The hydration is great! I would have kept using it if it hadn't been discontinued. I really like it. It's a shame it's been discontinued... And the scent isn't particularly pleasant. It's good for winter use though. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinFeb 2, 2022
It provides excellent hydration, making it perfect for winter use. The quantity is generous. It feels a bit sticky, which can be uncomfortable. There's a slight scent that might bother those with super sensitive skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinApr 2, 2021
As someone with extremely dry skin that feels tight and flaky after cleansing, especially during seasonal changes or cold winters, I've found the Ginger Honey Essential Emulsion to be a game-changer. Since using it, my skin has become noticeably softer. The hydration it provides is so powerful that you could use this alone in your daily routine. I'm thoroughly satisfied with this product. Those with oily or super sensitive skin should approach this product with caution. Given its focus on hydration, it seems to have a high oil and moisture content, and possibly some potentially irritating ingredients. My daughter, who has sensitive skin, tried it once and her face had a severe reaction, causing her quite a bit of trouble. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinFeb 25, 2021
Repurchase intention: Low My T-zone is oily, but my cheeks are dry, so when I only use toner and Innisfree Cherry Blossom Jelly Cream, it feels a bit dry. I bought this for winter use! It's definitely richer, so I liked that it wasn't drying anymore. It's great if you're looking for a moisturizing product. The scent is just like its name suggests - a hint of honey and ginger? It wasn't overwhelming at all. The texture is slightly stringy and has a hydrating formula. Since it contains honey, it was a bit disappointing that it left a slightly greasy finish. It's also quite sticky. I strongly discourage those with oily skin from using this! It seems like it would be suitable for those with extremely dry skin. Also, whenever I apply this emulsion, I sometimes get small blemishes or sebum bumps, probably due to its richness. So, I probably won't buy it again after I finish this one. This might be good for those with dry skin who lack oil in their skin! Note: The photo was taken with a lamp on to show the product more accurately! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinFeb 16, 2021
As someone with super sensitive skin prone to blemishes, I was pleasantly surprised that this product didn't cause any issues. My dry skin usually struggles with emulsions, leaving me with deep dryness and makeup that doesn't sit well. However, this one keeps my skin hydrated and elastic without any tightness. When I use it before bed, I wake up with honey-like skin, and my makeup applies beautifully without pilling. Since I started using this, people have been calling me 'Dewy Skin Girl' and complimenting my complexion. It's truly my holy grail product! Due to its intense hydration, those with oily skin might want to avoid this. The product has a somewhat heavy feel when applied, so if you prefer lightweight emulsions, you might find this a bit too rich. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJan 24, 2021
This product seems perfect for dry seasons like autumn and winter. The honey ingredient provides excellent hydration. Plus, the scent isn't overpowering, making it comfortable to use. Perhaps due to the honey content, you need to tap the container several times to get the product out. After application, the texture feels a bit sticky, so it seems to take longer to absorb. If this issue could be resolved, I'd consider repurchasing it. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinJan 16, 2021
I've repurchased this over 5 times now! Even with my dry skin, applying just this after toner keeps my skin from feeling parched. If you have oily skin, this might be too rich for you! - Hwahae UserDry SkinOct 19, 2020
It's quite rich for an emulsion. I apply it to my dry hands. The scent is pleasant too. It seems particularly suitable for those with dry skin. I've been using it alongside the Innisfree Green Tea Emulsion. I'm giving it three stars, but I'm surprised by how much people with dry skin love it. Even though I have dry skin, I'm not a fan of overly rich emulsions. It works well when applied to the body or hands too. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinOct 3, 2020
This is a lifesaver during dry winter months! It's a hydration powerhouse that locks in moisture like no other. I love that I can skip other products and just use this emulsion skin - it's that good. The honey and ginger ingredients feel like they're nourishing my skin from within. If I had to point out a downside, it's that it might be too heavy for use outside of winter. There's a certain richness to it that could be a bit much for warmer seasons. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinJul 11, 2020
Great for those with dry skin or as a winter moisturizer! I recommend using it together with the toner from the same line rather than on its own. It seems to provide better hydration that way. The texture is rich and slightly sticky, which helps lock in moisture. There's a sticky feeling after application, and it might cause pilling if you apply makeup immediately over it. The scent might not be to everyone's liking, so I'd suggest testing it at a store before purchasing.
