As someone with super sensitive skin prone to blemishes, I was pleasantly surprised that this product didn't cause any issues. My dry skin usually struggles with emulsions, leaving me with deep dryness and makeup that doesn't sit well. However, this one keeps my skin hydrated and elastic without any tightness. When I use it before bed, I wake up with honey-like skin, and my makeup applies beautifully without pilling. Since I started using this, people have been calling me 'Dewy Skin Girl' and complimenting my complexion. It's truly my holy grail product! Due to its intense hydration, those with oily skin might want to avoid this. The product has a somewhat heavy feel when applied, so if you prefer lightweight emulsions, you might find this a bit too rich. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 20, 2020
It locks in hydration incredibly well. Plus, the honey scent is delightful! It feels like it's really sealing in the moisture, giving your skin a super-hydrated sensation. If you enjoy products that leave a slight oily finish, you'll likely be satisfied with this. (Between us, I actually prefer the toner to the emulsion...) The texture is so thick that it feels a bit suffocating on the skin. While I absolutely loved how the Ginger Honey toner clung to my skin perfectly, the emulsion feels excessively sticky, so I can't recommend it. I typically prefer lighter, water-like formulas that leave a matte finish, so the heaviness is a major drawback for me. The finish is quite oily - you can even feel the residue on other objects you touch after application (it's almost as if you've applied pure oil rather than an emulsion!). I'd recommend the Ginger Honey toner instead. However, if you don't mind a heavier feel and need intense hydration, you might enjoy this. It has a pleasant scent and pretty good ingredients. Those who like products with an oily finish will probably appreciate this emulsion. - Hwahae UserDry SkinMay 16, 2020
As someone with extremely dry skin all over, including my face, to the point where I needed prescription ointments from a dermatologist, this product is perfect for me. Its hydrating power is so strong that I don't even need to use additional creams or facial oils. While its moisturizing ability is excellent, the emulsion formula is heavy and quite sticky. It feels more rich than just moisturizing, which might feel a bit suffocating during the summer months. - Hwahae UserDry SkinApr 20, 2020
In winter, you don't need to apply a separate cream because it's so rich that your face doesn't feel tight at all. It's terrible for summer use. The rich texture makes your face feel hot, stuffy, and sticky. Use this only in winter - Hwahae UserCombination SkinNov 30, 2019
My skin tends to be oily on the nose and forehead, while my cheeks are normal to dry. However, as the weather got colder, my skin became much drier overall. I don't have acne, and honey-based products have always seemed to work well for my skin. I'm currently using the toner and emulsion from this line. 1. The application is great! It has a slightly runny honey-like texture that spreads easily, even with a small amount. 2. Super hydrating and nourishing! As winter approached and my skin became very dry, this keeps it moisturized for hours. Even those with extremely dry skin shouldn't feel any dryness with this. It's so rich that you might not even feel the need for an essence. The texture is quite rich, so this alone feels sufficient. And it's not just a feeling - my skin has become so soft using just the toner and emulsion that I don't think I'll need an essence this winter! 3. As mentioned earlier, it really improves your skin! I was worried it might be too rich and cause blemishes, but with proper amount control, I didn't experience any issues. My skin texture has improved dramatically! I had already seen some improvement from other products, but this took it to another level. My skin feels incredibly soft, and even without makeup, it has a subtle glow when light hits it. It's amazing - my skin looks visibly healthier! It's quite sticky. The texture itself is stretchy and tacky to the touch. Unlike other emulsions, if you apply too much, it can feel overwhelming. Overapplying makes it feel like you've spread actual honey on your face - it's sticky and uncomfortable. While it's fine in cold weather, I don't think I could use this at all when it gets warmer. There was one time when my room was too warm and I woke up feeling uncomfortable. Even though I hadn't applied much, the heat made it feel stickier and more suffocating than usual. Definitely not recommended for hot weather! Apply just a tiny amount! Start with a small amount and gradually increase to find what works best for you. Unless you have very dry skin, it's better not to apply this before makeup. Even a small amount might feel fine at first, but the oil tends to build up later. However, this could also be because I'm using the toner from the same line. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinNov 11, 2019
I enjoyed the subtle, sweet honey scent. That's about it. It feels sticky and heavy. It seems they launched this more for moisturizing than hydration, but I cautiously wonder if it might disappear from the market in a few years. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSep 24, 2019
I have combination dehydrated skin that gets oily even in winter! Despite my oily tendencies, I chose this glow-inducing emulsion because I thought it would be hydrating. And it didn't disappoint! It's as moisturizing as dry skin types would need in winter, with the emulsion's signature hydrating effect really shining through. Of course, I wish the texture felt a bit lighter when applied, but that's to be expected with such a hydrating formula. The scent is almost identical to Innisfree's old Canola Honey line, which I love! Personally, I'd recommend this as a winter emulsion for normal to dry skin types rather than oily ones. The texture feels a bit heavy, but it's not really a deal-breaker. If I had to nitpick, that would be the only minor drawback I can think of! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJul 27, 2019
The hydration is definitely noticeable. Even with just this one product, my skin didn't feel dry at all. After applying, my skin felt somewhat suffocated. My acne on my cheeks actually got worse after using this. It might be because I couldn't control the amount properly, but it seemed to clog my pores. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinJun 9, 2019
As someone with dry skin both on the surface and deep down, I found this product incredibly nourishing and hydrating when applied. It's the kind of product that would be perfect for winter use. For summer use, it might feel a bit heavy even for those with dry skin, potentially leading to a slightly suffocating sensation. - Hwahae UserOily SkinApr 24, 2019
As someone with dry skin, I love how incredibly moisturizing this is. People always tell me I'm glowing when I go out wearing this! It seems to have excellent hydrating power. This product might feel a bit heavy on the skin for some people.
