The price was affordable and the quality of the eyeliner seemed good It swatched well on the back of my hand, but when I tried to apply it to my eyes, it wouldn't draw properly and just hurt. To make matters worse, it kept breaking while I was trying to use it, so I had to throw it away without even getting a chance to use it properly - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinOct 27, 2020
I usually just draw the tail of my eyeliner. The main advantage is that it glides on smoothly, which I really liked. As for the ingredients, they seem to be fine since I didn't notice any changes despite having super sensitive skin! While the rest of my face is dry, my eyes tend to get oily and prone to smudging. Even though I only drew the tail, it smudged terribly underneath. I rarely touch up my makeup, but after about 4 hours, I noticed it had smudged a lot downwards, so I haven't reached for it since. I'm aware my eyes are oily, so I usually use powder and blend the edges with eyeshadow to improve staying power, but it still smudged. I'm afraid if I line my waterline, I'll end up looking like a complete panda, so I can't use it there. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 20, 2020
I'm afraid I can't mention any positive aspects as there were none. The product completely failed to perform its intended function and didn't apply at all. I decided to purchase this eyeliner online for around $3 after reading reviews on Hwahae praising its gentle application and good ingredients. However, I'm left wondering if the quality is random and I just got unlucky? The eyeliner doesn't apply at all. When I tried to use it on my eyes, it was so painful that I tested it on the back of my hand instead. It didn't show up at all, and when I pressed harder, it broke. Not only did it fail to apply on my hand, but it actually left my skin red and irritated. When I tried drawing on the receipt, it felt like using those hard colored pencils from childhood. In the end, all the product broke and I couldn't use it on my eyes at all. I'm absolutely baffled by this experience. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinApr 13, 2020
I've never actually applied it before going out, but the thin consistency seems to be a plus. Not sure if it's my skin type, but nothing comes out! Lol. If I squeeze it hard, some product does come out, but it's too much effort to use around the eyes. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 16, 2019
This was the first eyeliner I ever purchased and used. It was easy to apply, drew on smoothly, and had almost no smudging, which I really liked. While the smudging wasn't an issue, there might have been something problematic with the ingredients. After wearing it for a few minutes and then removing it, I would consistently develop a stye that lasted for days. This happened not just once, but about three times whenever I used this eyeliner. Each time I applied it, my eyes would swell and become itchy after a while. Because of these experiences, I have absolutely no intention of repurchasing. I really can't recommend this product if I can help it. - Hwahae UserOily SkinMar 23, 2019
I usually opt for pen liners since gel eyeliners are typically too thick, but I was pleasantly surprised by how thin this one is. The color is nice, and I think it's a great option for those who prefer pen liners. The slim body makes it comfortable and easy to use. This may vary from person to person, but those with oily eyelids might have a similar experience to mine. It smudges terribly. When I first applied it, I lined from the middle of my eye, filled in the waterline, and extended to the outer corner. However, after a few hours out, I noticed it had transferred below my eyes. Even after I started only lining the outer corners and using lots of powder, it didn't seem to make much difference. Carrying cotton swabs is a must! As for longevity, it's average. It doesn't stay perfectly intact, but it doesn't completely disappear either - it just fades slightly. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 5, 2018
The only positive thing I can say is that the color is pretty. There's not a single other good point worth mentioning. This product is an absolute disaster. It's the worst of the worst. First off, it breaks way too easily. About ten minutes after applying it, my eyes started itching and stinging. Now they're even swollen. It's just completely useless. You'd be better off buying Kiss Me eyeliner instead. I'm so frustrated that I wasted money on this eyeliner. It's a total failure. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinFeb 1, 2018
It really is as thin as they say! I had high hopes when I saw the Hwahae reward, and it didn't disappoint. After applying and removing it, I kept feeling a stinging sensation. When I checked, I noticed the areas where I had applied it had turned red and were irritated. Even after cleansing and applying toner and emulsion, the irritation persisted. I think I had a tough time because of that... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinDec 23, 2017
It really doesn't smear, it's so well-fixed that it's hard to wipe off, and it's thin. After using it, redness keeps occurring. I don't know why. The ingredients don't seem to have any harmful substances, but there are redness symptoms after use. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinDec 10, 2017
It was great that it was much thinner than other eyeliners and applied more smoothly than I expected. Starting from the 5th day of using this, the eyeliner became thin and started to easily break, and it didn't seem to fit my eye shape well as it kept smudging, so I ended up not using it and switched to a different one.
