  Despite containing BHA, which I thought might be harsh, it didn't feel irritating at all, making it suitable for daily use. When my skin was particularly sensitive, I felt a slight tingling sensation, so those with super sensitive skin might want to use it less frequently. Among the low pH cleansing products I've tried, this cleansing gel left my skin feeling the least dry after washing. The scent is nearly fragrance-free.

  Cons

  This product produced the least amount of foam compared to other cleansing gels I've used, so I ended up using more than my usual amount.

  As someone with oily, acne-prone skin, I've found this cleanser really helpful for improving my blemishes. Its main feature is being a BHA-based, low pH cleanser. As we all know, BHA is one of the best ingredients for tackling acne. The BHA's exfoliating effect helps prevent clogged pores, while its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties aid in blemish control. Despite being low pH, it still has decent cleansing power for oily skin. True to its gentle nature, it's hydrating and less irritating. I've noticed it doesn't sting even when my skin is super sensitive. While Paula's Choice is probably best known for their Skin Balancing line, which seems to focus more on controlling excess oil, the Clear line appears to be more about deep pore cleansing. Choose based on your skin concerns! Personally, I find the Clear line more appealing than Skin Balancing for acne-prone skin.

  The only downside? The opaque packaging makes it hard to see how much product is left.

  I also use this occasionally for lip exfoliation! If I gently massage my lips with this product and immediately follow up with Vaseline for moisture, I wake up the next day with noticeably smoother lips, free of dead skin cells.
