When I used it, I got breakouts on my face. It seems to be because two chemical ingredients were added in 2017. The lather also doesn't form well.

This product can effectively remove most makeup, except for mascara. First, apply it without water, and then rinse it off during your shower. I have combination skin that is prone to whiteheads on my cheeks and nose, but I have never experienced any breakouts from using this product.

Pros
I've been using this product exclusively for 2 years, but got bored and tried something else. However, I'm planning to go back to it as nothing else compares. Great value for money and huge capacity. It's also usable as a body cleanser, which is very convenient when going to the bathhouse. :) Another reason I'm returning to it is that it's hard to find a cleanser without lauryl sulfate, and using cleansers with lauryl sulfate long-term can make your skin sensitive.
Cons
The lather may not be as abundant as some would prefer, but I personally like it. As it's a mild acidic cleanser, it may not be suitable for those with dry skin. If you're experiencing breakouts despite not having dry skin, it's likely that the mild acidic cleanser doesn't work well for your skin type, so I'd recommend trying a neutral cleanser instead.

Pros
It's a mild cleanser and a non-soap product, so it's very gentle and good for the skin!!! And the large volume!! The price-to-value ratio is also good! I've been using it for over 5 years!
Cons
The downside is that the product, being a non-soap and mildly acidic, doesn't lather up well. Especially when your hands have a lot of oil or impurities, the lather is practically non-existent! After washing with a hand wash, just gently pat your skin. For makeup removal, it's best to do a 1st cleanse with oil, cream, or lotion, then follow up with this 2nd cleanse.
Tip
On days when I only wear sunscreen (without makeup), I don't do a double cleanse. I just apply it directly to my dry face and massage it in! Then I add a little water and roll it around. That way, it rinses off quite smoothly.
