly locked in!

  I didn't find any downsides while using it! It would be great if it came in a larger size too!

  <October 20 - October 30> Used for 11 days total ✓ Skin type - Sensitive, blemish-prone, combination leaning towards dry (forehead, around eyes, mouth area, cheeks feel dry), severe blackheads and oiliness on nose ✓ Texture - Firm foam that spreads very lightly. Great that it leaves no residue on the skin, but those who prefer gel-like textures might not enjoy it! ✓ Skin temperature reduction - It gives a cool, refreshing sensation on the skin, similar to the feeling in your throat after eating a peppermint candy! (Not an alcohol-like sensation) After working out, applying it two or three times with your hands post-shower quickly reduces facial heat! That's why I use it after exercising.

  ✓ Dryness - Might be good for oily skin types. But as I have combination skin prone to dryness, when I switched to this, areas around my eyes, mouth, and cheeks felt a bit dry. ✓ Itchiness - For about 3 days after starting use, I experienced some itching, but it was fine from the 4th day onward. Seems it was an adjustment period. ✓ Soothing - It doesn't seem to have any effect on soothing blemishes! While this product appears to be designed for improving skin barrier and calming, it didn't have any particular soothing effect.

  Tip

  If too much foam comes out, you end up over-rubbing your face when spreading it, it gets in your hair, and runs down your wrists, so pumping about half the amount was just right!

  I have combination dehydrated skin with occasional blemishes and sometimes even pustular acne. Here's my review after using this product consistently for a week: The bubbles are incredibly rich and dense! Having used other bubble toners before, I can easily compare. The Dot Solution Hyaluronic Cica Soothing Bubble Toner has much finer bubbles, giving a soft, meringue-like texture that stays on longer when applied as a bubble toner pack. It's fantastic! I always do a bubble toner pack in the evening. I apply two pumps to my face, wait until it's fully absorbed, then add another pump, gently pressing it into my skin. On particularly dry days, I'll even do a third layer. You can actually feel your skin temperature cool down! It's amazing how refreshing it feels after the bubble toner pack, as you can sense your skin temperature dropping. It deeply hydrates and combats deep dryness! As someone with combination dehydrated skin, if I don't moisturize well from within, I tend to produce excess oil. Since using this, my skin feels more balanced from the inside out. There's less oiliness (though the cooler weather might be a factor too), and my complexion has a nice glow. Before using this toner, I was doing daily mask routines without giving my skin a break. This actually made my skin more sensitive, causing blemishes and irritation. I stopped all other masks and focused solely on this bubble toner pack, applying up to three layers during my skincare routine.
