When I first bought it, it was really nice. There was nothing strange about it, and it removed makeup well! I usually use any lip and eye makeup remover without issues, but with this one, I barely used a third of it when suddenly, while removing my eye makeup, I noticed little bumps appearing on the areas I wiped. At first, I didn't suspect it was this product, but the very next day after using it, the bumps started appearing and got worse over time. It continued like this for over a week! So disappointing. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 4, 2020
I apply the remover directly with my hands instead of using cotton pads. I love that it doesn't irritate my eyes. I think it was at LaLa Blah? When I told the staff I was looking for something gentle on the eyes, they recommended this, and I'm extremely satisfied. I've already used up one bottle and repurchased it. - Breakouts appear when applied all over the face instead of just eyes and lips. - The price is a bit high for a makeup remover. - It leaves an oily residue, requiring double cleansing. - It's a Japanese product. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinApr 24, 2020
I've used nearly 5 bottles of this product. From my experience, it's the only one that doesn't sting or hurt even when it gets close to my eyes. (I've tried Innisfree, Etude House, Pond's, Too Cool For School, Clinique, Aritaum, and others at least once each) ★ Advantages I've noticed ★ 1. Doesn't hurt my eyes 2. Removes makeup effectively 3. Less oily compared to other makeup removers The price... The fact that it's not a Korean product... sigh... It runs out quickly. I've read reviews saying some people get minor blemishes around the eyes or eyebrows, but I've seen similar comments for other makeup removers too. I guess it's unavoidable since removers contain oil. I never buy this at full price. You can get it for almost half off when it's on sale at drugstores like Olive Young. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinDec 28, 2018
Above all, it removes makeup incredibly well. It effectively takes off pencil eyeliner, liquid liner, and even mascara applied to the waterline. What's more, it doesn't cause any particular irritation even if it gets into your eyes. I'm on my third bottle, but since I started using this remover as my main product, I began getting styes. And they just wouldn't go away. I'd have them surgically removed at the hospital, but they'd keep coming back. This happened three times, and recently my eyelids became red and swollen. No matter what I applied, there was severe dead skin buildup. I generally have healthy skin and am not particularly sensitive to cosmetics, but it was strange that only my eye area kept having issues. When I stopped using this remover, things got better. I can't believe it took me so long to realize this. I must be really slow on the uptake. I got goosebumps seeing other people who experienced similar symptoms. I thought there was no irritation, but this was the conclusion I reached. If you have oily skin around your eyes or are sensitive, you might want to reconsider using this product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 19, 2018
I always experienced tingling in my eyes when using eye makeup removers from other brands, but this product doesn't cause any irritation at all. It removes makeup so effectively with just one swipe that I've already gone through more than ten bottles! I think even those with super sensitive skin can trust and use this product with confidence! Occasionally, I get small blemishes or tiny bumps around my eyes, which can be dealt with using a cotton swab, but it's a bit of a hassle. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinJun 10, 2018
Among all the eye makeup removers I've tried, this one removes makeup quite effectively! It wipes off mascara easily, and I love that I don't have to rub hard enough to cause wrinkles. Perhaps due to its effective removal ingredients, it seems many people find it doesn't suit their skin... If you're not careful when using it, you might end up with blemishes around your eyes. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinFeb 27, 2018
The biggest advantage is how incredibly well it removes makeup. I've used eye makeup removers from other brands before that left my vision blurry, but this product doesn't do that at all. There's also absolutely no stinging sensation in the eyes. I only use eye makeup remover when I wear heavy makeup, but I noticed small, millet-like blemishes appearing around my eyes. I thought it might be due to my color cosmetics, but just to be sure, I tried using this product on only one eye about two hours ago. My eye area became incredibly itchy, and when I rubbed it, small bumps appeared and the area became red and swollen. Out of curiosity, I searched Hwahae and found that other people have experienced similar symptoms. I can't believe I've been using this for over two months without realizing! I immediately tossed it in the trash. I've attached photos comparing the eye where I used the remover to the one where I didn't. It's quite shocking! Just use a different product in a similar price range. It's not worth the risk. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinDec 9, 2017
I use the Kissme mascara, but the Kissme remover is expensive, so I bought a cheaper remover that claims to remove the Kissme mascara. Just hold a cotton pad soaked with the remover on your eyes for 30 seconds and the mascara will wipe off easily! You can also dip a cotton swab in the remover and gently swipe it under your eyebrows - works great! It doesn't sting my eyes at all, and I'm really happy with it! Mineral oils can potentially cause acne breakouts! It's made in Japan...ㅠ - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAug 19, 2017
In my opinion, the cleansing power of this eye makeup remover is excellent. It removes even stubborn mascara cleanly when you apply it to a cotton pad and wipe it off. Unlike some eye makeup removers, this one doesn't sting when it gets in your eyes. After reading the reviews, I found that some people have experienced similar issues as me. I also developed small bumps like milia around my eyes. I've been using this product for over 6 months, and in the beginning, my eyes would turn red and feel slightly irritated the day after using it to remove my makeup. At the time, I thought it was due to the other cosmetics or the cotton pads, so I just kept using it. I took a break from using eye makeup for a while, but when I started using this again a few days ago, red, itchy bumps appeared around my eyes (on my eyelids, around the sides of my eyes, and under my eyes). It's quite visible in the mirror, though it doesn't show up well in photos. My skin is generally not very sensitive - I can usually use most cosmetics without any issues. But for some reason, this product just doesn't agree with me... If you have sensitive skin, please be cautious when using this. This could be a great product for those whose skin it agrees with. But for someone like me who can't tolerate it, it's the worst... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJul 9, 2017
Since everyone said it was good, I bought the 1+1 product, and the cleaning power was good~ After using this product, I developed something like milia around my eyes, and my skin became red and irritated like an allergic reaction. When I applied something, it would sting, and after a while, my skin would start peeling off. It was a total disaster... I thought it wasn't for me, so I changed my cushion, eyeshadow, and mascara, but the problem persisted. In the end, I had to go to an ophthalmologist, take medication, and apply it, and only then did it briefly improve. The medication I used was a steroid, which quickly calmed the irritation, but then the rash came back. When I switched back to the remover I used before, my eyes finally returned to normal!! I thought it was because of the yellow dust season, but after using up one bottle and about 2/3 of the second one, I threw it all away.... Even if others don't know, I had a terrible experience with this product, and I'll never use it again!!! I'm not usually sensitive to products, and I can use all kinds of things without any issues, but this time, I really went through the wringer..ㅠ
