My hair definitely seems to have improved. Regular shampoos can make my hair a bit stiff, but this one doesn't do that. At first, I lightly work up a bit of lather and rinse, and the second time I lather up, it lathers really well! Having to shampoo twice is a bit of a hassle, but it seems to result in better cleansing!
ConsIt does have a somewhat oily feeling, but it's not too serious. However, the completely oily scalp might be a bit challenging.
TipThis shampoo seems good if you want to protect your hair while providing strong cleansing power!

Cons- While it is also written in the reviews, the cleansing power is a bit weak, so you may not feel as refreshed after washing your hair! - The price feels a bit on the expensive side. - The hair seems to be calmed and moisturized, but the resilience is significantly lacking.

The Aromacar shampoo I used before had a fluffy and crisp texture after cleansing, but the Chungmijung Seaweed Shampoo had a much softer and smoother texture after cleansing. At first, I was worried that the cleansing was not complete, but the cleansing was actually well done, and it made my scalp more moisturized, so it was less irritating to my hair and scalp. It was a whole new experience to have a soft finish without my hair feeling weighed down. I really like how moisturizing it is. In the winter, I had a lot of static electricity, but after using this product, there is less of that. The amount used in the 10 days can be seen in the photo.
ConsDue to the thin consistency, it seems that more pumping is required to get satisfactory lather compared to using other shampoos. While this is a bit disappointing, the formula leaves my hair feeling moisturized and with a nice finish... This time I was able to use it through the Hwahae Trial Reviewers program, but I think I would purchase it with my own money going forward.

The shampoo has a relatively thin consistency, similar to a moisture ampoule. 🫧 Usage Experience Despite the name 'seaweed shampoo', it felt moisturizing and smooth. ✨ It has a soft, moisturizing feel. That's exactly the sensation. The lather is gentle, and there is no sticky feeling when rinsing, so I felt my hair fell out less. 🫧 Fragrance To me, it has a citrusy apple scent! However, since it is not a perfume shampoo, the fragrance is not overpowering and does not linger in the hair, so even someone sensitive to scents like me was not significantly bothered by it. 🫧 Irritation and Troubles I had a scalp pimple once after using it. As I occasionally get scalp pimples, I cannot attribute this to the Chungmijung Seaweed Shampoo alone. As mentioned earlier, the shampoo feels incredibly gentle, so there was no irritation at all. No scalp irritation either. 🫧 Design The design is intuitive, and the contents are clearly visible, making it look neat.
ConsSoft and moisturized, the opposite of which would not mean a dry, rough feeling! That's why, as a person with a combination scalp, I felt a lack of refreshment if I didn't do a pre-shampoo. Especially since I have a permed hairstyle, I use curl cream and polish oil daily. The curl cream cleansing seems to work well, but for the polish oil, I absolutely have to do a pre-shampoo... When there's a lot of oil in my hair, the lather really doesn't come out well. 🥲 It feels a bit pricey...😣
Tip* Hwahae shampoo is highly recommended! * Based on combination skin, it's fine to use even in the evening, and it lasts until the next evening! * Not recommended for extremely oily skin ㅠ

First of all, my scalp is sensitive and using the wrong shampoo can cause pimples and itchiness, but fortunately that was not the case with this product. ㅎㅎ Since it's a seaweed shampoo, it feels smooth and soft while using, and after washing my hair, it feels really soft and nice 😚 I thought it would have a strong seaweed scent, but the fragrance is just right, not overpowering, and I really like it!!! My hair tends to be oily, but the cleansing power is good, so I'm satisfied~
ConsWhile it does not produce a lot of lather, and even when there is some lather, it disappears after a few scalp massages, which is a bit disappointing 😢 But I've heard that mild shampoos don't usually create a lot of foam, so overall I'm satisfied.

I was selected as a member of the Hwahae Trial Reviewers and got to use the shampoo. When using the shampoo, I thought it might not rinse off well as it felt slippery, but it lathers well and does not have any irritating artificial fragrances. After rinsing and drying my hair, even the permed parts felt softer. My scalp did not itch, and the ingredients seem good. It's also good that pregnant women can use it.
ConsWhen washing my hair, the sensation feels a bit rough, not as smooth as seaweed. It's not a water-based formula, but it's not a tightly woven (?) texture either. Since it's made with natural ingredients, I'm inclined to try it, especially when my hair is in poor condition. However, the price is quite high, so I would likely hesitate to actually purchase it.
TipConsistently using it is recommended for fatigue recovery.

Trial Reviewers' reviews undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.ProsFirst of all, even though it is a shampoo, the ingredients are very clean. Except for citric acid (acidic ingredient), there are no bad ingredients for different skin types, and the ingredients are very good according to the EWG standard. It seems to be especially good for pregnant women to use. Since it contains seaweed, the texture was slippery and moisturizing, and the foam was just right, not too inconvenient. The cleansing power is also satisfactory. It also feels gentler on the scalp than other shampoos. Especially for me, my hair is extremely thick, firm, and very long like a wig, so regular shampoos make my hair extremely dry in the winter, and in the case of moisturizing or protein shampoos, the weight of the shampoo particles makes my hair heavy after use or even removes the volume, making it clump together (a shampoo brand that has been around for a long time at department stores). Most of the time, the scalp becomes itchy and even more clumped over time, but with the Chungmijung seaweed shampoo, I didn't feel any of these issues at all. It was refreshing, and the balance between moisturizing and not drying was just perfect, which I think is the best among all the shampoos I've used so far in terms of balancing the scalp and moisture. It's not overly moisturizing, but just the right amount to not feel dry from the shampoo. At the same time, it doesn't kill the root volume at all, and it gives moisture and a bit of nourishment to the hair that is losing its curl, making the curl feel more alive. So far, I haven't had any dandruff or itchy scalp while using it. The shampoos I used to use all made my scalp itchy when I washed my hair, but this one has no itchiness at all.🥰 I've tried a wide range of shampoos, from high-end pharmaceutical anti-hair loss shampoos, non-fiction shampoos, brands created by Kim Kardashian's hair stylist, shampoos with good ingredients, all Hairplus products, and several other brands including drugstore shampoos, but in terms of the overall usage experience and hair styling after use, this is the one I like the most.
ConsThe downside is that since it is a brand that tries to exclude artificial fragrances or artificial ingredients as much as possible, the shampoo scent is hardly noticeable right after washing, and a few hours later, the scalp odor seems to come out. I originally don't have much of a crown smell, so it doesn't bother me much, but for those who are sensitive to scalp odor or have a tendency to have odor come up, it might be a concern. Even though time passes, the scalp does not become dry, itchy, or sticky, so there is almost no discomfort. However, the hair ends become dry and tend to stick together in several strands. For those like me with thick and dry hair, if the hair starts to stick together after a day or two, it would be good to apply a body oil or natural oil once more, or spray an oil mist or scalp mist on the hair ends and apply oil.
TipThis product can be used in the summer regardless of the season, as long as the smell is not an issue. For those of you like me who have dry hair and don't have issues with dandruff or scalp problems, if the scent of this shampoo is a concern, you can use the Hwahae Scalp Essence to provide moisture or apply a few drops of a 100% natural fragrance oil by gently patting it onto your scalp, which can help cover up the scalp odor. You don't necessarily need an expensive brand, as there are now inner perfumes available as well. I'm also using the Hwahae Scalp Essence, but I don't use it often as it seems to make my scalp itchy, even though it provides good moisture and has a nice fragrance.
