As someone with extremely dry skin that feels tight and flaky after cleansing, especially during seasonal changes or cold winters, I've found the Ginger Honey Essential Emulsion to be a game-changer. Since using it, my skin has become noticeably softer. The hydration it provides is so powerful that you could use this alone in your daily routine. I'm thoroughly satisfied with this product. Those with oily or super sensitive skin should approach this product with caution. Given its focus on hydration, it seems to have a high oil and moisture content, and possibly some potentially irritating ingredients. My daughter, who has sensitive skin, tried it once and her face had a severe reaction, causing her quite a bit of trouble. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinFeb 25, 2021
Repurchase intention: Low My T-zone is oily, but my cheeks are dry, so when I only use toner and Innisfree Cherry Blossom Jelly Cream, it feels a bit dry. I bought this for winter use! It's definitely richer, so I liked that it wasn't drying anymore. It's great if you're looking for a moisturizing product. The scent is just like its name suggests - a hint of honey and ginger? It wasn't overwhelming at all. The texture is slightly stringy and has a hydrating formula. Since it contains honey, it was a bit disappointing that it left a slightly greasy finish. It's also quite sticky. I strongly discourage those with oily skin from using this! It seems like it would be suitable for those with extremely dry skin. Also, whenever I apply this emulsion, I sometimes get small blemishes or sebum bumps, probably due to its richness. So, I probably won't buy it again after I finish this one. This might be good for those with dry skin who lack oil in their skin! Note: The photo was taken with a lamp on to show the product more accurately! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinJan 16, 2021
I've repurchased this over 5 times now! Even with my dry skin, applying just this after toner keeps my skin from feeling parched. If you have oily skin, this might be too rich for you! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 19, 2020
I'm afraid this might not be suitable for those with oily skin... While individual experiences may vary, I found it to be quite sticky and rich for my skin. It left my face looking shiny... However, it could potentially work well for those with dry skin. If you have very dry skin, this product might actually be a good fit for you. As someone with oily skin, this was way too rich and made my face super shiny. After applying it once, my skin completely broke out... I was really surprised by how greasy it made my skin - I didn't expect that at all! Looking at the ingredients, there are some aspects that could be improved. While it might be okay for dry skin, I definitely wouldn't recommend this for people with oily skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinNov 15, 2020
There's absolutely nothing good to say about this. I strongly advise against it... For a cosmetic product, it smells oddly like acacia gum. It's excessively rich, leaving my face feeling like an oil slick on the surface while the skin underneath feels parched and cracked. The hydration is non-existent - it's even less moisturizing than gentle, fresh emulsions designed for sensitive skin. I had a sensation of it clogging my pores, and after using this, I experienced a significant outbreak of blemishes. - Hwahae UserDry SkinOct 19, 2020
It's quite rich for an emulsion. I apply it to my dry hands. The scent is pleasant too. It seems particularly suitable for those with dry skin. I've been using it alongside the Innisfree Green Tea Emulsion. I'm giving it three stars, but I'm surprised by how much people with dry skin love it. Even though I have dry skin, I'm not a fan of overly rich emulsions. It works well when applied to the body or hands too. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJun 21, 2020
The hydration power is incredible! At first, I thought it might just sit on top of my skin, but it really tackles deep dryness. It feels a bit rich and heavy due to its oiliness. Those with oily skin might want to avoid this one. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMay 25, 2020
I love products with honey, so I really enjoyed the scent and texture. It was perfect for winter use. It's quite sticky and feels a bit greasy after application, unlike other products. I managed to use it in winter, but I don't think I could use it in summer. - Hwahae UserDry SkinMay 16, 2020
As someone with extremely dry skin all over, including my face, to the point where I needed prescription ointments from a dermatologist, this product is perfect for me. Its hydrating power is so strong that I don't even need to use additional creams or facial oils. While its moisturizing ability is excellent, the emulsion formula is heavy and quite sticky. It feels more rich than just moisturizing, which might feel a bit suffocating during the summer months. - Hwahae UserDry SkinApr 20, 2020
In winter, you don't need to apply a separate cream because it's so rich that your face doesn't feel tight at all. It's terrible for summer use. The rich texture makes your face feel hot, stuffy, and sticky. Use this only in winter
