A transparent gel cleanser with a cooling effect! It rinses off well, has great ingredients, causes almost no irritation, and offers good value for money. It would be perfect for removing makeup too. Many cleansers can be slippery or leave residue, or even be harsh on the skin, but this one washes everything away cleanly! I'd love to try the entire line. Avoid scrubbing too hard. If you don't lather it up properly and wash gently without irritation, it can cause dead skin cells to flake. It wasn't terribly inconvenient though. Available at Eve and Cou for around $8-$11. - ql******Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedAug 6, 2021
It's a vegan product, fragrance-free, and has great ingredients. Any concerning ingredients have long been removed, so it seems safe now. The ingredient combination looks suitable for oily or combination skin types. The sensitive version, designed for dry skin and those with fragrance allergies, definitely has the best ingredient profile. The foam has a natural product feel - watery and fluffy. It's noticeably less drying than regular washes, which I'm satisfied with. This product seems perfect as an all-in-one for body, face, and hands. It's also great value for money, with a huge capacity option available - over 3 liters! You could buy the large size and customize it with different essential oils as you use it. I'm currently using it as a hand wash and it's not drying at all! Very pleased with it. It's summer now so the dryness is less noticeable, but we'll have to see how it performs in fall and winter! The fragrance-free scent is a bit too reminiscent of dishwashing liquid! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 30, 2021
I've been using this for over 5 years. The ingredients are gentle, and it keeps my skin nicely hydrated. The pump is a bit flimsy, and I wish it came in a larger size. - tl********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 12, 2021
Let's stick with this forever! My whole family has been using it for over a decade. I've heard it's a love-it-or-hate-it product, but I absolutely adore it. I've never experienced any blemishes, it's gentle, non-irritating, and leaves my skin clean. Some people do double or triple cleansing, but I only use this product. I used to use separate lip and eye makeup removers and water-based cleansers along with this, but now I don't need to. On days I wear makeup, I use this for both first and second cleansing. It's possible because I don't wear eye makeup and only use lip tints in these mask-wearing times. It removes everything cleanly in one go. I believe it's a low pH product, and unlike regular cleansers, it gently exfoliates dead skin cells, leaving my skin smooth without needing additional peeling. With consistent use, I've never had common blemishes or experienced any eye irritation. I once tried African Black Soap Liquid due to some controversy with this product, but continued use made it seem like my makeup wasn't absorbing well, and I realized I needed separate exfoliation. So I came back to this, and I often use it as an all-in-one product. For my body, I usually use Dr. Woods Shea Butter products, which are also good, but using this as an all-in-one works well for my skin too. Skin products can vary in effectiveness from person to person, so I can't say it's good for everyone, but it works wonders for me. It would be a perfect product if not for the steady price increases. Even so, compared to domestic products or famous brand items, it's hard to complain about the value given its enormous volume. It's a must-have product that I always keep stocked up. It's more important to me than cosmetics. It's unscented, which I prefer. I don't like constantly smelling artificial fragrances other than the perfume I choose, so I favor unscented cleansers, body products, and cosmetics. There's no special tip since my routine is simply cleansing and applying a hydrating moisturizer. However, when I want to reduce whiteheads or blackheads in enlarged pores, I do an oil massage, cleanse with this product, and then care for my skin - it makes my complexion clearer with consistent use. Also, while I don't get body acne, sometimes my back gets itchy and I end up with something like sebum when I scratch. Does this happen to you? When it does, I use a generous amount of this product as a body wash, and it leaves my body skin feeling as soft and gently exfoliated as my face. Of course, individual results may vary. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedSep 21, 2020
My holy grail for over 5 years. This gentle, slightly acidic foam cleanser is free from parabens, fragrances, and surfactants, yet its cleansing effectiveness is fantastic! Just wet your hands a bit, lather it up, and you get a rich, creamy foam. Plus, the price is so affordable... It's the best! There was a lot of talk about humectants being added at some point, but it seems that's gone now, haha! I use apricot kernel oil from iHerb for cleansing, followed by this as a final step. The apricot kernel oil is absolutely amazing for removing blackheads and whiteheads... You can feel the dead skin cells and sebum as you roll it on your skin. You can even see the blackheads that have come out! Then I gently press a facial tissue on my face to absorb the excess oil, like using blotting paper, and thoroughly wipe my palms. After that, I wash my hands with soap and finish with this cleansing gel. It's truly the best! The only downside of the apricot kernel oil is that it's not on Hwahae since it's not technically a cosmetic product. I really want to spread the word about this amazing tip! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 21, 2020
I've been using this product for 9 years now. It feels like a professional dermatologist-grade cleanser. As someone with super sensitive skin, I find it gentle yet effective. It cleanses well without any issues. I couldn't ask for more! It doesn't seem to be effective at removing blackheads or whiteheads. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 20, 2019
I've been using this product for over 5 years. It's great value for money and gentle on the skin. It would be nice if it came in a smaller size, which would be convenient for traveling. - 15***Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresJul 22, 2019
I bought this because it's a large size with a low pH, perfect for everyday use. While it doesn't lather much, that's typical for natural products, and the foam level was still decent. It seemed gentle, and I finished several bottles without any skin issues. The only downsides were that it doesn't create a rich lather and feels a bit slippery, so you might need to wash multiple times, which can leave your skin feeling slightly dry. However, it cleanses well and isn't as drying as other foam cleansers, so I was satisfied. After finishing the product and reading reviews to write my own, I'm shocked considering my skin hasn't shown any major problems. Apparently, there were some ingredients I usually try to avoid, even in small amounts. It seems the formula has changed since then, so those ingredients might not be present anymore. Make sure to carefully check the ingredient list before purchasing... I can't believe I fell for this! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 21, 2019
It's gentle and hydrating. The value for money is unbeatable. I've been using this exclusively for years now. It stings my eyes a bit, so I need to rinse thoroughly. Other than that, there are no drawbacks at all. Instead of using a spot makeup remover, I use cleansing oil first and finish with this. It leaves my skin incredibly hydrated. - th*******Normal SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 11, 2019
I've been using this for over 3 years. Being low pH, it's been improving my skin, leaving it moisturized after cleansing, and it's excellent at removing makeup. I don't wear much makeup, but I always apply sunscreen, and it removes mineral sunscreens well. There might be other factors, but I've just turned 30, and my skin is aging much slower compared to my friends. I'm not sure if it's because I don't wear foundation, always apply sunscreen, use a low pH cleanser, or a combination of all three. The one thing I've been doing the longest is using this low pH cleanser. Buying in bulk through direct purchase allows the whole family to use it generously, and it's incredibly affordable. It might be the most economical low pH cleanser out there. The only downside might be that you have to purchase it directly... To be honest, I keep using it because I don't have any complaints. However, I've heard it doesn't work for some people. Reading reviews on iHerb, some users have experienced serious side effects. Could the low pH be the issue? It would be better if you could test it in-store, but since it's only available through direct purchase, there's a risk of wasting money. My family and I just happened to be lucky that it works well for us. Regarding the humidifier disinfectant ingredient, I believe it's fine as long as it's not used in large quantities or inhaled in fine particles like in a humidifier. Originally, it was approved without thorough testing because it was considered safe enough to ingest. It's actually present in many wet wipes we commonly use.
