I'm afraid this might not be suitable for those with oily skin... While individual experiences may vary, I found it to be quite sticky and rich for my skin. It left my face looking shiny... However, it could potentially work well for those with dry skin. If you have very dry skin, this product might actually be a good fit for you. As someone with oily skin, this was way too rich and made my face super shiny. After applying it once, my skin completely broke out... I was really surprised by how greasy it made my skin - I didn't expect that at all! Looking at the ingredients, there are some aspects that could be improved. While it might be okay for dry skin, I definitely wouldn't recommend this for people with oily skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinNov 15, 2020
There's absolutely nothing good to say about this. I strongly advise against it... For a cosmetic product, it smells oddly like acacia gum. It's excessively rich, leaving my face feeling like an oil slick on the surface while the skin underneath feels parched and cracked. The hydration is non-existent - it's even less moisturizing than gentle, fresh emulsions designed for sensitive skin. I had a sensation of it clogging my pores, and after using this, I experienced a significant outbreak of blemishes. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 7, 2020
This emulsion is perfect for dry skin types! The subtle fragrance really lifts my mood, though I imagine the unscented version would be just as lovely. The hydration is so impressive that I even use the excess on my hands after applying it to my face. I'm truly satisfied with how well it absorbs. The texture is just right - neither too thick nor too runny, with a pleasant consistency that doesn't feel heavy on the skin. I usually struggle with thick, high-viscosity products as they can feel suffocating, but this one leaves my skin feeling comfortable. It's so pleasant to use that I find myself reaching for it often. Be mindful of the ingredients as it contains fragrance. A friend with oily skin tried it for dryness, but it didn't seem to agree with their skin and caused some minor breakouts. Try using it with the honey ampoule from the same line. It helps create that coveted Inner Glow and doubles the hydration effect. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinNov 24, 2019
When applied together with toner, it gave a moisturizing and firm feeling to the skin. As someone with oily, acne-prone skin, I noticed my skin definitely broke out... I would recommend those with oily, blemish-prone skin to avoid using this product! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJul 27, 2019
The hydration is definitely noticeable. Even with just this one product, my skin didn't feel dry at all. After applying, my skin felt somewhat suffocated. My acne on my cheeks actually got worse after using this. It might be because I couldn't control the amount properly, but it seemed to clog my pores. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMay 14, 2019
For an emulsion, it has great hydration and long-lasting effects. The scent is also pleasantly mild. Something in the ingredients doesn't agree with my skin. Every time I applied it, I got tiny bumps. I tried it three times before getting scared and giving up. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinFeb 9, 2019
- Has a nice consistency that's perfect for winter application - After it's fully absorbed, it leaves a pleasant, balanced richness on the skin - It's neither hydrating nor moisturizing, and it's extremely sticky. You need to work it in thoroughly for absorption (poor spreadability) - The ingredients aren't great, and I developed blemishes after using it (not suitable for sensitive skin) - The strong fragrance is off-putting - Innisfree products are disappointingly less gentle than expected and quite underwhelming - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJan 9, 2019
This might be great for those with dry skin. As someone with combination skin, it felt a bit heavy for me, but the scent is pleasant and it creates a nice, moisturizing base that applies smoothly. For my combination skin, it's a bit too rich. After applying, I keep getting blemishes - my skin feels suffocated. I bought it because it's famous for hydration, but upon checking, the ingredients aren't that impressive either. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinDec 13, 2018
I used a sample and was really impressed with how well it moisturized! Usually, any kind of irritation causes severe redness on my super sensitive skin, but this didn't, so I decided to purchase it! After buying it, I used it for just two days and my face became incredibly itchy. I developed an allergic reaction, but I tried to keep using it. Eventually, the combination of redness and allergic response forced me to apply a steroid ointment... I contacted Innisfree about the issue, and they were great - they offered to exchange it for a more suitable product!
