When I first bought it, it was really nice. There was nothing strange about it, and it removed makeup well! I usually use any lip and eye makeup remover without issues, but with this one, I barely used a third of it when suddenly, while removing my eye makeup, I noticed little bumps appearing on the areas I wiped. At first, I didn't suspect it was this product, but the very next day after using it, the bumps started appearing and got worse over time. It continued like this for over a week! So disappointing. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAug 1, 2020
It seems to remove makeup effectively without any fuss. Other than that, I don't have much to say. I experienced eye itching immediately after using this. There was also some eye irritation... and my skin felt dry afterwards. Overall, the experience wasn't pleasant, so I stopped using it. It's also on the pricier side compared to other popular makeup removers. And I didn't realize before buying that it's a Japanese product. I developed a skin condition around my eyes after using this. Those with super sensitive skin, please be cautious... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 11, 2020
It removes makeup effectively... While it does remove makeup well, I have sensitive skin, and every time I use it, red spots appear around my eyes and my skin turns red. It stings, and personally, I really don't like it at all. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJan 18, 2020
The cleansing effectiveness is great. It removes makeup well without causing any eye irritation or stinging sensation. It removes makeup well, but I think it doesn't suit my skin. I have very dry skin, and when I use this, it seems to make my dead skin cells more noticeable. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinJul 30, 2019
It removes makeup so effectively, you can really tell the difference from other removers! Like any remover, this one stings quite a bit if it gets in your eyes. You need to be extra gentle when using it around the eye area. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 18, 2019
The cleansing effectiveness was great. It removed Peripera and Clio mascaras well, and there was no eye irritation, so I used it happily. I bought it as a 1+1 deal, and while using the first bottle, everything was fine. However, when I started using the second one, the area around my eyes became bumpy and incredibly itchy. Since I had been using it continuously, I didn't think it was because of this product. I ended up using it all, but when I looked it up later, I found other people experiencing similar symptoms. So, I don't think I'll repurchase it. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinMar 18, 2019
The watery texture leaves a clean finish... I bought this because it was advertised as gentle on the eyes, but it stung so badly I thought I was going to die! The cleansing effectiveness isn't bad, but it's drying. It doesn't remove all the glitter in one go. Anyway, I bought it because it was supposed to be gentle, but my skin just feels prickly... For reference, I don't have super sensitive skin and I've used other cleansing products just fine, but this one is uniquely irritating... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinDec 30, 2018
It removes makeup incredibly well! Just place a soaked cotton pad on your eyes, and it's all clear in one go! So effective! I'm not sure if it's just me, but after using it, the area around my eyes would often turn red. It's quite frustrating. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinDec 28, 2018
Above all, it removes makeup incredibly well. It effectively takes off pencil eyeliner, liquid liner, and even mascara applied to the waterline. What's more, it doesn't cause any particular irritation even if it gets into your eyes. I'm on my third bottle, but since I started using this remover as my main product, I began getting styes. And they just wouldn't go away. I'd have them surgically removed at the hospital, but they'd keep coming back. This happened three times, and recently my eyelids became red and swollen. No matter what I applied, there was severe dead skin buildup. I generally have healthy skin and am not particularly sensitive to cosmetics, but it was strange that only my eye area kept having issues. When I stopped using this remover, things got better. I can't believe it took me so long to realize this. I must be really slow on the uptake. I got goosebumps seeing other people who experienced similar symptoms. I thought there was no irritation, but this was the conclusion I reached. If you have oily skin around your eyes or are sensitive, you might want to reconsider using this product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinNov 7, 2018
I bought this in a hurry before traveling abroad, not knowing much about it. Surprisingly, it's so gentle that it doesn't sting even if it gets in your eyes, and it removes makeup effectively! Since then, I've been exclusively using this product. The biggest advantage is that it doesn't irritate your eyes at all! Before writing this review, I had already used two bottles and intended to only mention the positives. However, after reading other reviews, I realized I'm not the only one experiencing small, millet-like blisters around the eyes. While I can't definitively blame this remover (as I've had similar issues with other brands), these tiny bumps do appear. It might be due to my super sensitive skin! I should mention that it doesn't cause pain, though. With daily use, the bumps come and go. I use this with the thick cotton pads from Costco. Just soak the pad with an appropriate amount of remover, place it over your closed eyes for a moment, then gently wipe. It removes makeup effortlessly! For Kiss Me mascara, you might need to rub a bit more, but it still comes off relatively easily.
