It removes makeup cleanly without leaving any oily residue. As someone who dislikes greasy feelings on my skin, I found this product quite satisfactory. It's a Japanese product. It stings if it gets into your eyes. Some people might notice an alcohol scent, depending on their sensitivity. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJun 16, 2019
It didn't irritate my eyes and wasn't oily, which I really appreciated. Considering the price, I didn't find the cleansing effectiveness to be that great. While I liked that it wasn't oily, I was disappointed by the slight alcohol-like scent. Compared to oilier products, it didn't remove makeup as well, so I won't be repurchasing. To minimize irritation, you can soak a cotton pad generously with the product and hold it over your eyes for a while before wiping. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinMay 23, 2019
When I soaked a cotton pad with this and placed it on my eyes, it removed makeup effectively without even rubbing. The cleansing effectiveness is pretty good. If any friends are looking for a lip and eye makeup remover, I'd definitely recommend giving this a try. Due to the ingredients, it's not amazing, but it's still pretty good. To be honest, there's a lot of talk about mineral oil, and it contains quite a bit of PEG, so that's a concern! It also has a slight alcohol scent... It seems you need to use more of the remover than expected, so even though it comes in a large size, it doesn't feel particularly economical. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinApr 21, 2019
I always use a strong fixative when applying mascara, and I've been using Kiss Me mascara, which is notoriously difficult to remove. It used to take forever to take off, even with makeup remover. But this remover is incredibly effective! You don't need to rub hard or forcefully pull at your lashes. It gently removes the mascara, and even if you just soak a cotton pad and place it on your eyes for a moment, it comes off quickly! I highly recommend this to anyone who uses long-lasting mascaras like I do! I have a sensitive nose, but I noticed a slight alcohol scent, which might bother some people. Also, it can sting a bit if it gets into your eyes. If you have sensitive eyes, you'll need to be careful not to let it seep in while using it. For best results, saturate a cotton pad with the remover, place it on your closed eyes, and gently press for at least 10 seconds. Then, wipe softly - the makeup should come off smoothly! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinApr 5, 2019
I've lost count of how many bottles I've gone through. Once you start using this, it's a hassle to try other products. I'm so satisfied that I don't even want to use anything else. It's clean, removes makeup effectively, and even though I've had LASEK surgery, it doesn't irritate my eyes at all. I must have gone through at least 6 empty bottles by now! It's a product you need to shake before use, but towards the end of the bottle, I feel like there's a slight alcohol scent. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 19, 2018
Cleansing effectiveness ★★★★★ It removes even waterproof eyeliner completely. I started using Bifesta cleansing products after hearing about their reputation, and I'm now on my second bottle. While I'm not sure about mascara since I use Kiss Me mascara remover separately, it effectively removes eyeliner and brow mascara. Even with waterproof eyeliner, this product alone leaves your skin spotless. For tightlined eyeliner, gently wiping with a cotton swab soaked in the product removes it quickly, making it great for irritation-free use. No eye irritation ★★★★★ I have sensitive eyes, so I'm careful with sunscreen (using mineral-based ones) and when applying or removing makeup. However, I can use this product comfortably. As it's an eye makeup remover, it sometimes gets into my eyes while cleansing, but it doesn't cause any stinging. The only thing is that when it gets in your eyes, it can make your vision slightly blurry for a moment. If I had to pick something, it would be the scent It has a slight alcohol-like smell. I have sinusitis, so I'm not sensitive to scents and don't find it bothersome. However, those who are sensitive to fragrances might find it uncomfortable. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 27, 2018
It seems to cause no irritation to the eyes. After finishing this, I couldn't find any other benefits, so I went back to my usual product, but I was shocked at how much my eyes hurt. I'm not sure if it's because I got used to this one or for some other reason, but I bought it again because my eyes were hurting. My nickname is 'dog nose', and every time I use this, there's a strong alcohol-like smell that's a bit off-putting. Also, it doesn't seem to remove makeup as dramatically as it did when I first used it, and unless it's on a buy-one-get-one-free deal, the regular individual price is a bit steep. I'm sure there are cheaper and more effective products out there by now, so I'd recommend everyone to think carefully before purchasing this. As for me, I have to use up what I have left first, unfortunately. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinSep 5, 2017
It was great that it wiped everything off cleanly without much effort. Since it removes makeup well, I feel like it's less irritating to the eyes. I recently traveled to a hot country, and I'm not sure if it's because of the sunscreen or this product, but my eyes are really stinging. There was a slight alcohol scent that I was a bit disappointed with initially, and now I'm wondering if that's the reason my eyes are stinging, so I'm looking to try a different remover. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinSep 1, 2016
The cleansing itself is average. It's a bit better than your typical drugstore level It doesn't clean as well as Pond's, but it's similar in terms of being non-irritating. I don't have any plans to repurchase it...it's just okay. It doesn't clean that well (based on the Kiss Me Heroine Make standard) There's no scent, but there's a strong alcohol smell It's non-irritating, but there are some granule-like things that form around the eyes;; I'm not sure if this is the cause, but it stings a bit. It might be worth buying when it's on sale, so you don't waste your money.
