It doesn't smudge and comes off easily in flakes when removed. The staying power is excellent. The color is a perfect deep brown, making it great for natural-looking eye makeup. Despite being a pencil type, it applies smoothly without irritating the delicate eye area. It's often on sale, making it a great value for money. When used alone, its longevity is slightly less impressive (compared to brush-tip liners). I found that applying this pencil as a base and then going over it with a brush-tip eyeliner keeps it smudge-free until evening. I highly recommend this method for those who struggle with smudging! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinMar 14, 2022
It's truly amazing as a daily item - it has never smudged even once, and the color looks so natural. I'm in love! Apart from setting a bit quickly, I couldn't find a single flaw with this product. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 6, 2020
I love how thin it is, making it easy to draw natural-looking brows. When I pat some oil-control powder over it, it doesn't smudge and lasts all day. I've been using this for several refills now! Because it's so thin, if you're not careful with adjusting the length, it breaks very easily. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinOct 28, 2020
I loved how thinly and smoothly it applied. There's a slight smudging, but that actually works in its favor. Using an eyeliner brush, you can apply it like eyeshadow for an even more natural look. I'm not a fan of harsh eyeliner lines, so I really appreciated this aspect. It does smudge a bit, so you might need to blend it with eyeshadow after application. If you don't have oily eyelids, you'll probably find it easy to use. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinOct 27, 2020
First off, the application is absolutely top-notch. Among drugstore eyeliners, you'd be hard-pressed to find one that glides on as smoothly as this. It's so effortless that you can just swipe it on, and it creates a seamless, natural line without any breaks. The pigmentation is vibrant and pops beautifully. It's truly the bang for your buck in the eyeliner world. The brown shade has a surprisingly warm undertone, which didn't quite suit my cool complexion, but I bet it would be a perfect match for those with warm skin tones! Unlike pen-type liners that often require multiple layers and can get messy, this one creates a clean, natural line in just one stroke. I'm so impressed that I'm tempted to try out the other colors too! Well... as smoothly as it applies, it does tend to smudge a bit. I wouldn't recommend it for those who struggle with eye makeup smudging. Also, unlike most stick-type gel liners that have a sharpener at the end, this one doesn't, so it takes a bit of time to get the right shape. It's definitely not convenient for filling in the waterline. I don't typically do that, so it wasn't an issue for me... But that's about all the negatives I can think of. This shade definitely suits warm-toned skin better than cool! The color payoff is just as impressive as its application, so if you're layering, build it up gradually. For filling in gaps in the waterline, I found using a pen-type liner alongside this works best! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 26, 2020
The color isn't an intensely dark brown like some brush pen eyeliners, but rather a natural brown shade. This makes it perfect for subtle makeup looks - I could easily just draw the tail of the line for a more effortless style! A feature that could be seen as both a pro and a con is that, as someone with oily skin, most pencil liners tend to smudge on me. However, because the color is so natural, even when it smudges, it creates a shadow-like effect in the outer corner that actually looks intentional and doesn't bother me! As mentioned in the positives, the smudging was the main drawback. It's a feature that can be both a pro and a con, so it really comes down to personal preference. Also, because the color is so natural, it might be a disadvantage for those looking for a more defined, bold line! If you're someone whose pencil liner tends to smudge, you probably know that sometimes blending it out with eyeshadow can actually make it worse! Unfortunately, in those cases, the best solution is to touch up with a brush pen liner. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinOct 26, 2020
I usually prefer brush pen eyeliners in black, but surprisingly, this ultra-slim design made it easy to apply. The color is a beautiful brown that's perfect for fall. I was worried about how it would show up over my old eyeliner tattoo, but it actually applied quite nicely! I've been disappointed that I couldn't use brown eyeliners since getting my black eyeliner tattoo, but this one looks natural even over it. Plus, it doesn't smudge much, which is great! The downside is that even though it's ultra-slim, it's not as easy to create sharp wing tips as with a brush pen. But that might just be because I'm so used to brush pens. To reduce smudging and create a more matte finish, I found that lightly dusting some powder on before applying the eyeliner helps it stay in place better! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinOct 26, 2020
This is a review from The Hwahae Testers! Color: It's not black, but a brown shade, which allows for a natural, not-too-intense line. Application: Usually, pencil eyeliners can be stiff and hard, often irritating the eyes or clumping when applied. However, this product glides on smoothly! It's great for someone like me who struggles with eyeliner application. Longevity: If you set it with powder, it seems to last quite a while. It may smudge if you rub it immediately after application, but once it sets, it doesn't budge even when rubbed. Removal: It comes off easily with just a cleansing foam! However, for a thorough cleanse, using a makeup remover might be best. Despite being called 'Power Proof Ultra Slim' in the product name, it washes off with water and isn't particularly slim... I recommend this to those who prefer an easy-to-apply, natural-looking eyeliner! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 26, 2020
1) Application The application is incredibly smooth and pleasant! It's perfect for filling in the waterline. Even when applied to the palm, it glides on smoothly without emphasizing any wrinkles. 2) Precise Application Its thin tip allows for meticulous and detailed application, perfect for creating precise looks. 3) Natural Look Unlike brush pen liners, this one looks incredibly natural. Unless applied too heavily, it's subtle enough for everyday wear, even at school. 4) Portable Its slim and compact design makes it easy to carry around. Just be careful not to misplace it! 5) Universally Flattering Color While the photo might not capture it perfectly, it's a deep brown with a slight reddish tint. I was worried it wouldn't suit my black hair and eyes, but it blends in beautifully! I'm considering trying other shades next time. 6) Waterproof As the name suggests, its waterproof quality is impressive. I tested it on the back of my hand, and even after wetting and rubbing it, it barely budged. I was genuinely amazed! 7) Removal Surprisingly, it comes off quite easily with cleansing wipes. 8) Quantity The amount you get is decent for the price, though it might not seem like a lot at first glance. Warning: I accidentally fell asleep right after applying the eyeliner and woke up looking like a panda! Regardless of whether it's dry or not, absolutely avoid rubbing your eyes or sleeping with this on. You'll end up with raccoon eyes that look like dark circles... 1) Smudges if Rubbed Before Drying One time, I applied it to my waterline before going out and came home looking like a panda. I tend to rub my eyes a lot and yawn frequently, which keeps my eyes moist. So when I rubbed my eyes while they were still a bit damp, the liner smudged all under my eyes like dark circles. My friends even asked if I was feeling unwell! 2) Be Careful of Breakage Being ultra-slim, it can break if you extend it too far when using. However, this can be easily avoided by only extending it a little at a time. 3) Not Recommended for Frequent Eye-Rubbers or Yawners Yes, I'm talking about myself... On a day when I applied it and went out, I was particularly tired and yawned a lot, rubbing my eyes frequently. It smudged exactly in the dark circle area. Those who apply it to the waterline should be extra cautious. No matter what, make absolutely sure it's completely dry before going about your day. Avoid yawning... Don't rub your eyes... - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 26, 2020
1. Color payoff The deep mahogany shade blends naturally with the eyes, which I really liked. Those looking for a natural brown color will likely be satisfied. 2. Longevity It stays put all day without noticeable smudging. There was no smearing under the eyes, and being waterproof, I didn't feel like it was coming off due to sweat! 3. Price This was my first time trying it, and I'm satisfied with the decent ingredients and affordable price. The fact that it can break if you apply too much pressure is a downside. Since this is somewhat expected with pencils, it seems you'll need to extend it little by little to make it last longer.
