Unbeatable value for money! I'm convinced you won't find this quality at this price point anywhere else. Excellent staying power! While pencils typically don't last as long due to their nature, this one rivals even brush pen eyeliners in longevity. It might just be the most long-lasting pencil eyeliner on the market! I'm over the moon with satisfaction. The texture is wonderfully smooth. Since it's applied near the eyes, a hard pencil can cause irritation, but this one glides on so smoothly. There's zero irritation, it applies effortlessly, and the smooth application means no skipping or patchiness. It's perfect for creating beautiful lines - highly recommended for beginners! Doesn't dry out easily. One reason people avoid pencils is that they dry out quickly, forcing you to sharpen them and waste product. They become hard and difficult to apply. But this one stays creamy even after extended use. It always applies smoothly without irritation, no matter when you use it. I'm absolutely thrilled with this product! There's nothing bad to say, really... If I had to nitpick, maybe they could make it in a rainbow of colors? Oh, and just a note - the Sienna Brown shade is a lighter brown. Recommended for warm skin tones. For cool tones, I'd suggest Chocolate Brown or Black! I usually just use this on its own, but for even more staying power, try layering it with eyeshadow. Or, use this product as a base and then trace over it with a brush pen eyeliner (I use Woodbury). It becomes absolutely smudge-proof - highly, highly recommended! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 22, 2022
It's waterproof, so there's hardly any smudging, and the strong staying power keeps it in place all day long. It glides on smoothly, and the size isn't too thin, making it easy to apply. On particularly hot days or when I'm out all day, it seems to smudge slightly in the inner corner area. To be on the safe side, it's probably best to set it with powder before applying. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinOct 7, 2021
The staying power is great and the color is beautiful. I got a great deal for the price. There's nothing particularly bad about it. However, when using a rich moisturizer underneath, it seems to affect the longevity of the product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 8, 2021
The staying power is great. The brown shade is darker than Clio's pencil. While Clio's brown is a classic brown, The SAEM's is more of a blackish-brown. It's quite hard when applying, which can irritate the skin. The fixing happens too quickly. You know how with pencils it's difficult to draw a sharp line, so you usually use your nail or a cotton swab to create a wing? Well, with this one, you can't make any corrections. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 4, 2021
[Ingredients] Clean and pure! [Application] Excellent (glides on smoothly) [Longevity] Impressive [Shimmer] Love that it's shimmer-free [Color] Wish the color was a deep brown like Pia Jazz (It's just a regular brown) - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 17, 2020
The color is exactly what I wanted - a vibrant brown that's neither too red nor too yellow. I'm absolutely in love with it! The value for money is incredible given the product's quality. Apply it once in the morning, and it absolutely won't budge. While I can't speak for those with extremely oily skin, if you don't have excessive oil around your eyes, the staying power will be fantastic! It even stays put when applied to the inner corners of the eyes. On a random note, I once asked at C*L*O if they could recommend an eyeliner for the inner corners of the eyes. The staff member rudely replied, 'Ma'am, there's no such thing as an eyeliner that doesn't smudge there.' Well, guess what? Here it is - the non-smudging eyeliner. Ha! The color payoff is a bit disappointing. Especially when applying to the inner corners of the eyes, it often doesn't draw well, so I always swatch it on my hand first before applying. Still, once it's on, the staying power is so good that I put up with it. Older individuals might find the texture a bit stiff. I bought one for my mom along with mine, but she doesn't use it because she says it's too dry to apply smoothly. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 16, 2020
The color payoff is a deep brown when applied heavily, and it glides on smoothly. The staying power is impressive too - it even withstood water activities! While the thin design of the eyeliner makes application easy, it's quite fragile and prone to breaking. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinNov 29, 2020
The color payoff is excellent, it applies smoothly, has great staying power, and doesn't smudge. I'm not one to touch up my makeup often or worry about it much after application, but this liner stayed neat for up to 8 hours without needing any fixes. Among the gel liners I've used, this one smudged the least. I also loved that it's thin enough without needing to sharpen it. Perhaps due to its thinness, it seems to wear down quickly. While it allows for thin and precise lines and glides on smoothly, it's prone to smudging or breaking easily, which is a bit disappointing. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinOct 27, 2020
When I first applied it, I was pleased that the formula wasn't stiff but spread smoothly! Some other slim eyeliners can be quite hard, probably to prevent breakage due to their thinness. This often leads to a sharp feeling and irritation at the corner of the eyes when first using them. However, this product glides on softly from the start, and I've never experienced it breaking while using it, which is great. As someone whose makeup doesn't usually stay put easily, I found the lasting power to be impressive. If I had to point out one drawback, it's that the tip becomes a bit blunt with use, making it challenging to draw sharp lines. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 27, 2020
Overall, I'd say this is a solid product! The application, staying power, and lack of irritation are all great. First off, it applies smoothly, making it easy to use. While it's a pencil liner, so achieving super sharp lines might be tricky, that's pretty standard for pencils. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of the perfect sharp look you get with brush liners, so I'm quite satisfied. The staying power is impressive - it held up well even when I was out all day. But what I loved most was how gentle it is. I have sensitive eyes, and some liners can really sting, but this one feels so light, it's like you're not wearing anything at all. Plus, the price is reasonable, making it a great everyday liner. Any downsides? Nothing major, but you might find the color a bit light. It wasn't the most flattering shade for my complexion, which is a shame. Here's a pro tip you might already know: when applying eyeliner, gently pull your eye outward. It makes the application so much easier! If you're not confident with eyeliner, give this technique a try. It's how I went from struggling to actually being decent at applying eyeliner!
