Repurchase intention: Low My T-zone is oily, but my cheeks are dry, so when I only use toner and Innisfree Cherry Blossom Jelly Cream, it feels a bit dry. I bought this for winter use! It's definitely richer, so I liked that it wasn't drying anymore. It's great if you're looking for a moisturizing product. The scent is just like its name suggests - a hint of honey and ginger? It wasn't overwhelming at all. The texture is slightly stringy and has a hydrating formula. Since it contains honey, it was a bit disappointing that it left a slightly greasy finish. It's also quite sticky. I strongly discourage those with oily skin from using this! It seems like it would be suitable for those with extremely dry skin. Also, whenever I apply this emulsion, I sometimes get small blemishes or sebum bumps, probably due to its richness. So, I probably won't buy it again after I finish this one. This might be good for those with dry skin who lack oil in their skin! Note: The photo was taken with a lamp on to show the product more accurately! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinFeb 16, 2021
As someone with super sensitive skin prone to blemishes, I was pleasantly surprised that this product didn't cause any issues. My dry skin usually struggles with emulsions, leaving me with deep dryness and makeup that doesn't sit well. However, this one keeps my skin hydrated and elastic without any tightness. When I use it before bed, I wake up with honey-like skin, and my makeup applies beautifully without pilling. Since I started using this, people have been calling me 'Dewy Skin Girl' and complimenting my complexion. It's truly my holy grail product! Due to its intense hydration, those with oily skin might want to avoid this. The product has a somewhat heavy feel when applied, so if you prefer lightweight emulsions, you might find this a bit too rich. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinFeb 15, 2021
It's wonderfully hydrating! Even those with sensitive dry skin can use it without issues! If you're not a fan of ginger scent, you might find the fragrance a bit strong For an extra boost of hydration, try layering it - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinDec 2, 2020
I loved how hydrating it was, and when applied, it had this delightful, plumping sensation. I'm on my fourth bottle now, and I think it's really great. Even a small amount gives you that beautiful glow in summer! Those with oily skin might want to think twice before purchasing this. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 20, 2020
It locks in hydration incredibly well. Plus, the honey scent is delightful! It feels like it's really sealing in the moisture, giving your skin a super-hydrated sensation. If you enjoy products that leave a slight oily finish, you'll likely be satisfied with this. (Between us, I actually prefer the toner to the emulsion...) The texture is so thick that it feels a bit suffocating on the skin. While I absolutely loved how the Ginger Honey toner clung to my skin perfectly, the emulsion feels excessively sticky, so I can't recommend it. I typically prefer lighter, water-like formulas that leave a matte finish, so the heaviness is a major drawback for me. The finish is quite oily - you can even feel the residue on other objects you touch after application (it's almost as if you've applied pure oil rather than an emulsion!). I'd recommend the Ginger Honey toner instead. However, if you don't mind a heavier feel and need intense hydration, you might enjoy this. It has a pleasant scent and pretty good ingredients. Those who like products with an oily finish will probably appreciate this emulsion. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinMay 19, 2020
This emulsion has a perfect balance of oil and moisture! I personally didn't find the scent unpleasant at all. Since switching my skincare routine to this line, my skin feels much more hydrated! While both the toner and emulsion suited me well, for some reason I always end up with a couple of tiny bumps near my eyes. I've used two bottles of each, but I'm thinking of changing my skincare routine again. However, the last time I switched after using one bottle each, my skin reacted badly, so I came back to this. It seems even skincare can become tiresome! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMay 10, 2020
It's truly rich and deeply hydrating. When I apply it before bed, I wake up feeling like my skin is moisturized from within. It's wonderful! It's quite sticky, so be careful or your hair might get caught in it if you're not cautious. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinFeb 24, 2020
The hydration scent is amazing! It has a honey-like fragrance that's truly delightful. It gives you a feeling of being deeply moisturized. Really great product! It can make your skin a bit shiny. This is probably unavoidable given how intensely hydrating the product is. Still, it's quite usable. One thing though - the container opening is quite wide, so you need to give it a good shake before use. It's great to use before applying makeup and before going to bed. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinFeb 5, 2020
It's incredibly moisturizing and has such a lovely fragrance that I absolutely adore it! However, it doesn't seem to address deep dryness very well. Also, when I apply it, my face feels slightly warm. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJan 23, 2020
As someone with extremely dry skin, I'm amazed at how incredibly hydrating this is! It's so moisturizing, I was genuinely surprised. I've only used it once, so I can't say much, but as I have sensitive skin, I came to check the ingredients. I was shocked again when I saw some potentially harmful components.
