I've always been a fan of this brand, so I was really excited about this chance. From their gummy sheet masks to their resurrection plant cream, Abib's products have consistently worked well for me, so my expectations were high for this one. True to Abib's style, the packaging is matte and minimalist. When I pumped out a bit onto my hand, I noticed it had a white base with tiny brown specks - a visual that might be a bit unsettling for those with trypophobia. However, once you blend it in, it transforms into a natural beige color. The application was smooth and hydrating, and even with my sensitive, dry skin, it didn't cause any irritation or feel heavy. The best part is that it evens out my complexion so well that for quick errands, I can just apply this and some lip color and be good to go. It also plays well with other base products, with no pilling or cracking, which is a huge plus.
ConsWhile I found it satisfying for my dry skin, those with oily skin might find it a bit too rich.

Not recommended for long outings! Skin type recommendation: Those with smooth, hydrated skin free of dead skin cells might find this satisfying.
ConsI haven't used it long-term, so I'll need to observe more, but one thing's certain - it's not suitable for combination dehydrated skin, textured or sensitive blemish-prone skin. (I fluctuate between dry and combination, but I'm mostly combination.) I wore this for about 7-8 hours, and from the 2-hour mark, my skin became excessively oily. It was quite troublesome! My face was literally gleaming. Thankfully, I had oil blotting sheets to manage, but using them disrupted the makeup, leaving it looking messy. While I don't have acne-prone skin, I am prone to blemishes, and this felt like it was clogging my pores. It felt suffocating, like I wanted to peel it off immediately. So... yeah, I think it's better if I don't use this. Applying powder over it would make my skin feel too suffocated, so I'd rather just use foundation alone.
TipThis might work well for those with poreless, healthy skin. But your skin needs to be well-hydrated, and free of dead skin cells, texture issues, or small bumps. That's necessary for smooth application - you want it to glide on without any pilling, right? For those with dry (not combination dehydrated) skin, minimal pores, and few blemishes, I think it might work well if you build a solid skincare routine focused on hydration before applying this. That's just my thought!

I was thrilled to be selected as one of The Hwahae Testers! Personally, I love pump bottles, so I was pleased this product comes in one. At first, I squeezed out too much like regular sunscreen, and my face looked a bit ghostly... haha! When you blend it in, the capsules in the cream seem to burst, changing to a peachy color, so it's best to apply a little at a time. I was skeptical about the color, wondering if it would really brighten my skin, but it provided light coverage and evened out my complexion beautifully. I absolutely love it! It's perfect for a foundation-free look! There's a slight glow after application, so I found it even more comfortable to use with some powder on top. If you have oily skin, powder is a must!! Since it's tinted, if you apply it without proper skincare, any patchiness is quite noticeable. So I make sure to pay attention to my skincare routine before applying. These days, I just use this with some powder on top when I go out! Even after wearing it for a long time, it doesn't break down too badly.
ConsMy skin is on the sensitive side, and when I pumped the product directly onto my cheeks, there seemed to be some unfinished edges that felt a bit rough. I've accidentally slept with the sunscreen on a few times, but fortunately, my skin didn't have a major allergic reaction. Applying with hands alone can lead to some pilling, and you need to wash your hands after, so using a puff might be better. Since it's a sunscreen, there is some richness that builds up, which was a bit disappointing!
TipIf you pat it evenly with a puff and set it with powder, it really looks like you've applied cushion foundation!

(Even better with powder!) - There was no noticeable scent. - I loved the pretty packaging design!
Cons- It offers very little coverage. - If you don't control the amount well, it doesn't apply nicely. Using a coin-sized amount like regular sunscreen can lead to clumping or a whitish cast, and its rich texture can cause pilling if not applied carefully. - Even though I have dry skin, the rich texture feels a bit heavy. There's enough of an oily sheen that you definitely need to set it with powder.
TipInstead of applying it all at once, it works better to squeeze out tiny amounts, spread them evenly, and then repeat on areas that need more coverage.

There's a bit of deep dryness after cleansing, and by afternoon, only my T-zone gets slightly oily when wearing makeup. When my skin's not in good condition, I get textured skin, blemishes, and redness. I prefer a light base and usually go foundation-free, so I loved how this CC sunscreen naturally evened my skin tone. I typically use shades 17 to 19 as I have fair skin, so this was a bit dark for me. If you use shade 21, it should work well for you. My skin is thin and prone to redness from irritation, but this sunscreen was gentle and didn't feel suffocating, which I really liked. Eye irritation is a crucial factor for me when choosing sunscreens, and I'm happy to report that this product didn't bother my eyes even after wearing it all day outdoors!
ConsWith other bases, only my nose area breaks down by afternoon. But with this, it felt slippery from the start. Even with my usual powder application, it broke down quite a bit overall and wore off. There was also some darkening. Despite having dry skin, it felt very oily and shiny. It's too much to use alone, and powder is definitely necessary! If you have oily skin, I recommend thinking twice before purchasing.
TipFor my skincare routine, I layered on hydrating toner, serum, and emulsion, then used a primer stick before applying the sunscreen. This combination worked even better! Using powder seems almost essential with this product. I applied powder foundation with a brush on my forehead, nose, and chin areas. This definitely improved the longevity and made my skin look prettier than before.

