It seems to remove makeup effectively without any fuss. Other than that, I don't have much to say. I experienced eye itching immediately after using this. There was also some eye irritation... and my skin felt dry afterwards. Overall, the experience wasn't pleasant, so I stopped using it. It's also on the pricier side compared to other popular makeup removers. And I didn't realize before buying that it's a Japanese product. I developed a skin condition around my eyes after using this. Those with super sensitive skin, please be cautious... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 18, 2019
The cleansing effectiveness was great. It removed Peripera and Clio mascaras well, and there was no eye irritation, so I used it happily. I bought it as a 1+1 deal, and while using the first bottle, everything was fine. However, when I started using the second one, the area around my eyes became bumpy and incredibly itchy. Since I had been using it continuously, I didn't think it was because of this product. I ended up using it all, but when I looked it up later, I found other people experiencing similar symptoms. So, I don't think I'll repurchase it. - Hwahae UserDry SkinMay 24, 2018
It's great for removing even the notoriously stubborn Heroine Make mascara. Just place a cotton pad soaked in this remover over your eyes for a moment, and it wipes off in one go without any rubbing needed. It's so convenient and doesn't cause any tingling sensation on the skin, which I really appreciate. While it's expected for a remover to be oily, this one feels particularly slippery, which can be a bit bothersome... (It might vary from person to person though!) Also, I noticed it might cause a slight stinging sensation in the eyes. This isn't my unique method, but to avoid the hassle of shaking the bottle every time (since the remover separates into oil and water layers), I soak multiple cotton pads at once for future use. It works like a charm! - Hwahae UserDry SkinMay 23, 2018
I really like that it has good cleansing effectiveness and doesn't cause any eye irritation. For a while now, my eyelids have been swollen and itchy. I thought I was getting a stye, but it wasn't that either. The only new product I've been using is this eye makeup remover. I bought it because it was supposed to be gentle, but both my eyelids are red, swollen, and itchy... I guess it just doesn't agree with my super sensitive skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinFeb 27, 2018
The biggest advantage is how incredibly well it removes makeup. I've used eye makeup removers from other brands before that left my vision blurry, but this product doesn't do that at all. There's also absolutely no stinging sensation in the eyes. I only use eye makeup remover when I wear heavy makeup, but I noticed small, millet-like blemishes appearing around my eyes. I thought it might be due to my color cosmetics, but just to be sure, I tried using this product on only one eye about two hours ago. My eye area became incredibly itchy, and when I rubbed it, small bumps appeared and the area became red and swollen. Out of curiosity, I searched Hwahae and found that other people have experienced similar symptoms. I can't believe I've been using this for over two months without realizing! I immediately tossed it in the trash. I've attached photos comparing the eye where I used the remover to the one where I didn't. It's quite shocking! Just use a different product in a similar price range. It's not worth the risk. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 28, 2017
Kissme.. Well, the mascara product I use, Majorica, is all easily removable. I've tried countless cosmetics and had an allergic reaction, going to a dermatologist for the first time. ㅋㅋㅋㅋ Both my eyes are itchy, irritated, and red, it's a disaster. My sister also said her eyes were really irritated, and we were 90% sure it was because of this product. After checking the ingredients and reviews, we confirmed 100% that it was because of this product. Absolutely do not buy it, it's really bad. Why does it have such a high rating?! Not buying it is the best tip. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinNov 12, 2017
Oh no!! My eyes!! I wanted to switch from the expensive mac eye makeup remover that I used before, so I looked for a YouTuber's recommendation and even searched for the Hwahae app, and bought it in good faith. I just used it for the first time today. I've been using the Bifesta cleansing water without any issues..but what's this?! I just used it for the first time. Even though it didn't sting, I used it without any hesitation, full of expectations. But wow, this is the first time I've experienced this. The double eyelid line and the lower eye area are all red and slightly swollen, showing allergic symptoms. I've applied aloe vera gel and allergy ointment, which are not supposed to be used around the eyes. It's itchy and won't calm down. I've already applied my basic skincare, but the same symptoms persist, so in the end, I had to wash the eye area one more time, apply medication, and use aloe vera gel... My eyes are so itchy. I absolutely can't use it right now. Wow, for an hour now. I've washed my eyes again, for the third time. It's not calming down, and it feels like I have a patch on my eyes for an hour... I'm so angry. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinOct 10, 2017
I'm not sure if it removes better than other products, but it seems to remove well. Many beauty YouTubers use it, so I trusted it and tried it, and it's just a remover. I'm not sure if it's my skin, but after reading the reviews, my eye area also became itchy. It turned red and became itchy like hives, both under and above my eyes... I don't have any sensitivity or anything, so it's strange. You'll likely need to scrub thoroughly to remove all the residue. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 5, 2017
The fragrance is not too strong, and the eye makeup washes off well. After removing it, my eyes don't feel dry. After removing my makeup and washing my face, the area around my eyes felt itchy and irritated. ㅜㅜ It washed off well, so I kept using it, but looking at the ingredients, I think I need to switch products. I used a body oil with mineral oil before, and my skin got really messed up, so I had to go to a dermatologist. For those with sensitive skin, try using something else~ - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinOct 3, 2016
It seems to have been wiped off quite well.. There are also frequent discounts The makeup also doesn't seem to come off very well, and while using this, my eyelids kept itching and got slightly reddish and swollen ㅠㅠ I do have sensitive skin, so maybe it's just me, but my sister seems to be fine with it
