When first applying, I was surprised to find capsules in a sunscreen, but they weren't noticeable as particles. As the capsules burst, they naturally brightened my complexion. Using it on my light skin (shade 21), it gave a natural brightening effect, about half a shade lighter than my skin tone. My younger brother tried it too, and while it appeared a bit brighter on his darker skin (especially when he used more), it wasn't excessive. I think it could be a great alternative to foundation or cushion for men as well. Unlike most sunscreens that come in tubes, this product has a pump dispenser, making it hygienic and convenient to use. It's definitely a product I find myself reaching for often.
ConsHowever, as this product is designed for a foundation-free look, it's best used on its own rather than as a base for makeup. When I applied makeup over it, I noticed some slight pilling of the base.

At first, I was surprised by the white formula, but when I applied it to my face, it blended naturally with my complexion!!! I really loved this aspect. I've tried other sunscreens that claim to adapt to your skin tone, but they always left a white cast. This one, however, is truly natural-looking. Plus, it has a semi-glow finish that feels like it's nourishing my skin perfectly!
ConsIf you apply too much slippery product during the toner step before the sunscreen, you might see some pilling. Compared to regular foundation, it's relatively more prone to pilling!
TipI think it's best to keep the toner step as light as possible! Since this is a type that changes color naturally as you rub it in, it's difficult to pat it on with a cushion from the start. If you finish with a sticky toner or one that hasn't absorbed properly, you might see some pilling. So, try to finish with a light layer, then spread the sunscreen thinly with your hands along your skin texture, and finally pat with a cushion. This definitely improves adherence and helps it absorb into the skin better!

(Even better with powder!) - There was no noticeable scent. - I loved the pretty packaging design!
Cons- It offers very little coverage. - If you don't control the amount well, it doesn't apply nicely. Using a coin-sized amount like regular sunscreen can lead to clumping or a whitish cast, and its rich texture can cause pilling if not applied carefully. - Even though I have dry skin, the rich texture feels a bit heavy. There's enough of an oily sheen that you definitely need to set it with powder.
TipInstead of applying it all at once, it works better to squeeze out tiny amounts, spread them evenly, and then repeat on areas that need more coverage.

Great for light makeup as it combines sunscreen + CC cream - good brightening effect too 2. Slightly matte finish, perfect for summer use! 3. Mixes well with other products (BB creams/brightening moisturizers/illuminating products) 4. Natural color for #21 skin tone (product claims to offer customized tone-up) 5. No irritation or blemishes even on sensitive skin 6. Pretty packaging :)
Cons<Drawbacks> 1. Matte finish may cause flaking on dry skin 2. Not ideal with air puffs - better to apply with sponge or fingers 3. High fixing power can cause pilling when reapplying
TipA satisfying product for those who prefer natural makeup! - Not a high-coverage product I'm happy with the light coverage as I prefer subtle makeup Dry skin types should mix with other moisturizing products! - I love glowy makeup, so mixing it with a hydrating brightening moisturizer creates a perfect, moderately dewy skin look for spring that I'm very pleased with!

It gives my skin a slight boost compared to going bare-faced, and it's easy to cleanse off. I was curious about this product, so I was thrilled to get a chance to try it out. First off, I love that it doesn't overdo the brightening effect. Some products can make you look like you're wearing kabuki makeup with just a small amount, but this one gives a nice, subtle glow when applied in the right quantity. Keep in mind that my skin is quite tan, and I applied it to a small area for the photo, so it might look a bit whiter than it would on your face. The texture is wonderfully creamy and easy to spread with your fingers. It goes on quite white at first, but then these tiny capsules burst and it transforms into a peachy tone. Over time, it seems to adjust to match your complexion. As I've gotten older, my skin has become more sensitive. Some sunscreens make the skin around my eyes feel dry and painful after a while, but I haven't experienced that with this product. It seems to work well for dry skin types. Another plus is how easy it is to wash off. I'm not sure how it holds up against sweat since it's not that season yet, but it comes off cleanly with just one cleanse. This product really caters to my lazy skincare needs!
ConsLike with foundations or cushions, this product does show some pilling and caking around the nose area after a while, though it's not too noticeable. Also, the coverage isn't particularly high, but that's to be expected from a sunscreen rather than a foundation.
TipYou can increase the staying power by lightly setting it with powder. For those with dry skin, try applying a hydrating sunscreen first, then layer this product on top for more robust UV protection. Using a bit of concealer can help boost the coverage as well.

Reviews by The Hwahae Testers undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.ProsThe Hwahae Testers Review Skin Type: Combination/Combination Dehydrated/Shade 22/No blemishes or acne Product Features: - Color: White with visible color-changing capsules, turns apricot when applied - Scent: Nearly fragrance-free - Texture: Maintains shape when squeezed, doesn't run Pros: - Sun protection SPF50+ PA++++ - Contains glutathione - Reef-safe sunscreen, free from harmful ingredients to coral reefs (though no specific mention of being waterproof) - Smooth application - Good to average staying power - Initially feels slightly oily, but doesn't get greasier over time, even without powder (oily skin types might find it rich) - Doesn't break up or settle into lines over time, but seems to fade naturally (personally prefer this to messy breakdown) - Excellent for a foundation-free look > Definitely different from white brightening moisturizers, more like an apricot-toned CC cream > Acts as both sunscreen and skin coverage product > Effectively brightens and covers dull, sallow skin > Perfect for daily wear or a natural look - skin looks brighter but not obviously made-up > Highly recommended as a no-makeup cream for those without blemishes or acne > Looks natural even with blush, light eyeshadow, and mascara
ConsCons: - Initial over-application led to pilling, pore-clogging, and patchy appearance (resolved by using less product) - Emphasizes dry patches - Feels moisturizing at first but doesn't maintain hydration - Likely insufficient coverage for those expecting to conceal blemishes - Flat container with side pump is inconvenient, takes some getting used to
TipAdditional Notes: - Cleansing: Removes well with cleansing milk followed by foam cleanser Overall Rating: 4/5 stars - Highly recommended for those seeking a no-foundation look - Apply thinly over well-moisturized skin for a naturally flawless appearance - Not recommended for very dry or oily skin types - Reasonably priced, would repurchase

The texture is similar to typical sunscreens.
ConsUnlike the advertisements, it doesn't leave a glow after use. There's pilling, and if used alone, it can make eyes feel irritated, dry, or tight.

That's all there is to it, really
ConsIt's way too oily for oily skin. Just 20 minutes after applying, my junior at work said I was too shiny... I usually use one oil blotting sheet a day, but today I used four - two in the morning and two in the afternoon... How is this even possible? I ordered from the official Abib store and tried the sample first, but I'm utterly disappointed and returning it. My shipping fee of 5000 won... what a waste! I think even dry skin types would find this too oily, and it pills if you apply two layers. I usually love Abib's sheet masks and consider them great for skincare, but their sunscreen doesn't seem to cut it... I bought it because of all the Instagram ads for their brightening sunscreen... what a mistake! Also, why is there darkening when it's supposed to be foundation-free? Anyway, don't buy it.
TipThe best answer is simply not to buy it