That's why I frequently use brightening moisturizers, tone-up sunscreens, and CC creams. What I've found great about this product is, firstly, its natural finish. Despite being a white cream with tiny dark specks, it somehow adjusts to my skin tone when applied - whether it's the specks bursting or the product adapting to my skin temperature, I'm not sure. But the result is incredibly natural-looking, which I'm very pleased with. Secondly, I appreciate its seemingly unscented formula. While I do enjoy fragranced products, there are times when I'm sensitive to smells, like after drinking or when I'm not feeling well. With this, I don't detect any scent, which is perfect. Thirdly, it's so convenient. Being a foundation-free product, it's naturally easy to use. I've had to carry it with me to the hospital, and its lightweight tube packaging makes it very practical. Lastly, the texture is quite nice. It's not too thick, making it easy to apply and blend, even when I'm in a hurry. Overall, among the recent foundation-free products I've tried, this one stands out as particularly satisfying.
ConsHowever, don't expect miracles when it comes to longevity, an intense glow, or dealing with dead skin cells. While it feels moisturizing, it can sometimes emphasize flaky skin. The initial 'wow' factor fades as its staying power isn't great, and after a while, you might notice some excess oil coming through, which is a bit disappointing.
TipIf you manage your dead skin cells well before application, this product can create a beautiful, natural base even under a long-lasting foundation.

Smooth application - Applies softly like a cream and adheres naturally to the skin Natural brightening - Evens out skin tone without white cast, giving a lively appearance Suitable for sensitive skin - Maintains comfort all day without redness or blemishes Sunscreen + base function - Allows for skin perfection without additional foundation
ConsSlight richness - As others have mentioned, it may cause a bit of shine in the T-zone for oily skin types. Touch up with a puff if needed!
TipLayer small amounts multiple times - Rather than applying a lot at once, layering thinly 2-3 times improves adherence and longevity Use as a base substitute - In a rush, you can complete your makeup by applying just this sunscreen and adding color cosmetics

It really elevates my complexion as if I'm wearing makeup, creating a beautiful skin appearance that's perfect for daily use without feeling heavy.
ConsAs someone with naturally oily skin, I'm a bit disappointed that some shine starts to come through in the afternoon.
TipBefore applying this sunscreen, make sure to thoroughly absorb your toner and other skincare products into your skin. This way, it won't float on top, pill, or slide around - it works great!

My skin type is combination dehydrated with an oily T-zone, and I have a neutral undertone in shade 21! Color: The color adapts to your complexion! I think it would work well for those with shades 20-23. It's perfect for my neutral 21 tone. Richness: It's slightly rich, so those with oily skin might find it a bit heavy. Longevity: With my oily T-zone, it tends to wear off without powder. Oily skin types might find the staying power a bit lacking, but it should be great for dry to dry-combination skin types, keeping them hydrated! Coverage: It covered my minor pigmentation and sun spots, but larger marks or discoloration might need concealer. I'd say it has medium coverage. Oxidation: I noticed slight oxidation depending on my skin condition, generally about half a shade darker. Skin Irritation: I have sensitive skin and usually avoid chemical sunscreens, so I was worried. There was very slight irritation, but unless you're extremely sensitive, it should be fine! Blemish Improvement: It claims to improve blemishes, but I didn't notice much effect. Sun Protection: The sun protection worked really well! Recommended Skin Types: Oily or combination dehydrated skin might find it a bit greasy with less staying power. It should be great for dry to combination skin types, keeping them moisturized! Foundation-Free Look: It doesn't cover pores very well, but it's good for a foundation-free look if you have dry to combination skin without prominent blemishes. Repurchase: As I have combination dehydrated skin, I found it a bit too rich, so I probably won't repurchase. However, I think it would be fantastic for those with dry skin!
ConsIt doesn't cover pores well and has high oil content, so those with oily to combination dehydrated skin might find it greasy with poor staying power.
TipHighly recommended for those with dry skin!

Cons- For yellow-toned 21 shade skin, one pump all over the face made it look too pale, so I wiped it off. Might be okay with less product. - It feels rich but somehow looks heavy, and while it's not drying, it seems to sit on the skin - Lacks coverage, so it's best for those who just want to even out their skin tone
