It's quite rich for an emulsion. I apply it to my dry hands. The scent is pleasant too. It seems particularly suitable for those with dry skin. I've been using it alongside the Innisfree Green Tea Emulsion. I'm giving it three stars, but I'm surprised by how much people with dry skin love it. Even though I have dry skin, I'm not a fan of overly rich emulsions. It works well when applied to the body or hands too. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinJun 28, 2019
This product leaves your skin with a radiant glow the next morning. 1. I have normal skin. Apart from occasional small blemishes, I don't experience any major skin issues. 2. The best part is how it provides rich, deep hydration! It doesn't cause any significant blemishes. 3. There's nothing particularly outstanding or negative beyond that! I'd say its main advantage is that it's a reliable, no-fuss product. 1. Innisfree claims to be environmentally conscious, but it's disappointing that the bottle is plastic. While Innisfree's basic line seems to be a steady seller, I wish they would offer refillable emulsions. 2. When the bottle is almost empty, it becomes difficult to dispense the emulsion. Perhaps because the formula is firmer than other lines, it's frustrating to throw away the last bit that can't be used up. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJun 10, 2019
As someone with dry skin that feels tight even in May, I find this Ginger Honey cream lives up to its name. Its rich, honey-like texture is packed with nourishing oils that keep my skin moisturized for hours after application. It's great for dry skin types, except perhaps during summer. The heavy feeling might make it too greasy to use in summer, likely causing excess shine. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMay 4, 2019
It's on the rich side, and the scent is nice for daily use in fall and winter. It's a bit sticky, and while the fragrance itself is pleasant, it's quite strong and can be a bit irritating. Also, I bought a separate pump, but it doesn't quite fit. It's as if I bought a pump from a different brand that's not compatible. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 15, 2019
I have combination skin, for starters. The texture is really rich and thick, with a strong ginger-honey scent that wasn't quite my style. But since it's winter, I decided to give it a try and here's my review. As I mentioned, the fragrance was quite strong for me initially. Despite its thick consistency, it absorbed surprisingly well. It's very moisturizing and hydrating - I'd definitely recommend it for those with super dry skin. It might be a bit heavy for combination skin types and up. I found it more effective to apply at night rather than in the morning, as it felt a bit heavy during the day. It also tended to cause some pilling under makeup. The ingredient list is fairly short, which isn't bad, and it seems to lock in hydration and moisture really well. The absorption wasn't as satisfying on my face as I'd hoped. Also, it leaves a bit of an oily residue, so I wouldn't recommend it if you dislike that feeling on your skin. It's really best suited for those with very dry skin. Also, since it contains shea butter, there's a possibility it might trigger blemishes. It feels heavy in the morning, so applying it at night before bed seems to be more effective.
